I love my little French press; it’s perfect for when you want a cup or so and not a full pot. I will say though that the packaging it came in was already ripped apart, very strange since the press inside was not damaged.

  • I had an expensive Nostalgia brand coffee maker that looked beautiful and matched all my other 3 star expensive Nostalgia appliances that don't work great, but it only lasted a few months and never worked right anyway. So I found this very basic coffee maker and the color is pretty close to my Nostalgia crap so I ordered it. Then I started getting messages that it was delayed due to being out of stock. So I tried to cancel the order but it wouldn't let me. Called coffeemakers.us.com and they assured me they canceled it for me. Oddly, they were still listed on coffeemakers.us.com with a fairly quick delivery date, so out of curiosity, I ordered another and it arrived as scheduled. The first one still shows as ordered and is supposed to arrive tomorrow! Pretty strange. I took a star off due to this stupid situation and will have to make a trip to UPS to return the first order if it does indeed arrive. The inconvenience does not seem fair as this situation was a couple months long. I wasn't impatient, it was just ridiculous. Out of stock? No it wasn't since when I ordered it again it came in a timely manner. I don't like companies that lie to me and I don't need 2 coffee makers and I don't want to drive to UPS for THEIR screw up. I should take off another star.

This French press makes a nice pot of coffee, but I am disappointed to see that the enamel is wearing off, a short month after I've purchased it. And I'm not using it hard, just a few times per week. That's not

Makes great coffee without question. Research said that some have owned these 20 years without issues and that many service parts were available. Well, after 5 years the water reservior is cracking under the stainless transfer arm as a result of heat cycling (this coffee maker gets used everyday). I wrote customer service about a replacement tank and was told that I had to send in to them on my dime and that the repair would cost $99.00. They stated that the cause was "The cracks are characteristic of heat damage due to a slight blockage" This of course is a bunch of Malarky. The design is deficient for 5 years of usage in the case of the tank being exposed to the heated water passing over it by design. This is a very expensive coffee maker and I did expect more. Would have been happy to buy a replacement tank from them and do the work myself (this is not a complicated device). I did find a parts source in Europe that with shipping will still be less than half the cost of sending it to them.

  • Too big but works just fine.

  • I love it! Beautiful, classy, elegant! My next treat to myself will be the Mixer!

Enjoyed the idea of having the ability to close the spout on this model, but realized that the design is rather clunky and difficult to clean. Also the glass cracked within a month of my purchase. Since it's the model with the separate spout, finding a replacement is difficult. Tempted to just buy a completely different model, instead of a replacement glass.

I love this small magic machine..yes I call it magic machine coz now I don't have to get up early in the morning to head to the kitchen and make coffee ;). I gifted this to my husband for his bday... and he loves it... I was a bit confused earlier after reading the reviews of whether to buy or not..but I gave it a try. The coffee dosnt smell like plastic but it tastes amazing. I cudnt find this in Wal-Mart so thanks a ton coffeemakers.us.com for selling this cute lil thing.

This was for my husband but it smelled and looked great and he said it was excellent! He had the decaf espresso. We have an old Mr Coffee (honestly for the price it’s been a beast for years) but we wanted something for the travel trailer. Something quieter (check!) one with pods so we wouldn’t have to deal with the mess of packing grounds (check!) and one that would foam the milk itself (check!).. as a bonus this one doesn’t suck up the milk into any parts/mechanism like our other one does, so we don’t have to worry about milk getting gross up in there where we can’t see or manually clean. All around 10/10
