Quality appears to be good for glass. Bamboo base is average quality. Country of origin should be included in the description: Made in China.
My biggest complaint with the coffee maker, as pictured here, is that when you turn it on, power it up, you have to push a second button in order to make coffee. The question is, who turns on the coffee maker with no intention of making coffee? Although it’s a good coffee maker it doesn’t really do anything else. I’m only turning it on Because I want to make coffee, other than that is OK.
I'll start by saying i love the functionality and the look of this product however there is a grease that forms on the vertical bar when the plunger is pushed through the lid. That grease goes directly into my coffee and sits there and i feel like it changes the flavor of the coffee. The grease is not coffee fats either. It is there whether or not I plunge it into coffee or just through the lid itself. It is a dark grey/blackish color. It gets on my hands every time I use the thing as well.
Love this coffee pot. I have had it for about 4+ years now and i still love it. It does not leak, it lets me know when it needs to be cleaned and the automatic off is great.
The shift tray came broken. I only use big cups. Doesn’t really matter to me. What does. Id that it makes a lot of noise while brewing and splatters everywhere!
Pros: freshly ground beans, a generous water reservoir that is easy to refill, compact and nearly dry used coffee grounds that you can toss without a mess or add to your garden/compost. Cons: the flavor extraction is underwhelming, the espresso-style setting strips the body of crema, and you are limited to brewing one cup of coffee at a time. With dark roast beans, the boldest setting just barely reaches the surface on the depth that you might get from a pour-over. There are hard-to-deny benefits: you can program it to brew a freshly-ground cup of coffee without even a touch of a button. Coffee comes out PIPING hot, and it's foolproof -- anyone can use it. Even my mom. And it is undeniably a sleek design that looks attractive on my coffee bar. If you enjoy a variety of beans throughout the week, or prefer a bolder flavor than a light to medium level, this machine is not for you. Now, if you're looking for a one-and-done method of being served a hot cup of coffee without dealing with multiple appliances, then you've got a very useful tool at your disposal. From a coffee enthusiast and lover of De'Longhi products, I really hoped this offered better flavor extraction because my coffee is not cheap, but I do know certain friends and family members that would love a hot cup of fresh coffee at a moment's notice.
Amazing coffee. My husband is a coffee connoisseur like many others. He loves the ease of using it and programming it to be ready in the morning. Yes, it’s an investment, but most things that have great quality are. If you like to be your own barista you will love it.
Works great !
We enjoyed it while it lasted. However today our power went out briefly. The coffee maker was plugged into a surge protected and grounded outlet. However when the power returned the coffee make is completely fried. (The cuisinart grinder in the same outlet is fine). I sat on hold for 55 minutes waiting for support that never answered. Then I went to the website for help. When I searched for “warranty” there is nothing and no where to even email. They don’t stand behind their products. Do not buy.
My coffee pot has cracked within three months of using it. In owning coffee makers for 40 years, this has never happened to me before. This was with just normal use, and no, I never immediately wash a hot pot; I always let it cool down first. I thought it was covered under two years of warranty, but Bella was able to get around that by saying non-mechanical parts are only covered under 90 days. Furthermore, this pot is no longer available to even purchase, even though it is a relatively new purchase. Furthermore, the touch display is finicky, and not the most intuitive to use. Oh well, I now have an excuse to get a better coffee maker. This was my third Bella appliance, but they have lost me as a customer
Pros: Not a single coffee ground in the cup. Using all 4 filters. Coffee tastes great. Cons: There seems to be a gap between the stainless steel and the glass so there are errant coffee grounds stuck. So that's a strike for easy cleaning and durability remains to be seen. See pictures. I purchased this to make coffee for my mom because her single cup coffee maker was hard to clean and made the house smell like burnt coffee. I originally researched "sustainable" and green alternatives and figured that a coffee maker with no plastic was the way to go. Researched french presses and decided to go with this one. It came with a spoon for the coffee and a stirrer spoon that can hang from the cup. I've used it twice and will revise my review once some time has passed to see if it held up.
The plastic quality of the machine is very low. When empty, it feels like it's about to topple over. As a coffee lover, I didn't like it very much. The coffee is not frothy. I like the products of the Arzum brand. There is also a tea machine as seen in the picture. His performance is very nice.
Package well protected but damaged glass. I contacted the seller and they resent a replacement and the same glass was broken. Apparently it is not due to poor packaging but just packaged initially with broken glass. Cheaply made and I had to use a spray can to improve the appearance but it works if you are willing to forego what you think it would do without adjustments. In other words, photos of this device makes it look more cool than the style and functionality. But waste of money for me because I cannot use it with broken glass not trying a third time to get a replacement.
The travel press arrived covered in some kind of dried orange liquid. Disgusting.
This is the brewing is perfect for my coffee bar and the grinder is built in! The grinder is also adjustable. I also love it's large capacity for water and it has one button press settings for smaller 2-4 cup brewing. There is touch screen with easy settings for the clock and automatic timer. This brewer made the hottest and freshest drip coffee I've had in a long time. The machine is fully loaded and looks so beautiful too with the stainless steel.
