  • Adorable coffee maker fits anywhere in your kitchen or pantry if you don’t want to have it out. Coffee tastes better for some reason maybe because it’s so cute . Great quality and makes fast for non morning people

  • My wife and I don't drink coffee but we have a lake house and whenever we have guests to it, they always do drink coffee. We had an old coffee maker that kind of died. We wanted a basic no frills coffee maker for our guests. this is it. It only has one button - on/off. The carafe is about half the size of a normal maker. It is little and basic but the price also reflects that. If you don't drink much coffee this may be the one for you.

Pros: I like that I no longer have to pour my coffee and worry about making a mess. I like the overall size /footprint. It’s not any bigger than a normal size 12/14 cup coffee maker. Coffee is hot and has timer to set how long you would like it to stay on before turning off. 24 hr timer to let you brew when ever you want a cup. Negative: #1) cup are should be taller so it would make viewing your coffee area easier while you fill it. The light doesn’t help if you have a normal size 8oz coffee cup setting under it. #2) charcoal filter why even have it? It set above the drain that the water is sucked through and does not have the water go through it but around It. Why even have it? Overall review is great and I give it 5 stars. I found this model when I was searching the internet and was reading reviews from consumers reports. They gave this coffee maker a very high review and I can see why. We all want a coffee maker that brews a nicely cup of coffee and keeps it warm for us. This does that with out all the bells and whistles of the $300-400 coffee makers. Trust me you wouldn’t be disappointed when buying this coffee maker.

  • I purchased both of these pots at the same time (Keurig here on coffeemakers.us.com and the FlexBrew from our local big-box store). Here is my analysis: Things these two share in common: * They make great coffee! * They both make a carafe or a single serving with a K-cup or with your own grounds in a k-cup adapter. * They both make a carafe with up to 12 cups, or 60 oz (you lose some fluid in the brew process, achieving more like 56 to 57 oz). * They are both programmable for an auto-brew. * They both have an option for strong/bold coffee and the option applies to both the carafe and the single-serving side. Keurig K-Duo Plus pros: * Attractive. * Small footprint good for smaller kitchens. * Has a reservoir to hold water for multiple cups. * Comes with a thermal carafe. * Comes with a gold filter and water filter. * Has easy-to-read push buttons for size options. * Carafe and single cup options come out of the same spout - less cleaning involved. * Fast brew process. * Little to no steam escaping the top, so it seems safe to place under cabinets. And because of the separate removable reservoir, it can be used just fine beneath cabinets without pulling it out to fill. Keurig K-Duo Plus cons: * Expensive. * Size options limited. For a carafe, you can choose 6, 8, 10, or 12 cups. For a single cup, you have the same choices (in ounces). There are no in-between sizes, and the maximum K-cup size you can make is 12 oz. * Coffee filter basket is a bit hard to pull out and push back in. * Gold filter does not have a handle. * To use a "My K-cup" adapter with your own grounds requires fully pulling out the coffee basket, reaching up inside, and popping out the piece that punctures the K-cup. So switching between K-cups and your own grounds for a single brew is super cumbersome. * Does not include a "My K-cup" adapter for your own grounds. That must be purchased separately. * Height is quite tall and it can be difficult to see the button controls if your cabinets are low or cast a shadow. Could be difficult to insert a K-cup for some. Hamilton Beach FlexBrew pros: * MUCH more affordable. * Less buttons to push as water output is based upon how much water you put in at the time of brewing. * Single serving side will do up to 14 ounces. * Single serving size is dependent upon how much water you put in, thus making the size more customizable - so you can do a small espresso cup, for example, with only 4 ounces. * Carafe sizes are also customizable up to 12 cups, based upon how much water your put in. * Slightly shorter than the Keurig. * Includes a mesh filter for the single-serving side, for using your own grounds. * Storage for the single-serving mesh filter is beneath the single-serving drip tray which is quite handy. * Coffee is really hot, so you can add liquid creamer and not feel like you have to microwave it. Hamilton FlexBrew cons: * Not as attractive as the Keurig. Bulkier. * Does NOT include a gold filter. That must be purchased separately. * Does not have a reservoir that stays filled and ready to go. It must be filled each time you brew. * Takes longer to brew than the Keurig. * Two separate spouts for carafe and for single serving. Therefore, two spouts that need cleaning/descaling. * No thermal carafe included (They have that as another model, but it only does 10 cups). * More difficult to fill the reservoirs since they are at the back of the machine. If placing this beneath cabinets, one would probably need to pull the machine out when using in order to reach and fill the reservoirs. Final decision: in the end, I went for the FlexBrew, as I decided I preferred the ability to make up to 14 ounces on the single-serving side, so it fully fills my cup. While the instructions say not to exceed 10 ounces for actual K-cups, I have been putting in 14 ounces, selecting the bold brew, and it seems to work just fine. I also like that it's easy to switch between K-cups and using your own grounds on the single-serving side. Plus, there's storage for the mesh filter right on the pot, so I don't have to go searching for the accessory. The better price tag is a big factor too, of course. I did end up buying a gold filter and a separate thermal carafe for those days when needed, although we usually drink the full carafe pretty quickly. Even with the purchase of the thermal carafe and gold filter, the price tag on this is still significantly less than the Keurig. I didn't need to place this beneath a cabinet, so that issue wasn't significant for me. If you need yours beneath a cabinet, I would probably recommend the Keurig.

