  • WOW... what a letdown... More importantly, WHAT A HIGH RISK FOR BURNS!!! Most of the time leaves almost half of the water in the back instead of letting it Brew, but even when it does decide to brew it's always unevenly which causes one cup to overflow with extremely hot coffee and leave the other one almost entirely empty I have requested to send it back for a refund and I highly recommend nobody purchases

Really wanted to like this but I'm really disappointed. Set up is not as simple like I thought it would be. The part that dissaponts the most is the brewing. I have wasted coffee grounds, and gotten really really weak coffee. I Followed instructions to brew and coffee is super light at the heavy brew setting (took over 12 hours to brew when it says 10 hours). I looked at the coffee grounds in the bottom pod and the middle was still dry. The water completely went around and only brewed the outer. Picture included.

Very disappointing. 1. The carafe is paper thin, not double insulated and get cold in minutes. 2. the basket is tiny and standard paper-free filter will not fit. You will need paper filters.

  • Update: I added a new picture, why is there so much condensation on the inside of the water tank? I’ve only used this machine for a week but tons of lattes later, I’ve never had better coffee! As long as this Keurig keeps kicking I won’t have to enter another coffee shop again. Easy clean up too!!

I like this machine better than the "original" Mr. Coffee Ice Tea Maker I bought 10+ years ago, but it has some major design flaws. I purchased it from a big box store because I needed it immediately for a barbecue and did not have time to research other machines. I would highly recommend purchasing a different machine because of these flaws: 1. The water fill line on the machine is impossible to read. The letters are raised and blend into the plastic and it is in an awkward place. I use the machine with the "on" button facing forward. This requires the pitcher to fit to the right of the machine. In the provided photo of machine with pitcher, The water fill line is located under the spout of the pitcher. This area is actually colored (in this photo, it is red), my machine is black). This area is NOT translucent, so the markings are impossible to read. SEE PROVIDED PHOTO #1 2. There is a small hole in the back of the machine(not sure what purpose it serves). But, if you overfill the reservoir, the water drains out of this hole all over your counter area! SEE PROVIDED PHOTO #2. 3. The pitcher top fits very snug and is difficult to get on and off. It has to be gradually eased off from side to side. I tried warming the plastic top under boiling hot water to "adjust" the fit, but was not able to fix it. 4. This machine takes longer to brew the tea than my previous Mr. Coffee Ice Tea Machine and I only use the "Mild" setting. Even though the Ice Tea is Very Good and the machine is easy to clean, I cannot recommend this machine.

  • The package came yesterday evening. It was very well packed with a lot of padding with styrofoam. However, when I opened it up the small glass ground coffee storage jar was cracked through the window. While trying to figure out if kitchen lights are causing some optical illusion the base of the jar just fell in my palm. This could not be during the shipping as the package was very well padded with styrofoam having the separate section of this container. It must have broken in the factory. Obviously, the factory needs little more quality inspection and careful handling. I have never used a French Press before so as a first time user, I freshly grounded my coffee this morning before using this press and I can attest that it was one of the best aroma and taste, I had before for a coffee. This French Press is very well made and looks great just sitting on the kitchen counter. Plunger seals very well I could not feel any granular coffee left. It filters the coffee very well. Amazingly when I took the plunger out, I could not find a single trace of any coffee granule on top of it. I would have given five star if, I had not found the coffee jar broken. Maybe I will change my mind if I can get a replacement or keep enjoying the coffee for few weeks.

Works well and brews quickly. I wish the water tank was just a little bigger, but it’s expected with a smaller machine. Super easy to use, however, when it brews it splashes up and onto the back of the machine and will need to be wiped off after each use.

    Love it!

  • Doesn’t filter tiny particles out very well since it’s only a single screen, but definitely satisfactory! Perfect size for a good cup of coffee at work, the handle and glass are sturdy on mine and it’s easy to use the plunger. The springs are bouncy but the lip of the screen is folder over once at the last few cm and after a ton of use and washings I could see the sharp screen edge peeling back to catch on things, but it hasn’t happened to mine after 5 uses so far. Included size comparison to my full size French press.

  • Machine was sent in very clearly opened packaging and was previously used. The water tank was still wet from the prior owner. Incredibly disappointing and unacceptable after a major delay in shipping to receive a used product at full price.

Purchased this coffee maker last August. Five months of use (once per day) and the lettering on the "brew" button is vanishing. Not a good sign for the overall quality of the unit. I could read the buttons on previous coffee makers for years until they stopped working. I suppose we can use a Sharpie to label it when it completely disappears. Update: Beware of losing the spring that operates the valve at the bottom of the filter holder. This cuts off the coffee flow when removing the pot for coffee while brewing. It tends to fall off. We found it on the floor and in the sink.

  • This has a nice large tank for water, quite, brews fast and the the pause feature is sweet. First take up much space. The thermal kraft keeps the coffee hot for several hours.

  • Works great. I bought two of them! I found the coffee a bit watery tasting at the 24 hour point, and find 48 hrs brew time is much better. The one thing I really liked about this one was that the pitcher is plastic where most others are made of glass. I won't have to worry about this one breaking.

Love, love, love this coffee maker!! Water boils at a lower temperature at high altitude, so I have struggled to make a full-bodied cup for many years. This machine makes a fabulous cup of of coffee!!! At 3 minutes for a full pot of piping hot coffee, you can't go wrong!!

  • We had family with us when we tested this at Christmas time. They all really loved how quick it was to produce shots of espresso. The gauge for pressure was really accurate and really allowed us to adjust the amount of ground coffee or how tightly we packed it to create the perfect cup. It has a really small footprint and fits well on the counter. For the money, we think it’s an incredible value. Regardless the price it works really well!
