  • Update. The replacement arrived today and the seal is in good condition. This is becoming our favorite French press ever. It’s super sturdy, strains the grinds perfectly and keeps the coffee hot. It makes 4 mugs of coffee, which is just perfect for us. This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He had been wanting a slightly larger French press than the one we have, and this was exactly the size he needed. It arrived, and I wrapped it. Upon opening it for Christmas, he found a melted and miss formed rubber gasket. He assumed that it was packing purposes to keep the lid from wiggling, but upon further inspection we realized it was meant to be a seal to help keep heat in. We are returning it and ordering a new one, and hopefully the second will arrive with the seal not melted and mangled. Aside from that, construction seems to be fine. It’s not the prettiest press out there but it’s the only one I could find in this exact size.

I enjoy coffee every morning. I've always wanted a Technovorm Moccamaster but they cost a lot. I'm so glad I gave this a try. It's super easy to use and produces a smooth, non-bitter delicious cup every single time. It comes with a handy guide that states how many grams of ground coffee you need for however many ounces of coffee you want to drink. Of course, like any coffee making process, much depends on the coffee you use and the grind. I use a medium grind and find it works perfectly for me. It's also really easy to clean. I'm now enjoying coffee that tastes better than from any automatic drip maker I've used.

I bought two of these. The first leaked water underneath after 6 months, the second leaked thick dark coffee which was a great breeding ground for fruit flies, hence the photo attached. Bought a Breville version for Nespresso, hopefully the different design doesn’t leak anything. Sorry if the photo is the wrong orientation, that’s how coffeemakers.us.com upload showed it...

  • It’s cute and works great! Very disappointed in the color though. I know the description for the color says “apricot” but It looks nothing like the picture provided. Definitely a peach/pink color.

Love it. It was easy to set up the clock and the delay timer. The only thing I wish was that I had bought the washable filter at the same time. Now I have to wait a couple days for it to come. The place where you put filters, doesn't come out. It was a little messy getting the used paper filter out. Elsewise, is exactly what I wanted.

After having used and broken 3 Bodum French presses, I've given up on thin and pretty glasswear that will crack or break even just from being tipped over. I was a little hesitant to buy a stainless steel French press given the wide range of designs, brands, and prices. The fact that this Bellemain press comes with a two year warranty gave me the confidence to buy it - and I'm very glad I did! The press is heavy/sturdy, and although it makes 4 cups (8 oz), it's not big and fits well in my small kitchen counter space (the pot is about 8.5" tall and 4" across (not counting the handle/spout)). The double wall steel design keeps liquid hot a long time. What really impressed me is that the super fine mesh keeps out basically 100% of the coffee grounds, unlike the meshes on the previous Bodum presses I've used - they allowed much more grounds to get through. It's also super fast/easy to clean. After making coffee, I simply rinse the press and pot under water. To avoid any chance of staining, I also use a paper towel to dry the inside of the pot - and it shines like new! ONE SUGGESTION - please etch 3 groves on the inside of the pot so the user can see how much water he's adding - when it reaches 8oz, 16oz, and 24oz. Without groves or etchings on the inside of the pot, it's hard to know when one reaches 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 of the pot. Still, I would definitely buy this again!

Durable. Useful. Pretty. Wash both carafe & strainer by hand. Simple to use, simple to clean. The strainer definitely slow drips the coffee, but that's fine by me - while it does that, I organize breakfast or take care of my dog or switch laundry; something for a few mins while it does it's thing. Keeps it pretty warm, too.

This carafe sits well in the Brim pour over heat plate with a minimal gap. The height is good to avoid splash over messes during the pour over. It will not fit the Brim plastic paper filter holder through the neck, but it will fit the Brim metal permanent filter and comes with its own filter that matches the pour over flow rate. This is a great replacement for the Brim carafe.

Not the best product, the screen mesh filter is weak and easily warped, allowing coffee grounds to get past it. It was difficult to pour without coffee spilling back down the side and onto the counter. And then 3 months into its life the glass cracked on the inside bottom. I always hand washed it, it was NEVER cleaned in the dishwasher. I will buy another product, this one is poor quality.

I can’t rave enough about the nespresso machine! For one, you can decide where the water tank goes. It can be on the right side as pictured. Directly behind. Or to the left. It’s easy to turn. The water tank has an impressive capacity. There is no max marking, only a min marking. However, because of the way you’d remove the tank, I wouldn’t recommend filling to the very top. Reading some reviews, leaking was an issue and recommendations were made to follow the instructions. Which say to tilt back and remove. So we follow that. So far we’ve had no issues and we use this twice a day. Soooo easy!! It’s got a quick warm up time too. Seeing as tho it’s holiday season, I’ve been making mine with egg nog using the 7oz cup pods. I pour about 1/4 ish cup of egg nog. I don’t stir it at all so I get a nice strong flavor at the beginning. I love this machine. It’s quiet, it’s easy and it makes an amazing cup of caffeinated deliciousness! EDIT: It’s 01/12/2020. Our machine has started leaking. Reading the reviews, it mentioned several customers who experienced leaking. We use our nespresso at minimum 3 times a day. Every day. I read the reviews which mentioned to make sure to read the manual—paying attention to how one takes off the reservoir. To tilt back first versus just pulling straight up. Our leaking comes out of the bottom. It makes a decent mess. Handling this went smoothly—unlike some reviews. Now, is it because we are within our coffeemakers.us.com window?? We are definitely within the warranty period. Because it’s a leak, coffeemakers.us.com couldn’t help. But they were very helpful in referring me to Nespresso. My experience was Nespresso was equally helpful. They are open 24/7. They were kind and helpful. We tried to trouble shoot and do a factory reset. It still leaks. The rep said sometimes an inner seal is faulty and it’s an easy fix. We will be set a replacement. Does this deter me from recommending or loving the product??? Not at all. Defects happen, and coffeemakers.us.com and Nespresso were very helpful. I will post an update with the new machine.

  • The metal filter broke in less than a year. The handle dislodged completely from the filter during a routine cleaning after a light tap. Coffee brews relatively well but coffee is chalky with some fine grounds. This is to be expected from a metal filter.

  • It’s a programmable Coffee maker that makes a great pot of coffee!

Welp, “Chad”, my new kitchen bro, is a disappointment.... i should’ve known! While this does technically brew coffee, the coffee comes out tasting burned. Also, the back lid does not fit tightly or line up well. When water boils in the reservoir, even if it’s not filled to the max, water fountains and sprays out the back getting your counter and the machine all wet (seems like an electrical hazard). Will be returning :/ the one thing I did like, and the reason I originally bought it, was that it does just barely fit a travel mug underneath.
