  • I needed something easy to clean for use in the Rv. It is easy to clean but has a bunch of moving parts. I left the funnel behind, and the spatula. I pour water from a pan or large measuring cup and don’t see the funnel as a necessity. I use a fork to stir. But when I put in the filter, coffee and add water to the press over my cup, it runs right through! After several very weak cups of coffee I decided to fill it upside down. I set the plunger level at 3 cups, add coffee, fill with water, stir, then put the filter and cover on. I let it brew for a minute or 2 and get the richer brew that I prefer. As long as the plunger continues to work, my method should work. When camping, water is limited so the easy cleaning saves on rinsing and dealing with messy grounds.

  • Makes a delicious cup of coffee! I used to have a Keurig, and it constantly had problems. I bought this coffee maker, and I made the best choice. I have had this coffee maker 6 months, and have not had a single issue yet. It brews quickly, and the water filter makes the coffee taste absolutely delicious. Best cup of coffee you can make at home. Works with all kinds of KCups. Extremely easy to clean. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Check the pictures carefully, no matter how ever we wash it, I am unable to get rid of the spots. Don’t tell me that I need to wash it different. I am Indian and I sure that I know how to wash it. It’s waste of my money.

  • Love this! I prefer cold coffee, and this makes it SOOOOO much easier to make cold brew. I used to use a mason jar and a cheese cloth. This makes that process a breeze! I can have my own coffee for the whole week! Easy to clean. So easy to use! I just love it.

The coffee is great, but the "added features" are a bit ridiculous! The directions specifically say to unplug the unit when not in use. So the clock only works while brewing! Same for the other features, like "auto on" -- they literally cannot work if you follow the manual's direction to unplug when not in use. So don't buy on the basis of those features -- but the coffee is great!

Love it. I went from daily Starbucks visits to this and I’m obsessed. The concentrate only lasts me (one person household) a week. I don’t know my ratio to concentrate coffee vs cream vs water but I do love a strong cup. I grind Starbucks whole beans coarsely, use distilled water, leave in fridge 24 Hours, then give my bougainvillea the used grounds. It’s nice to have a QUICK and DELICOUS cup of coffee in the morning. Quality is top notch. The glass dispenser is heavy but compact enough to make it unobtrusive in your fridge. I’d buy again and again.

  • I’ve been a Keurig customer for years, but after having to replace the machine every 2 years or less, I decided to give another brand a try. My main reasons for purchasing this Hamilton Beach 5 in 1? The versatility, sleek space saving design, and the reviews. I love that I can use k-cups or brew a full pot!! The water reservoir is slim, but holds up to 12 cups/60 oz. The water reservoir can be changed to use it on the side or the back of the machine, depending on your space, and no tools are required. Just follow the steps. It takes about 2 minutes or less to brew a k-cup, either hot or iced, and the coffee is good! You can select regular or bold brew and you can brew up to 14 ounces!! The carafe is tucked away on the side, it brews a full pot in maybe 15-20 minutes, it’s hot, and the warmer stays on for 2 hours after the brew cycle with an automatic shut off. Coffee can be regular or bold brew and it has a programmable timer to be ready when you wake up. Again, the coffee is GOOD!! The design is space saving genius, the display face shows the time, and is pretty easy to navigate yourself or read the directions which are easy to follow and understand. The needles to poke through the k-cups are slightly larger than the Keurig’s I’ve owned but I’ve had no issues with unwanted coffee grounds, outside of the norm. Now to the thing that took away a star… the cup holder plate thing. I don’t like it. It doesn’t snap in, it just sits there which feels sort of clumsy. I like bigger, rounder cups and they don’t feel secure sitting on the holder. The larger cups will fit on it, but I personally think a larger base with a snap in/out feature would be wise and definitely earn its 5 star glory. You get a great looking coffee maker perfect for small spaces with the versatility and functionality many coffee drinkers need at a very reasonable price point. I’m so happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend!! I did buy the extended warranty, but this also comes with a manufacturer’s limited warranty too. I find it doesn’t hurt to spend a few extra bucks up front to cover the whole thing for (hopefully) years to come.

  • I am a daily, multi-cup coffee drinker and I love my Keurig K-Elite! It is great for so many different things because of the amount of cup size options! It also has an "iced" feature which I use at least once a day! You fill the cup with ice first, and then it will dispense the perfect amount of coffee to balance the ice. The water reservoir is a really good size compared to other Keurig styles I've used. I drink coffee all throughout the day and I can get about 2 full days before I have to refill it, which is super simple to do anyway. It also has a "strong" feature too for those that like a bolder blend. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in buying a single cup coffee maker!

  • Got this machine for 129$. It appeared to have been operated and returned. Coffee samples came in a plastic bag instead of the sample box. With that being said it looked brand new and works perfectly.

  • I use “8 O’clock” coffee beans and my husband uses the McCaffe ground coffee so we both can have our coffee just the way we like it, REVISED! Only lasted about 6 months, I loved it but couldn’t get company to stand behind it on anyway

I have found this ice tea maker to be very easy to use, and it is so tasty as it is freshly brewed. Just make sure you have some ice stocked up in your freezer.

  • I wouldn’t say this product was used. Or maybe it was. However it looks like a gravel residue is on the bottom of the inside of this jar. I just opened it from the package. The dusty residue was all over. My husband tried to get me to just wash it. But I couldn’t get over it and it would bother me.

Update 11/20/2019: It's been around 10 months since I updated my review, and during those months I've probably used my pour over for about 4-5 of those months at work for 1-2 pots a day. I'm sad to say that now instead of having an issue with the Carafe, it's the filter now. The thinner strainer film has come loose from the bottom of the filter. Second one this has happened to now, the first one happened within a month or so of getting the replacement filter. Maybe I've been cleaning it wrong, and as a result, have been damaging it on my own. However I think I've now proven to myself that I'll either need a silicone, plastic, or paper one. I just can't have nice things. :] Update 01/03/2019: Fantastic customer service. I was contacted Christmas Eve of last year by the company's founder, wanting to know how he could make it right. Within a week, I had a replacement WHOLE CARAFE WITH FILTER sent to my house at no charge. I will absolutely be continuing to purchase products from Coffee Gator! First, I love this pour over. Great tasting coffee, every time. My sticking point is the carafe is less durable than wet tissue paper. I was washing the inside of it out with a brush and noticed that my brush was sticking through the bottom of the carafe. Might not have noticed it was broken if not for that. No noise, no shatter. Just a broken carafe and a broken heart. If you want a nice pour over filter for a similar size and shape carafe, get this one, but due to the fragility of this carafe I can’t recommend this.

  • In my research of this coffee pot, it was mentioned the workmanship quality was not great. As you can see from the picture the paint is flaking off in less than 2 years. Of course the paint job does not affect its ability to keep the coffee hotter than if the pot had been glass. So I enjoy my hot coffee without looking too closely at the pot itself.
