If you want to have an espresso and save hundred of dollars, this is your machine. Love it. You have to pay attention when loading pods. If you drop to fast, the pod will drop through. Water tank has to slide into slot tightly.

This machine had everything I wanted all in one machine . I thought the 1st one was just a lemon so I ordered a 2nd one because I loved the idea of everything all in one. BOTH machines got grounds in the k-cup section every time. I am talking the k-cup would burst and 1/2 the grounds were in the cup. The first one I tried everything to make it work (cleaning it, buying different pods etc) I waited too long to send it back for a refund or replacement so I threw it in the trash. I ordered a 2nd one in hopes I just had a lemon the 1st time, but the 2nd one did the same thing. I am done now and will just purchase separate machines to do what I want and they will not be Cuisinart. It all sounds good on paper. Sadly it just doesn’t work well.

Very poorly made. Lid broke as soon as I opened it. I am returning it.

  • I originally bought this to be more sustainable and not buy plastic jugs of coffee every week. However, this is all I use now. I have the 64oz/2 quarts. If you drink coffee daily, get the biggest size. Pros: -The mesh part is fine enough that I never have a problem with coffee grounds getting out. -Buy the handle. It is too big and heavy when full to pour one-handed without the handle. -You could buy more glass jars if it breaks or if you like to make a lot of coffee. Cons: -the mesh part is a little difficult to rinse out and clean well. -I wish it came in other colors besides blue. -With any homemade cold brew, I feel like I can never get the storebought coffee taste. Note: It did take me some research and a few batches to get the right taste for me. You have to use coarse ground beans or it will turn out very bitter. I found better results sitting on the counter for 20-24 hours than in the fridge for 24-48 hours. I also mix it with almond milk so it is not as strong.

This pot is amazing. It keeps the water heated so it starts brewing a pot immediately. Definitely worth it

This is the best automatic coffee maker I have ever had. I read good and bad reviews. Irioi was going to go with the Technivorm Moccamaster but the one I wanted didn't do a half pot so I chose this one. The price has come down which made it more appealing as well. I made an over ice last night that worked great. I actually put ice in the thermal pit and brewed a Japanese style iced. Easy and delish. This morning I made a single 12oz mug on strong setting with 3 scoops of fresh ground coffee.ig was nice and strong but not bitter like when I have tried to make strong coffee before this. I didn't even have to add cream. I can't wait to try an entire pot but I am the only coffee drinker in the house so will wait. I love the optuons that this machine has. I usually just use my nespresso with Peets coffee pods. Now I have options. If you don't like messing with settings this may not be for you but once you set it then it remembers for the next cup. It is very easy out of the box. I love Breville products so I hope long term this holds up to the daily use.. I highly recommend this product.

Morning coffee could not be any easier now since I purchased the OXO single serve pour over. After having already owned and broken two glass carafes, I decided to avoid glass on the third go around. I was tempted to purchase a pour over/safe for stove top use glass carafe but decided that I had enough with worrying about breaking the glass carafe. No more worries about it tipping over in the sink, on the counter, dropping it, chipping, the list goes on and on for anything made of glass. And the worse part when the glass breaks, its not the broken glass it the no coffee tomorrow morning part of it. As for the ease of use, just set it on top of your mug (my cup is a 20 oz) and pour the hot water into the reservoir. I wait about 30 seconds (since I use more water than the reservoir will accommodate) and then pour the rest of my hot water in, place the lid on top and come back in about 5 minutes for my hot cup of coffee. I don't know why I waited a few months before writing this review because within the first week the OXO single serve pour over was a game changer. No worries about breaking anything, Pour your hot water into the reservoir, no need to wait and continually pour the hot water over the coffee grinds like other products. This allows me to do other things while the coffee is "brewing". Once the well is empty, place the lid on the table top side down and you can sit the pour over right on top of it. Others have complained about the holes in the water reservoir being uneven and blaming poor manufacturing. From what I can tell this is by design, 6 holes all evenly spaced apart, every other hole drips faster than the one next to it. Sometimes this will create an indentation in the grinds as the water drips down. So for those first 30 seconds that I wait, I sometimes rotate the water reservoir slightly to even out the dripping. I say sometimes because that's only if I remember to do so. Clean up is easy, remove the paper filter, quick wash and done. Never have to worry about breaking the glass carafe. With the OXO Brew Single Serve Pour-Over Coffee Maker there will be coffee tomorrow morning.

If you’re visually impaired like my mom. This is the right one to use. Easy to fill. Easy to use a pod. Easy to know which size to use. Purchased on 4-29 Died on 9-29

  • I used this once and as I was washing it out it cracked. Not durable at all. Would not recommend.

It brews good tasting and hot coffee. It is easy to use, simple, easily fits under the cupboards, and it occupies minimal counter space. The water tank is easy to use, read, and it suggests how many grams of coffee to use for the cups listed on the water reservoir. The "design oddities" are minor and reduce my rating by one star. 1. The basket works best with TALL flat bottom filters. Very minor issue, but that should be made known in the description. 2. Storing the unit is a bit awkward. The carafe with the lid in place is too tall to find under the basket when it is inserted into the holder. When I store the unit under the cupboard, I place the carafe into place with the lid on the carafe, but then I must store the basket on top of the machine. It does not affect the quality of the coffee, but spacing the basket another 1/2" higher from the carafe would solve this design oddity. Suggestion - Pre-Heat the Carafe: As with all stainless steel carafes, pre-warming the carafe greatly helps with keeping the coffee remain hot for a longer time. It is worthwhile to swirl hot water in the carafe, or fill it with hot water, then empty the carafe before brewing. I'll update if I come across any flaws or issues.

  • Try some Red Diamond European Roast if you like McDonald's coffee. I searched and searched for years to find something w/o bitterness and medium/full bodied. I buy 6 cans at a time from Red Diamond. This is the best coffee I've found after sampling 30+ types. If you're a business, their Red Diamond Estate portion packet European Roast are even better. This is the 10-cup model which is being sold alongside their 12-cup model. I can verify that the 12-cup model a person call fill a tall on the go coffee cup whereas with this one you won't be able to. But for fat boy cups, this is a great maker.

  • This coffee pot makes great coffee, which is what i wanted, so i am pleased. For the price, a great coffee pot! Some minor issues - cleaning it isn't easy. There is a channel that catches liquid where the top of the urn is rolled over but not pressed flat - that complicates cleaning, as it traps a bit of water at the top when you upturn it to empty... the only way to remove all liquid after cleaning is to use a towel to sop it up. I'm also a bit bummed that the spout on mine is straighter than the pictured model. It makes getting the last bit of coffee out a bit of a tip, pour, straighten, tip again, pour more, repeat process. But it makes great coffee and it wasn't too pricey. All in all, i am pleased with my purchase.