  • I really wanted this to work well, I suppose it would be OK for travel. It charges up quick and is very compact for travel use. The main issue, is the water does not get hot enough. There is an option to use heated water which can be hotter than the machine will make, but still not hot enough. The machine worked ok with the small Nespresso pods, but would not puncture the larger pods, I tried 4 times and decided to stop wasting them, it just made a mess. This could be a great machine, if the machine would get hotter and puncture the pods correctly. Again, it did work with the small/original pods. Will work in a pinch, but I was not satisfied with the results. I could also use ground coffee in it, but that is never strong enough to be espresso.

  • Ok, while the pot itself is nice, the design was poorly done, could not possibly have been tested. The lid of the pot itself overlaps the glass rim, and as a result when the hot coffee leaves condensation on the lid and you pour coffee water runs all over from under the lid. UPDATE! Dropping this to one star...the silver coating is flaking off now. This pot is barely over a month old! I wish I could get my money back.

The unit looks elegant out of the box. Making coffee is pretty straight forward and the screen(s) are easy to clean. Not sure how long coffee stays hot since I usually drink immediately. Since it's all metal, it does make loud "clanking" sounds as you handle it (not great first thing in the morning). HOWEVER, this morning, I noticed that the paint was flaking off on both the top and bottom. It's only been used to make coffee, always washed by hand. The paint on the top came off without any effort, just running my finger across. The bottom paint came off within a few days. Just didn't notice until recently. The warranty is, of course, only 30 days, so they won't accept a return. So here it sits, looking ugly. Little to recommend it so avoid.

Payday wasn't for another week and I had other priorities. Buying a fancy single cup coffee maker for my personal use at the office was not on the list. I cruised around the coffee makers on coffeemakers.us.com and happily stumbled across this. It's the neatest thing. Just pour hot water over it and voila! you have a yummy cup of coffee. It even came with a couple #2 filters. It's lightweight, cheap and works great. I recommend it for folks working in offices where you don't want a clunky coffee machine at your desk. And now to post a picture of it.

  • Ready light, glass top, water level ,and easy plug in . BUT MAKES TOO MUCH STEAM!!!

Well packaged and arrived without any damages or scratches. I drink coffee everyday and I have drip coffee machine, hand drip kit and espresso machine. I thought this Glass Pour Over Coffee Maker Kit is very unique way of making coffee. I like the fact it does not require the paper/disposable filters. Also, they look very nice and modern for my kitchen. It was easy set up. Per their instructions, I grinded my coffee to fine particles. After pouring the hot water, Coffee drips about 5-7 minutes. The coffee taste very smooth. Easy to wash. I removed one star cause when I drink coffee there is a bit of residue of coffee grounds at the bottom.

When my coffee maker showed signs of failing- I immediately began searching for its replacement. After reading multiple articles on Coffee Expert’s top SCAA Gold coffee makers. I was very close to getting the Moccamaster but didn’t like the open glass carafe, the straight arm shower mechanism or the hot plate. So, I decided to go with the Breville Precision, since it was consistently on all the lists. Why I chose it: 1- Thermal Carafe 2- Customized Bloom Setting 3- Large 12 Cup (60oz) Capacity 4- Adjustable Coffee Brew Settings The Breville Precision did not disappoint! So far (2.5 weeks in), I use the Gold setting, which makes a delicious cup/pot of coffee. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee HOT for hours. The first day we used it, I made a pot at 7am, my son went to make a single cup of coffee at 2:30pm. He went to empty the carafe and it was still steaming (as in, drinkably Hot!) Water tank holds a hefty 60 ozs, there are 3-4 of us having coffee on any given day. Being able to have enough coffee to go around on the first pot is fantastic. Nice feature: digital counter that displays the elapsed time since the coffee was brewed. The Breville came with 2 filters: a reusable mesh basket filter for pots of coffee and a cone filter for smaller quantities & single cup brewing. The cone filter is open at the bottom so a paper filter is needed, the Breville came with a sample pack of paper filters which was great, since I didn’t have any on hand. I purchased the Medelco reusable gold mesh cone filter and it fits perfectly! Medelco #4 Cone Permanent Coffee Filter https://www.coffeemakers.us.com.com/dp/B000TCZRKW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CCEcFbX97XZPM Note: be careful when unboxing there is a single test strip for water hardness - I didn’t even see it, and had tossed it into the box with the styrofoam until I read about it in the set up instructions, or it would’ve wound up in w/ the recycle. Overall I’m very pleased with the Breville Precision Brewer. It makes great tasting coffee. It’s well made, solidly built, simple set up and easy to use. Well worth the investment. Pros: -Thermal Carafe is sealed, airtight while brewing and keeps coffee hot for hours. -Fully customizable coffee brewing includes: choice of brew temperature, bloom time and flow rate -No hot plate to burn coffee -Lighted Digital Display -Water Hardness Scale- the coffee maker will adjust as per water hardness level -Fast Mode, brew up to 12 cups in less than 7 minutes -Sturdy Build & Filter Holder is wrapped in stainless metal Cons: -The water reservoir is not removable ( because of that, I’ve been wiping it down daily) -Pricey
