I love this one and I was kind of hesitant bc I read previous reviews but I love it and you really don't have to get the filter because the brewing cup is removable to be cleaned. I should have bought 2 😁 but This is a must have!!!

  • Three months after receiving this coffeemaker as a wedding gift, I was gently washing the coffee pot with a soft bristled dish brush when the top of the brush punched a hole through the plastic wall. It was the most bizarre thing, and I really don't have an explanation for it besides low quality material. Given that I'd only had the product for three months and I understood this to be a reputable brand, I tried calling their US customer service line, only to be sent to a voicemail with a full mailbox. I then emailed Haden's customer service, briefly explained the issue, and attached a photo of the broken pot. The response I received was a link to purchase a replacement pot. My confused and frustrated follow-up email was never replied to, and Haden provided indifferent, impersonal, and unapologetic customer service, with zero effort to make the situation right. It's a shame, this really was a product I was excited about.

The only problem we had with this cold brew maker, is that the first time we used it, it was sitting on the counter and one member of the family mistook it for part of our blender and dumped the coffee all over the floor. You cannot see inside the appliance, so you cannot tell what it is. So we informed everyone in the household what this thing did, and went on to make the perfect cold brew by the next day (after cleaning coffee grounds off the counter and floor for eternity). This OXO Brew Compact Cold Brew Coffee Maker does make an excellent cold brew. The end result makes a concentrate that would ultimately fill about five Starbucks Venti cold brew coffees (this from a Starbucks barista, if that gives you any reference point). The brew is smooth, and very, very good. It rivals anything from a boutique coffee bar, provided you use reasonably good coffee in the first place (we used stuff from our local coffee company). And, what the heck, here's the recipe the barista uses to sort of recreate a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew: dilute coffee (about 1/5 of the concentrate) using the 1:2 ratio of coffee to water. Add a teaspoon of sugar. Add these to a cup filled halfway with ice. In a separate container, mix 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup with 2 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream and pour on top to get a marbled effect!

  • Works really really well. I’m not sure why the rating isn’t higher – it’s easy to assemble and I’d say fool proof. The coffee tastes great and I plan on experimenting with Guinness. Good value for the price, if you’re interested in making draft coffee this is the perfect product. I knew nothing about it and now I have great tasting coffee every day. My only complaint is I wish it could store more coffee. You can only put 48oz in there even though it holds 64oz. Don’t try putting more in, it looks like people in the reviews had bad experiences when they did that and that’s their own fault, not the product’s fault.

  • I am very pleased with the quality, price, beauty of this product. It is definitely worth buying!

The idea of this coffee maker is good, no doubt ... Combine a morning coffee maker with the quick cup in the afternoon. Great ! The implementation is very losuy though, I wonder if these engineers who created this actually ever used it, cuz if they have they would have redesigned it. We had the Burgrinder machine before this and we loved it ... Keep filling beans ... All u do is cleaning filter and add water ... Every 2 month you clean the grinder and you are great. Not with this machine though ... So let me start with the sound ... When u turn this thing on to make coffee it is as loud a a tsunami warn system, ridiculous ... The grinding system is somewhat something of a copy of a magic bullet or so ... Downfalls are that you don't know how many beans you need to make the perfect cup for the water you put into it ... Once the beans are filled and you didn't spill half of them cuz to put them in is hard, you need to use two hands to get the grinder into the machine ... Quite tight ... Once u made coffee, you have to clean everything out and dry it very well. Cuz if it is wet, the beans will get stuck in the grinder cup and only half come out to the filter ... As you can see on the picture with the clear plastic cup, 1 tea spoon of coffee is wasted every time u make coffee ... It gets stuck in the badly designed grinder ... What a waste ... Again did you ever test this ??? At home ??? So overall the cleaning is a total PITA and needs to happen the night before so it totally dries up, see picture ... And the setup is difficult and you never know if you have enough coffee beans for the water u put into it ... And Better be careful when inserting the full grinder into the machine as it is super tight ... Use two hands or one day you will drop it and then you have to get the beans out which is almost impossible. Trust me, did it ... Now after 3 month the heating plate where the pot stays on is pealing off the black material and it looks silly ... So if we could, I would return the entire machine and get another one ... don't buy it you are going to hate it ... Cuisinart, next time sent it to me first I give you the feedback you need ... Do not buy it ... At one point you are so annoyed you will stop making coffee ... It is just too much work. Very sad as the idea is very good ... If the machine had the Burgrinder mechanism of the other one ... I'd send these out as gifts ... If I don't clean out the stuff at night and dry it my wife doesn't even make coffee with it any more ... She just uses the single cup, it is truly a lot of work and annoying. I think if they would have had the engineer take this home for a couple of weeks to test it, he would have come to work with Starbucks coffee ... And start redesigning this machine ... Sad

It's a good french press, there's nothing wrong with it, except for the fact that it's absolutely not four cups LOL. This is probably enough for a 16 oz mug if you plan on putting milk or creamer in it to bring it up to 16 oz. But it is by no means four cups. I have it side-by-side with my two cup measuring cup so you can see the difference. It's also on me that I didn't really read through all the reviews or look at the measurements in the photos that it's only 6 in tall, but they should at least change the name to say that it's only 12 oz. But otherwise, I mean, it's fine. It gets the job done. You'll just have to take more time to make multiple cups if that's what you were looking for.

  • This works perfectly for my Kitchen Aid mixer! Glides easily, so no more tugging this heavy thing across the counter.

  • My husband and I have used a Keurig for years. We were contemplating a Keurig duo, however, saw this machine “used - good” for only $45. We figured we would give it a try even though there is not a coffee pod option. I am SO glad we did. The brew is delicious and I love how we have full control over the strength of brew. It’s quick, the coffee is hot, and it looks beautiful in our kitchen. Worth the buy and transition from single use pods!

  • Replaced an older model. Arrived perfectly packaged and undamaged box. However slot on hinge to open the water tank door was broken. . Contacted Bella’s customer service. They said it couldn’t be returned if box had been opened. There were no broken plastic pieces in the box so it was not broken during shipping or delivery. Also unlike the older model it does not shut off automatically. I thought I could live with the broken hinge but no automatic shut off could be dangerous. Very disappointed

What I like about the coffee press is that the coffee comes out so rich! It is also very easy to clean.

This is a great product. Easy to use easy to store. The coffee grounds come through the filter ever so slightly as you can see in my picture.

  • I really love being able to dispense fresh hot coffee one handed while I’m consoling my screaming babies HOWEVER I don’t love that my counter also enjoys a cup of coffee every single morning. While coffee does pour nicely into my mug it also pours nicely down the front of the coffee maker and into the drip pan. No big deal, right? It would be no big deal if it wasn’t leaking so badly that it overflows onto the counter. It’s done this since first use and Hamilton Beach’s advice was “it’s got coffee build up. you should clean it” ARe YoU SuGGEstiNg I’m DUMB? did it not come to me clean?? But alas I cleaned it anyway and it still leaked everywhere. So they’ve sent me a new one that does the exact same thing. Anyone want two junk coffee makers?
