First, I tired to use THEIR contact site but there's NO PLACE to write anything in. Apparently you submit your info and they call you? I had a Mr Coffee for YEARS. It was my moms and worked perfect. However the warmer was rusting, so I bought a new one and donated the old one to the Salvation Army. BIG MISTAKE I thought, at first, the new one was ok but noticed a few things: FIrst, the plastic grounds cup was redesigned with LESS PLASTIC... it's just slightly smaller. So, guess what happens and happens ALL THE TIME. The standard paper filter FOLDS INTO ITSELF about every third time and you get a POT O GROUNDS. Great! Next... they've used a CHEAPER spring valve system so EACH TIME I remove the pot, you get COFFEE dripping on the warmer! Wonderful! Finally - they also redesigned how the hot water is dripped into the grounds. Now it's swivel bracket instead of being BUILT IN to the lid. CHEAPER TO MAKE. I wasn't going to write this review initially but since the Mr. Coffee contact system won't actually let you CONTACT them with a message, I decided to go ahead and write a scathing review of this USELESS ANNOYING and HORRIBLE DESIGNED product. So, again about every third pot, I get a folded over wet filter where the grounds have spilled out to the lower part of the plastic cup, to the coffee pot itself, and into MY COFFEE CUP. I've included two photos. One shows the filter collapsed into itself where the grounds now freely flow OUT of the filter and IN my coffee. As STRAIGHT AS I CAN MAKE, it still folds IN frequently because of the NEW DESIGN OF THIS CUP. Since they wanted to save a few cents in plastic, it's smaller and the walls are steeper which allows the paper to fold into itself. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. LOOK FOR A QUALITY PRODUCT. IT'S A SHAME THEY'VE DONE THIS BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT SAVING A FEW PENNIES TO PAD THE POCKETS OF THE CORPORATION.
This is a good coffee pot, I really like the umber color. The coffee tastes great. I do however agree with other reviewers about the fill tank. I’m 5’9” and I still have to kinda stand on my top toes to pour the water in, the opening to the tank is also small so you have to be careful not to spill water everywhere. Doesn’t bother me enough to return though, the other features are easy to use.
So far my husband and I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! We’ve only used it for loose leaf tea as we are big tea drinkers but I will update my review as we make coffee and nut/seed milks. Reasons why I love this/PROS: 1. It won’t crack or break or explode (as I’ve seen in some reviews involving other brands and glass). 2. We can toss it in our camping bin when we go camping! 3. It makes the best tea! No tea bits left at all when we pour (this is great as we only use loose leaf to be more low waste). 4. It looks nice! 5. The lid swivels to keep the heat in if you choose. 6. Easy to wash. 7. Great customer service, even on Instagram. Love a brand with quick responses and friendly repertoire. CONS 1. We only have one. My husband and I both easily drink 34 + ounces each. I like to take the gator on the porch in the morning. We will probably have to get a second soon! Side note: we got the silver one so it would hold up for the long haul in case the others would chip off paint. Buy well, buy once. I’d definitely recommend this though!
I haven’t even had this coffee maker a year yet it will be a year in April and now the Nespresso side is not working properly. I will have to go through six of the Nespresso pods before I can get it to work. Nothing is blocking it don’t know what’s going on, but it won’t feed through. These are not offbrand. I’ve used them before they are Pete’s, not sure what’s going on the K cup part works perfect but I bought this thing for the versatility of having both
CAYNEL Drip Coffee Machine With 750ML Removable Water Reservoir- 120V 5 Cups Drip Coffee Machine is the perfect size coffee pot! I wanted to love this coffee pot but I do not. It is a great concept in theory but fails in application. The heater plate does not turn off without unplugging the machine. This is not a 5-cup coffee pot; it's only 2-3 cups at the most. The fill line isn't easy to read. It's awkward to remove the carafe from the base when it is filled with hot coffee.
Size is perfect for our RV/van. Each pot fills 2 full 8+ oz mugs. Fast, quiet & perfect for us. Coffee left in carafe stays hot but doesn't burn. Use it every day. Comes w/a filter basket but I use paper filters for easier cleanup.
Don’t think about it just do it. I was very skeptical of bad reviews; which almost made me not purchase it.. yes IT DOES BREW HOT. BUUUTT it’s very concentrated so your coffee still comes out strong without a watered down taste! I’m very picky about my iced coffee & this has brewed it to perfection each time. I will be saving a lot of money with this because I love my home brewed iced coffee better than $5 Starbucks & Dunkin’.. (shocked I’m even saying that lol) There are so many flavored coffees, creamers, & syrups out there it’s almost impossible to not find a combination you’re gunna fall in love with to brew your own coffeee at home & save some money. Coming from a very picky person.... I’d 10/10 recommend!
Easy to us, but it takes awhile to get a good coffee brewed. I’ve found 1-2 tablespoons of fresh coarse ground coffee seems to work for me for 2 cups of water. I rated it 4 stars because with only using 2 cups of water it completely fills the carafe even though it’s up to the over 3 cup mark, so that confused me. I didn’t order the huge one since I’m making coffee just for me.
This model of Keurig coffee maker doesn’t take up a lot of counter space and runs very quietly when it’s new. However, in two years I’m on my third unit. I descale when the machine tells me to, yet that gives only temporary improvement. My first unit got noisy and started putting out random amounts of water after about 8 months. Its replacement seemed to be on a similar path when it somehow overheated(?) and deformed the plastic that holds the K-Cup. Despite my experience I still like this coffee maker.
I was skeptical but now pleasantly surprised with the taste and brew.
Perfect size for a single person or small apartment. I love the color. It has one of those baskets that doesn’t need a filter which is also nice.
I've only had this a short time but if your really looking for a good coffee maker this it. The smallest size is perfect for your traditional size mug if you are doing a single serve. I expected it brew slow because of the traditional style but it brewed fast like a keurig. I like strong coffee so the rich setting and 4 small scoops worked well for me. I haven't used the frother or the pot but I'll update this when I do. My coffee was not bitter. I buy coffee beans and grind them at home and the coffee cut through so nice. It taste great. I had another single serve in the past using k cups but I started buying coffee and filling up the reusable filter. And since I was using coffee and not k cups that is what drew me to this product. If you preferr the convenience of a keurig you will still like this for a single serve. There's not preheating like a keurig. It doesn't take k cups but I didn't use them anyway. It doesn't take up much space. It's a nice size. For me and my needs it was worth every penny.
Makes coffee. I don’t think anyone actually believes it will keep your coffee warm “all day” or whatever their gimmicky marketing tag was but that’s not why you make coffee anyway is it? That o-ring in my picture doesn’t stay put very well but it doesn’t seem very important either. All in all it’s a good piece, filters clean and doesn’t leave a muddy cup. Presses all the way to the grounds and doesn’t trap your precious, magic bean juice under the screen. I bought this because I was tired of my 3 year old cracking/breaking glass ones and I’m confident that problem is solved.
