Update: after 3 years of using the machine I've decided to try using the Keurig pods. All it did was a mess. As seen in my video, the needle doesn't puncture the Keurig capsule therefore it was just water spilling all over the counter. Today is the first day of use. I used the single-serve side. The initial cleaning mentioned to press 10oz. At first it started like it was going to brew then only dripped a few drops of water. I got worried because a reviewer mentioned the same thing. After 4 minutes it was obvious it was not going to drop any more water so I tried again and it work. Just to make sure I tried once more and it worked. Then I proceed with my coffee. The design flaw: - using a coffee mug causes a few splashes over your counter and the 12-cup side. It should have had option to raise the mug. But that's minor flaw. - I used the single side to make iced coffee therefore using a thumbler (travel mug). You CANNOT use a thumbler. The height between the tray base plate and the drip section is 7". My thumbler is 8". While you are able to remove the drip tray plate, the base is NOT removable. This makes it as if you're inserting a long pole inside a bathtub but the ceiling is too low to get the pole back straight. - if not using capsule, single-side can only have 1 standard coffee scoop. They include a scoop but it's tiny. The maximum capacity is 2.5 Cuisinart scoops (1 standard scoop of grind coffee). This made my coffee watery. Next time I'll see if the bold option works on the single-side and makes a better coffee. After reading a few negative reviews of using capsules, I clean my needles (top and bottom). While i don't intend to use capsules anytime soon I hope this will prevent the incident. I will update this review after a month of use if necessary.

  • This is the second electric percolator I have tried. I have been using a stainless steel stove top percolator which works great and makes the best coffee, but I wanted the ease of being able to not have to watch the coffee. I love the idea of being able to just plug in the percolator and walk away from it. Unfortunately, the electric percolators I’ve tried don’t seem to make very good coffee, I tried the Presto before this one. They also make a mess and the grounds go everywhere. I’m not sure why this is happening because this has never happened to me with my stove top percolator. I could deal with the messy coffee grounds if the coffee at least tasted halfway decent, but after attempting to brew the coffee the same way I do in the stove top percolator pot, I noticed that the electric version produces a very weak cup of coffee, even though I used exactly the same measurements. It’s an attractive looking pot though, love the glass top and the keep warm switch, sorry it didn’t work for me.

  • Worked great! Packed it to the beach house - loved it.

I actually got this bella coffee maker for one reason, that being it had a mixing tube built into the lid. I believe it gives a more blending to the coffee. Others do not have that and I always stir the coffee in the carafe before pouring. I have had a couple that did have them but on both they were removable and eventually the plastic broke. Bella coffee is a well made unit that is a no frills basic coffee maker. The water drips around and through the tube ginning the coffee a smooth blend. It can be programmed to have the coffee brewed and ready when you need it and an off switch. It also has a second button to make a stronger coffee but has not been used. I have followed the directions of the stronger coffee which said to hold the program button for three seconds and a led will light up then push the brew/off and both lights will be on but only one will work. After several tries I have only one light on no matter what and no verification that it is in the stronger coffee mode. With that aside it is a great little coffee maker that works and I don’t have to stir my coffee before using. At its stated price you can’t go wrong.

  • Update May 2023: this one lasted 8 months. it is splitting open along seam. Switching brands. Update before 2023 : I got 18 months out of it but it started showing signs of failure after a year. This is my second conical pour over coffee thing. I replaced the first one because the thin plastic liner was worn and loose. It lasted maybe 2 or 3 years. Before it failed I bought this one as a replacment. Unfortunately, the liner in this one is already loose. I give it six months to a year before I have to replace it. Otherwise this product works fine an as intended. So 4 or 5 stars for how it works, 2 or 3 stars for durability.

Besides looking beautiful sitting on my counter top, this coffee maker makes the best cup of coffee I've had in years. It brews fast and comes out much hotter than our previous Mr. Coffee brand pot. The carafe temp setting is a huge plus. Easy to use and clean. I do wish there was a back light for the clock though, and I have read complaints about it being difficult to use the interior water reservoir level indicator but I just measure by using the carafe itself, no big deal. Hoping to get several years of use with this one!

Did normal pre-clean. Made one. ☝️ (1) pot with of coffee. This is not what I expect out of a Cuisinart product, let alone one rated so well. Product being returned

Solid coffee maker! Makes excellent, flavorful coffee and has all the bells and whistles you’d want. Made in Germany .. Love it!

