This is an attractive and full function coffee maker. I especially like that it beeps when the brewing cycle is complete so I don't have to constantly check on progress. Pros: -Attractive, modern looking design with stainless steel accents -Clear, bright, easy to read display -Large 14 cup capacity -Reusable filter included (no paper filters needed) -Auto pause function allows filling a cup during brewing process -Selectable brew strength -Ice coffee function -Internal cord storage allows selection of just the right cord length so extra cord is not in the way on countertop -Beep identifies when brew cycle is complete -Can be programmed so coffee is brewed at a specific time -Replaceable water filter includes Cons: -Due to the many functions the programing is not particularly intuitive but he included quick start instructions and full manual provide clear instructions for setting clock, timer and other programming. -Larger footprint to accommodate 14 cup capacity. Important to ensure countertop/cabinet clearance for specific application.

  • It is definitely a home use machine it does tend to drip a little bit, bit that's not a big deal. The steamer is a little weak but it definitely dishes out good lattes and mochas 😊

The machine is beautiful and even though I thought it might be too large on the counter it is not. It just looks like we love our coffee. I have plenty of space under the cabinet. There are several custom setting that included water hardness (there is a test strip included), bloom time, coffee strength and even coffee filter type. I can use cone filters, flat bottom filters or the included reusable gold mesh filter. I have only recently become interested in pour over coffee and there is a conversion kit available on the Breville website for $35 dollars. The coffee brewed is wonderful and there is a "Gold Brew" setting that meets the Specialty Coffee Association standards. There are two things that could be an issue for some users. There is not way to turn back on the hot plate after it automatically shuts off and no mention of how long the heating plate stays on after brewing anywhere in the manual. The second issue is the ball stopper on the filter basket. If you turn on the coffee maker without the carafe lid being on the pot the water could overflow from the basket. The lid pushes up on the stopper to allow the water to fall into the pot. The drip stopper is a feature I tend to like because I can pull the carafe out while it is still brewing to get a quick cup before it finishes if I am in a hurry.

Really, seriously, this thing is easy, inexpensive, and does its job well. In the past I’ve had: coffee machine (takes up too much space and gets funky inside, even with cleaning); French press: thought I’d use it a lot, but despite trying many techniques, I still have grounds in my coffee (yes, including coarse grind), and I don’t love the cleanup; current compact Keurig - I know I know don’t hate - with a pain disorder sometimes you just need something that takes 0 energy, and the pods are improving; and now this little guy. I also considered a Chemex (slow drip), but it seemed to require too much supervision (I’m tired, ok). I’m pet sitting and don’t have my keurig machine, so I brought this, and am on my second day using it. Couldn’t be simpler - 1. Boil water 2. Put filter in white bottom part, scoop ground coffee into filter 3. Put reservoir (clear part) on top of the white bottom part, then place onto any cup 4. Pour boiling water into the reservoir 5. Wait about a minute or two, until all water is drained into your cup, and DONE. Excellent coffee in your mug. The pieces fit together gently, no snap. You can use it with almost any mug, because the water drains through a small hole under the filter. It doesn’t need to fit securely, you just place it on top. Cleanup is simple - just throw away the filter and rinse if you would like to. I think I’ll be using this and my Keurig on alternate days.

  • I do love how beautiful and unique it is. The cost is so much better than the real ones, that cost over 20k! I'm still experimenting on how to make the coffee not so weak. I'm not sure if I need to make my grinds finer or just stir it once the water is in the glass carafe. So for now I and 1 shot of espresso from our Breville. You will wait for well over 10 minutes for the water to boil. Just be patient. I hope the company offers replacement parts in case pieces fail or break.

  • A piece of junk don’t waist your money nothing like the picture . The plastic is so cheap

I have the Jetboil Flash and bought the original French press accessory for making coffee on the go and giving my Jetboil yet another purpose than just water for camping meals or some other cooking. The original press didn't have the silicone ring as you see in my photo and perhaps it was just my original model that seemed a little warped but the biggest issue I had was that it wasn't completed effective at pressing and trapping all grounds so you might end up with a little bit of cowboy coffee. That is where this new press appears to be a perfect improvement! I have had no issues using it and not end up with grounds in my finished cup of coffee. Other than the press itself, the collapsible pole appears the same and mounts right through the lid of the Jetboil Flash so you can easily press and even enjoy the coffee from the Jetboil or pour it into a mug. With this new improvement the only thing that might be more difficult is a worthwhile tradeoff in my opinion. And that's if you like to store all your accessories in the Jetboil itself, I'd think you want to push the press all the way down and unscrew the pole for pressing but then would have to use the pole to screw it back in and pull it out when needed since it's such a snug fit around the cylinder now. The original press was easy to drop in and shake out but seems to be the necessary tradeoff for keeping your coffee ground-free in your cup. You may want to shop around as prices seem to vary a bit on this. For reference I paid $10 for the original press in 2019 from an outdoor recreation store and see they sell the improved model for $18 where I see on coffeemakers.us.com its quite a bit more currently.

It’s a bit smaller than I expected it’s about half the size of a single serve keurig not bad it does save space but the cookie jar or coffee holder is as big as the coffee maker but still worth it

  • I love this coffee brewer! As someone who usually buys coffee everyday before work this has been a real money saver. It allows for both single serve k-cups or use of the coffee pot for more cups (up to ten cups). I ordered the brewer that comes with the steel coffee pot. After the coffee is brewed the pot doesn’t feel hot to touch on the outside but keeps the coffee warm for a few hours. I took a few minutes to read the set up instructions which are easy to follow. The timer is easy to set up and I love having my coffee ready by the time I wake up. I’ve only had it a few months and so far the brewer works great and have not had any issues with the parts. I will update this review if any issues pop up. I highly recommend it! I also purchased the gold reusable coffee filter so that I don’t have to use the paper filters and so far the coffee has tasted great.

  • Lasted about 6 months and then cracked

  • I bought a coffee pot from you a few months ago, and after just a short time, the glass top started coming loose. I had to hold it in place every time I used it. Two months later, it fell off and broke. I filed a complaint, and you sent me a replacement part that was different from the original. A few months later, the connection between the lid and the pot broke on its own while I was pouring tea, even though the pot wasn’t damaged. I didn’t complain at that time as it wasn’t affecting my daily use. However, when my husband used it for the first time, he didn’t know about the problem. While pouring tea, the lid fell off, and the glass top shattered when it hit the counter. I filed another complaint, but since the warranty had expired, I was told I had to buy a new part, which I didn’t do. I don’t recommend this product as it has caused a lot of trouble.

  • True to many other reviews I've seen, it splatters a bit, you'll definitely benefit from remembering to raise the cup up to the spout. It is a very fast brew cycle, so I appreciate that. My biggest complaint is that the rubber gasket around the top needle is SO THICK and high-profile that the rubber utterly destroys the top of a K cup, sometimes resulting in grounds in your cup and in the k cup attachment. Everything on the machine is assembled and seated correctly, but this gasket just busts a wide hole through the top of the k cup. I'm probably going to spend a few dollars and order a few different needle gaskets for other models, to see if I can find any that are lower profile and will sit firmly but more flush against the top of the pod. Meanwhile, I've just been catching the grounds that bubble up over the top of the k cup in the mesh basket attachment so I don't have to drink grit.

  • Makes most excellent coffee. Better than our home maker.
