So small. Comes with it's own cup.. no other cup would fit under it. The pictures tell the story. I poured it into my normal mug and that's how much coffee it makes
After a little bit over 30 days, twice a week use this machine/coffee maker stops working. I press the 6oz, 10oz, and even 15oz and it only made about one oz. Waste of money.
We must have gotten a total lemon and it appears that we are now out of our return window. It's just over 2 months old and already not working. Just a blank screen appears after we brew a cup. We have to unplug and lose any saved timers/clock every day. I'm super frustrated. My last Keurig lasted for 3 years. For something this expensive the return window should not expire in 30 days.
I was looking for a pour over coffee pot that would serve as being a nice little display trinket for decor purposes as well as a functional tool for brewing coffee. On a whim, I purchased this and I was pleasantly surprised. While great coffee requires great beans, the tool in which it brews cannot be overlooked either. I've made three pots of coffee thus far, each pot enjoyable and each pot more pleasant than the last (I'm still experimenting with techniques). Suffice to say, it is a simple, clean, and efficient product that delivers. Sidenote: I also work in food photography and this coffee maker may very well be a useful prop one day.
Was so looking forward to this as it was a present for my mom …
Received the end of September. On/off switch broke end of November. Used very little as I'm rarely home. Would hot replace or refund. Wouldn't send me an invoice for a warranty claim. Worst customer service ever. Do not recommend this product OR seller.
It does not give you 8 cups of coffee in fact and barely gives you 5. On top of the fact that it has a lead warning. Do Not Buy this is criminal!!!
The unit is solid and well made. The lid and filter have thick silicone washers that seem like they will last a long time. The filter is easy to clean with the included bottlebrush. There are no directions on how to make cold brew coffee so I went onto the Internet but it’s really easy. Just put some ground coffee into the filter and fill it with cold water then put the entire unit into the refrigerator overnight. Make sure you screw the lid on tight. If you don’t, it could drop the glass part onto the floor. That would be a bummer. Before serving the coffee just opened it up and remove the filter, then screw the lid back on and you are ready to go. I like this set up and I highly recommend it. I also recommend cleaning it well after each use.
The carafe apparently falls apart after only two months of use. It fell apart as I was carrying it full of water back to the machine. I cut myself pretty bad because of this awful product
Works well as a regular coffee maker but the pot has no cracked and spills all over the place after less than 2 months. Not worth it.
Great Quality! Perfect size for family use. The stainless steel filter locks the ground inside. If you want to add some sweetness somehow, I recommend use syrup. Also great as gifts for clients.
Hello, we purchased this as a birthday gift for our son. His birthday is 10/20 today we gave him the present and as he opened the white box inside the main box we observed that the glass bowl and lid were shattered.
Love this basic coffee maker. It works as expected and gives a nice volume of coffee. Notably, this one doesn't come with all the bells and whistles that some other coffee makers come with. For example, this coffee maker does not have a timed delay, which was a point of consideration for my partner and I who both work in healthcare and have to get up quite early. In any event, we got a smart plug from Kasa and time the coffee maker that way! It suits our needs and I think we ended up saving big time on buying a more basic coffee maker. Most importantly, the coffee tastes great :)
I bought this machine after the hot summer we’ve had. It is easy to use and made 2 cold brews for my daughter and I.
My wife and I love this. We make two brews per week. It is easy to clean, and with the special paper filters there are no grounds in the brew. The only problem is the carafe is too flimsy. I think it is borosilicate glass (think Pyrex) and it looks like a beaker, with measurement markings. But the glass is thin and finally broke after a year of being gentle to it. We happened to have a Bormioli Rocco 2-liter pitcher: Bormioli Rocco Hermetic Seal Glass Pitcher With Lid and Spout [68 Ounce] Great for Homemade Juice & Iced Tea or for Glass Milk Bottles This actually works great as a replacement. The glass is heavy and feels sturdy, like you could use it against an intruder (always a factor in my purchases). Also, the round interface on the bottom of the brewing apparatus sits perfectly on the aperture of the pitcher and is very stable (see photos). Finally, the pitcher is more than the capacity of the brewer, which eliminates a problem we used to have: overflow of the original carafe. The downsides are that you must lift the brewer onto the pitcher, and the brewer sits very slightly higher when on the pitcher. Neither are a problem for me but maybe they are for you. Also consider that any container large enough to contain the brew probably would not fit under the brewer anyway.
