I was looking for a small coffee maker which does not require the use of a paper filter. This coffee maker is perfect, it does not overflow, the coffee tastes great (I’ve always had literally the same Starbucks coffee and I am positive it’s as good as it can get), and there’s nothing I’ve had to complain about! Watch the video I took when I used this cofee maker for the first time. The video covers the most important part- it shows if the permanent filter does it’s job or not!
Great product, fits easily on my kitchen counter. Don't have to wait very long for the machine to heat up if I keep it plugged in, love the touch screen feature, and the style of the brewer itself. Quality of the coffee that comes out is great, and I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.
If I could give this coffee pot negative stars, it’s be -5. Our last coffee pot gave out after 5 years and I desperately grabbed the first coffee pot at the local small town hardware store until we could shop for one of our liking. (We live on an island in Alaska without access to big stores). Every single morning it takes about an hour to brew our coffee... it spits and sputters, shoots grounds everywhere, doesn’t drain well, and is a nightmare. I’d like to just throw it out the window and burn it for the satisfaction.
One great thing is you can use it for cold brew but also drinks but the issue with other drinks is that there's a filter before it comes out of the spout so if the drink has settlements- it will clog it. I made a cocktail with guava necter and the juice itself is thicker and so it didn't work very well. Otherwise with clear liquids this is amazing. The options are wide from fruit infused water, tea, and coffee. It's super nice and I love the glass. Comes with a brush to help you clean it. I honestly love this and recommend it!
Large all-in-one machine with very small carafe. It says cups, but the cups would have to be very small. Makes about 1.5-2 cups of my favorite size cup. The quality doesn’t feel like a $300 machine. I do like that the grinder is part of the machine, nice streamlined look on my counter. I also like that it’s programmable for the time and amount of coffee you want, grind size too. I think at a lower price point for a household that doesn't drink a lot of coffee, it would make sense.
Love the design, love that it stays hot for hours without shutting off in an hour, makes hot hot coffee just like how I love it, however percolating depends on how much coffee you’re making. If it’s 4 cupa then it’ll perc for 3-4min, if it’s 12 cups which is the max, then it’ll perc for 8-9 min. Which makes coffee very weak IMO. Yes, I’ve timed it. Really wanted to love this product because of the good reviews. I’ve yet to find an electric percolator that continues to perc or at least percs until you turn it off or has a manual timer for you to set for stopping. It’s not how fast I get my coffee, it’s the quality of the coffee I’m willing to wait for. Back to my trustee stovetop percolator I guess. Will be returning the product.
Muy contento con el producto, supero totalmente mis expectativas..
This French press oozes quality and beauty. I was amazed how well the Lagoon Blue press looked out of the box. This is one of only a handful of kitchen items I will leave out purely for its aesthetics. Coming from glass French Press’s this this is like a tank. The construction is solid on every piece. From the handle to the plunger and lid everything fits together tight and precise. Even the plungers screen is better than any I have used. Their description is spot on when they say you will not get any grinds in your coffee. After more than 10 uses I have not had any grinds get past the screen. The No Drip spout has poured without any issues and the double wall design has helped to keep the coffee at a constant temperature during brewing. I have not had a single issue with the French Press and am greatly impressed with not only its looks but its quality.
I have always liked percolator coffee, but lately I could only get it by going camping. Starbucks and Tim Hortons can't come close. (It's the treated water they use). This is a quality pot and should last a few years with proper care. Also be sure to get a medium course grind for your coffee. I bought a good grinder and do my own, it's a lot fresher that way.
Makes a good pitcher of cold brew in 20 minutes. No bitter taste because it doesn't use heat. Used 2+ years 2-3 times a month with no problems.
I like this French press but the top knob broke off after one week of using it so disappointed
Been making large cups of coffee daily for 7 months. It works great but I went to put the filter in today and it exploded all over my kitchen.
This machine is quick and easy to use for brewing and frothing. Be sure to check the drip tray after each use; it catches overflow, especially after steaming
Great working french press! I will say, i'm not a coffee aficionado so I don't require anything fancy, I was just looking for something to work. One worry I had when choosing this product was being unsure if there was any plastic that would touch the inside, and I can confirm that there is not! yay! the glass craft sits inside of the white outer shell. Bonus plus it matches the white theme I've got going on in the kitchen. Enjoy!
Hands down, best coffee ever!