  • I really feel like I have all I need concerning coffee! I have been using Nespresso for over 15 years. But ironically, my husband and I do not drink thick espresso coffee, so always double the water volume. We were not happy with narrow choices of coffee, and wanted to different coffee flavors. I am also a heavy tea & granulated coffee drinker, so as a morning routine, I boil 1.5 liter water and keep it in the thermos for the day. I chose Ninja dualbrew pro over Keurig dual coffee machine because Ninja takes much less space, and had coffee jar warming function. (Was 70 dollars cheaper too!!) Ninja dualbrew pro substituted 1 Nespresso machine, 1 ground coffee machine for big guests, 1 french press coffee maker, 1 water pot, 1 hot water thermos and 1 milk frother.. I almost feel bad so many machines and gadgets I used everyday completely retired ever since Ninja came, and takes up space in the cabinet, unused.. My husband and I prefer keurig coffee intensity to Nespresso, and I use hot water function for everything! I bought ninja competible stainless steel reusable pod together, and enjoy my favorite coffee! Unlike some old comments here, you can find several different kinds of reusable pod in the coffeemakers.us.com. Unlike keurig dual machine, Ninja has 1 spout for both ground and pod coffee, so you have to insert or take out your pod cartridge. It is a bit complicated at first, but direction is engraved on the machine and written on the sticker, so I could do it without looking up the manual pretty easily after I forgot how to do it. Big ground coffee pot is sufficient for home parties! Versatile water can position allows me to choose the depth and width of the machine. Very easy to clean the pod cartridge or ground coffee spout. Couldn't be happier that we got new coffee machine. I seriously recommend this!!!!

READ ALL: DISAPPOINTMENTS: I received a much waited for coffee brewer that is slim line and does NOT take up so much space on the counter top. Unpacking was joyful due to the care they took to make sure it was not damaged in shipping, very pleased with that. As I opened the many layers I noticed a stain of yellowish on the bottom of the brewer see picture above, NOT PLEASED for it should not arrive looking like this and I cant for the life of me figure out how it got stained? after one year the plastic top seal is broken but unite still works. Have not been able to get hold of seller to see if they can send new top for with out the tight seal the unite doesnt work! so it is not long lasting. SO BE WARE The Instructions are very easy and larger enough to read to figure out how to set up and brew! nice for I anticipate my coffee at this moment. It states no more the 25 grams and I would go less for 25 grams is very strong but palatable. I have a picture above to show actual size comparison to mason jar. It comes with an orange sleeve so you do not get burnt which is very thoughtful. the internal filter is stainless steel and good quality to keep all sentiment s out of your coffee. The Aroma while beginning the brew smells up my house and I felt like I was at my favorite coffee shop. So very pleased. It has two settings for coffee one mild and the other strong. It also has temp settings to regulate you heat to taste. There is also TEA brewing settings and I like that for I am not always in the mood for coffee..... The Only down side is, in this present day you would think they could figure out how to has it charge up like my phone so it is easy to bring places where electric is not available. However over ALL it seems to be worth the money so far; lets see how long it last I tried to down load video but it would not load ONE other odd matter is a black cord which I feel should have been white to match the brewer! I will have to replace because I like everything to match rightly. I brewed tea this AM and it came out perfect and gives you two cups and half in a tea cup( not American cup size which is all over large and looses heat to quickly) this is efficient and no noise but does give off steam so don't put it below a cabinet while on. 3 month review:: lid cracked from heat around their manufactures seam I have been waiting for a replacement for a year now called coffeemakers.us.com, no help.... they do NOT stand behind their A-Z guarantee!

Since moving to the USA from Europe I’ve been missing my dolce gusto machine so much, I was even considering ordering one from Japan at one point 😂 I found out they were available here now and immediately purchased one. I saw there was a used one available with a 30 day return so I figured it was safe to order at only $200. I scored, big time! Machine came in the original packaging, it didn’t look used, ever, and works great! Coffee looks and tastes like it’s been made by a professional barrista and it’s extremely easy to use!!! I love that it comes with its own bin for used capsules. In a couple of minutes I can make my drink and save the $5 I’m spending at Starbucks every day!

Love this coffee maker. I put a placemat under because of little mist splash, but expected by any I'm sure.
