A picture is worth a thousand words….look at that! High quality creamy delicious coffee made in seconds right at the comfort of my home.
I’m not sure if the product or the carrier issue, but it’s broken apart when I receive it.
works great but after 8 months of use 3 times a week the glass pot broke up at the top. I had made 10 cups and it broke. Hopefully they will replace it but somehow I doubt it. Would be five but the glass pot breaking where the glass and upper handle join is is just bad.
My new bestie lol loveeeee this perfect size just for me
Easy to use easy to clean. Can easily make a pot or one cup.
We've been using this for just under a year and it's been awesome to have. Beats using a single serve when you drink a lot of coffee! In the picture the smaller filter is a 8-12 cup, larger filter is the 12 cup. Works so much better using the 12 cup filter, doesn't slide at all. The 10 cup holds the coffee at a drinkable temperature for us for quite some time. Super easy to clean. Definitely recommend if you enjoy your pour-over coffee.
I love it, it’s beautiful, it works great. Matches my mom’s retro kitchen. HOWEVER, I marked it as a gift and it was shipped in a box that had the brand and item name on it. Like why??? My mom happened to get the door today and got her Christmas gift spoiled, I’m so bummed about it.
I’m a big fan of siphon brewers, though I prefer the more antiquated term “vacuum brewer.” Basically, any siphon brewer is going to deliver exceptional coffee, so in that respect this brewer is on par with it’s contemporaries. The principal problem with this brewer is the gasket. Mine did not fit properly. Whenever I would try to seat the upper chamber to the pot, it would pop back out. Don’t think I didn’t try many different ways, such as pushing and twisting (what YAMA recommends) before giving up. The only method that kind of worked was to thoroughly try the gasket and the neck of the pot with a towel then immediately push the two pieces together, and even then it would pop apart about half the time during the brewing process, effectively ruining the coffee, because the most flavor is injected into the pot during the final few seconds of siphoning, when it pulls the excess water out of the wet grounds at the bottom of the upper chamber. The problem was caused by the flange on the side of the gasket not being matched to the bulge in the neck of the pot. It didn’t go down far enough to pass the bulge so instead of sealing, the configuration was helping to push the upper chamber back out. My solution was nerve wracking (because it’s not possible to purchase replacement gaskets at this time) but effective. Using a sharp utility knife, and working in two stages, I carefully sliced the upper flanges off the gasket (see photos). Once I did this, I was able to push the upper into the lower far enough that I passed the bulge in the neck of the pot and FINALLY achieved a reliable seal. Having done this, the brewer now works fine. I shouldn’t have had to do this, though.
We love our new percolator coffee maker! Super easy to use and fairly quick to brew. We also love that our coffee gets really hot and no more plastic kcups in the trash. It’s also much cheaper to buy beans or ground coffee too!
This is our third coffee maker in as many years bc we just couldn’t find the right one for us until I tried using this one at my parents house while visiting. So I bought one in hopes to save money and stop going to Dunkin everyday for coffee (spending $10+ each time). I have to say it was the best investment I’ve made in a long time that has already paid for itself. Everyday I make myself and my husband one of these fancy coffees and they come out better than Starbucks and Dunkin. I love that I can make my own cold foam with the frother and have so much fun experimenting with different flavors. We mainly use the specialty brew setting and then a whole pot for my husband to bring to work as he works overnight. The coffee is so smooth and doesn’t taste burnt like it does with some coffee makers that we have had. I like that I can also use it to heat water up for baby bottles and tea without it making the water taste like coffee. I also love that it came with a reusable filter and didn’t realize that until after I got some disposable ones. If you’re like me and love the fancy crafted coffees from coffee shops but are tired of spending over $5 on one you definitely need to give this maker a try. Just get some flavored coffee syrups or do what I did when I first started and just used chocolate syrup for chocolate milk. You won’t be disappointed.
The fact that I can make one cup with a po or freshly ground for the pod insert is wonderful. Then when I need a large volume, I can brew a pot full. And I really LOVE the stainless steel carafe. It looks better than the glass carafe, in my opinion.
This is exactly what I was wanting. It’s simple, easy to clean, and makes great coffee.
We really enjoy the attached keurig a most welcome addition!!
I was so excited to get it. But it was broken
