I was able to purchase this Braun coffee maker as a coffeemakers.us.com renewed unit, So I got a good price. However it is missing a central part; The permanent filter which is supposed to come with the unit is not here. I have not used it yet since I need a filter but everything else seems to be in place. I did run water through it and set the time and everything seems to be working properly.
Look at the picture attached with this review - notice anything ƃuoɹʍ? :) Yeah, they sent us a machine with the logo ǝpᴉsdn uʍop! What the heck, Mr. Coffee. If I was a nocturnal bat, do you think I would need this coffee maker? When I received the coffee maker, it was upside down in the box but I figured that is no big deal. I read the whole manual, cleaned it out as instructed, put the pieces together, THEN I noticed that the logo was upside down. Despite it looking a little ridiculous, I figured an upside down logo never hurt anyone so I'd keep it. Before this machine, we used a single-serve coffee maker and a French Press. It has been a while since using a machine with a carafe, but so far it seems to do its job. We purchased the reusable coffee filter and some more water filters. I did not realize that when I bought the machine originally, but you will need to replace the water filter every month. It's not costly... it is about $5 for 6 filters on coffeemakers.us.com. The beep on the machine caught me off guard at first... it beeps about four times and sounds kind of like a smoke detector. It will beep when it's done, and then beep again when it turns off automatically. Overall, for 35 bucks, I'd say it's worth it.
Love this! Ready to serve as long as it has water. Filters water.
So I bought this Majesto machine, the 1st one came but had a defective I am not too sure why the machine has water leak after I brew my coffee pods twice OR may be I cannot add water to tank to the Max level??? I returned and asked for a replacement, the 2nd one came now I do not want to take chance so add water only below the Max level, no leak yet. Coffee pods are different than Kcups and really difficult to find in any stores, only online option. I have high expectation of flavor but to be honest, not that great. I like strong coffee taste and all their flavors are light, very little sweet but the creamy part is the best. The machine itself is easy to use and really beautiful. I found myself somewhat enjoy having coffee even not up to my standard, so I keep it. I am glad I still do not give away my old coffee machine that can use Kcups so it is still an option for the family for Kcups and cup noodle :) If you like strong coffee, do not choose this line Dolce Gusto but if you like a light, good smell, and creamy taste then this is the one for you. Good luck!
Very tiny and about 2 shots of coffee. I'm used to a cup of coffee !
I didn't get a manual or anything and the stickers that were supposed to be over the buttons were not there
My previous coffee maker died after many years. Companies redesign products for marketing purposes and rarely for improvement. I have no doubt that this machine won't last as long as the other. It makes coffee the way it's supposed to, very convenient if you just want a large mugfull in about 5 minutes. I prefer paper filters because they work better, leaving no grounds in the cup. Unlike the cone shaped earlier model, this model is designed solely for their own round one. I don't like the way the top never closes.
*UPDATE* after my original review, the company reached out to me to let me know that they were redesigning their coffee pots to include larger sizes for K cups, they sent me a new one, this is a fantastic coffee pot. I am so glad that they changed their design, and what spectacular customer service, I couldn't ask for anything better. I highly recommend this coffee pot and this company. I am a very satisfied customer 😀 * original review * Very disappointed, No where on the description does it specify that you can only brew 6 or 8 oz with a pod, they say 6-14oz sizes to choose from, but they are referring to a pot of coffee, not the K-cup. This will not work for us, we only use K-cups and use 10-12 ounces on many occasions. If I would have known that you can only brew up to 8oz with a K-cup, I would have never ordered this!
At first I noticed a leakage, but just cleaned it up. Now the pump will do about 2 cups then , I have to restart to get it to finished the rest. I am beginning to think, these are sub-standard products that someone picked up. Especially since, another person is having similar problems.......
I saw a lot a reviews on coffeemakers.us.com and other sites, where people complained about units that were defective on arrival; however, so far my experience has been really good with this little guy. I had a big Keurig die after many years of use. And, it had all the bells and whistles, like auto-on and auto-off, and I feel like the Express starts brewing almost instantly, so no need to "warm-up" the unit. I actually bought mine for $49 at Walmart but the option to write a review was inaccessible on their site.
Very easy to make coffee and easy to clean after....the filter can just be reused, rewashed, and redried...do not have to plug it in and i can carry it any where on my trips or vacation...
It is an amazing piece of machinery and makes a great cup of coffee. Anything from three oz all the way up to 24 ounces is just at the touch of a button. The flexibility to be able to use ground coffee or beans is great and really ensures that you will always have a fresh cup every time. There are a few things that make it slightly less than perfect: firstly, you cannot brew for multiple people at the same time as you would with your typical 12 cup carafe. Secondly, it can be a little bit noisy but that's just a matter of getting to it. When it going through its cleanup, it almost sounds like it is getting ready to brew again. I like the fact that you don't have to clean up the grounds every time that you use it which is you very convenient. However, if you're using your own grounds it can be a little cumbersome to get them in the funnel without making a mess because the hole is small. Overall, it's a beautiful machine and has quite some heft to it and it feels very sturdy.
We got rid of our Keurig because coffee pods are a problem with environment waste and they make inferior coffee. The Ninja CP301 is so wonderful. It’s been a joy to use and is easy to operate. I love the different options for sizes and brew types. My husband has an erratic schedule so when he’s home, I make a full carafe, pour myself a travel mug and leave the rest warming for him to drink. When we are both out the door at different times, the option to make a travel mug size is just what we need. On weekends when we are both home and consume a full carafe but one of us needs just a bit more, just brewing a cup is the solution. I love to drink iced coffee during the summer and milk based coffees from time to time so having both these options available on one machine was what made me decide to purchase this machine. If you think what I wrote sounds a lot like you and if you’re deciding to purchase this, GO FOR IT!
Even though I had to wait a month to receive this I'm glad I waited. The 1st one was lost in the mail, and the seller replaced it for me. The color is lighter than the picture which we love because it matches our color scheme. This one pours very well, our old Ninja dripped and spilled all over the counter every time we would use it. Overall, I would recommend this product.
