I just received my coffee maker today so the only thing I cannot comment on is the longevity of the item. My Keurig broke on me 3 days ago so I was dying for this to come in so I could make a cup of coffee. I love how small it is and the space that it saves as I don’t have much counter space. Using it was pretty much the same as my previous coffee maker except this has more options , pods, comes with a ground coffee pod and also tea leaf pod as well. The steam that was coming from my cup as it was brewing was sooo much more than with my other maker. That was always my one complaint with the Keurig was that the coffee wasn’t hot enough. This cup was piping hot and honestly tasted so much better than my keurig. If anything changes I will come back and update my review but as of right now I’m loving my purchase.
Perfect fresh ground hot coffee and a nice looking easy to clean machine. Owned similar Cusinart machines that are crazy loud… this is much quieter. But Teflon coating on pot warmer chips off making this look terrible. Disappointing.
love this french press it’s so pretty
Pretty sure I’m never going out for coffee again!! I’m in LOVE
This just came in March, '23, & I've used this 9 times. I usually use kcups but have also tried ground coffee as well. Ground coffee filter has a max line of 1.5 tbspns of coffee, but you can Stretch to almost 2 tbspns. The water fill line on the side is not compatible with the measuring cup of water oz I add; I'll add 6-8 oz bottled water, & side panel says 4-5 oz. I don't get good tasting coffee with the regular brew button, even with 6 oz water for 8 oz k cup. The "max brew" (brew bold) button is not much better for coffee flavor. I've tried different amounts of water, but I cannot get that perfect coffee taste. I cleaned it after 4th use per HB protocol with 3/4 cup white vinegar & 1/4 cup water & rinsed with clear bottled water twice after, & still can't get a good cup of coffee. Plus it's a bit big for my counter. So off to Donation site it goes, & I'm going back to Keurig, & just know I must replace it after year or so as needed.
I love this coffee machine it works perfectly and not very Loud However you cannot fit tall cups underneath only short mugs.
Alright. I'm a lifelong espresso drinker. Every morning. I make my morning latte every day. Someone gave me a Vienna Plus espresso machine and it's saved my life and pocket book. The biggest problem I've had is when I go camping. I'd been doing those iced coffee Starbucks packets, but they were always so sweet and don't hit the mark for me. On my camping/road trips I spent too much of my budget just making sure I'm caffeinated. And now I'm not giving my money to Starbucks (union busting my friends in Seattle) so I looked for other options. I thought about upgrading my solar battery to a larger output so I could bring my Vienna Plus espresso machine, but that's ridiculous and big, and also expensive to upgrade to a high enough output. But I was tempted. Then someone mentioned this Outin compact espresso machine on their outdoorsy YouTube channel. (Modern Self Reliance) I don't think he was sponsored by them, but just wanted to give a review. I put it in my mind bank because it was $140 at the time. Honestly still a reasonable price with the results I have. But then it was on sale for Prime Day at $111. I thought I'd give it a shot (pun intended). They take returns if I don't like it. Let me tell ya. I was actually shocked. It might pull better shots than my Saeco Vienna Plus. And the espresso has a more sweet balance, which I like. Positives. Awesome shots, portable, charges fairly fast, but I recommend charging the night before if you have coffee dysfunction in the morning. It will use most of the battery for 3 shots. Works really well for iced latte. Negatives. Takes quite a while to heat up between shots (you can preheat the water to shorten this time). You need to watch out when you unload the spent coffee for the next shot because it can be really hot. The set up was confusing per the instructions and I needed to go to YouTube. There was a random piece that didn't seem to be needed and maybe I'll figure that out later. It says it takes Nespresso pods, but I absolutely could not figure out how to fit them in the space nor how it was supposed to puncture the pod, so I just cut open the pod and tamped the espresso directly in the device. At that point I may as well just buy pre-ground espresso for cheaper. Lesson learned. The instructions and pieces need to be color coded because all I can see in the pictures are "put this thing in this black cylindrical piece". Which is almost all of the pieces! Maybe it was my eyesight. Maybe it was my lack of having had coffee. But I can imagine someone with a disability finding this confusing. [Update: When I was fully caffeinated I realized the extra piece was the slot for the pods. D'oh! See, this is why they should be color coded. But crisis averted for the rest of the trip. Which went great except for one particularly cold morning and the water was too cold to heat up the 3 double shots I was pulling. Pre heating the water is a good idea if you can.] Overall, despite those negatives, I recommend this device for those who have roughed it when going camping and hate that part of camping without a comforting espresso. It's a nice little luxury amongst bugs and the 100°+ weather at Lake Siskiyou that we are being cursed with. Dare I say I might even be tempted to use this at home as well. Maybe. It does take a lot longer. But I really like the flavor of the shots. Highly impressed!
This is the perfect one cup coffee maker…easiest to use and even comes with a great travel mug. It’s just perfection!!!
The lining of the carafe is separating from the inside of the container. Yes it is out of warranty as I purchased it 23 months ago, but be real this shouldn't happen. I looked for a way to contact to get some sort of resolution, but couldn't readily find a way to do so. Next best thing with a lack of ability for the manufacturer to stand behind the product is write the inferior review it deserves
This french press coffee pot works better than any I've ever had. When I measure the water from my large coffee cup and then brew the coffee, the coffee measures out the same. The plunger goes all the way down and there's none that you can't get out and have to toss. It is also so easy to clean and beautiful. It is small, but there's only one of me, so it's just right. Also, it won't break like glass ones that I've broken in the past. I would definitely buy this coffee pot again, but I plan on having this one for quite a while.
Product was perfect…for two uses and then the bottom glass cracked. Hand washed it both times and stored it safely but it broke. I’d love to try again because it’s a really nice item.
Perfect fit, amazing espresso. Easy to use and easy to clean. Should have bought long ago!
I really wanted a dual coffeemaker - my 2nd very expensive Cuisinart dual had been acting up and I didn’t want to spend that much again. I was nervous because of some negative reviews but most of them seem to be because they never read the instructions clearly. I love the stainless steel coffee pot and the fact that you can do a tall single serve. The only thing that takes getting used to is that my Cuisinart had one water reservoir - this one has 2 and I have to remember (1) to put water in for the single serve and (2) that you have to put in the correct amount spending on whether you are using a tall (travel) mug or regular. Other than that it works great, is good value for money and doesn’t look “cheap”
I got this for Christmas 2022, today it wouldn't allow me to program for self start. I unplugged it hoping that would fix it and instead got the pictured error. My last coffee maker lasted years, the only downside to that one was not being able to prep it the night before. Bummed!
I love the rolled edge off the inside lip, on the drinking end. However, the stainless steel pressed onto each end doesn't hold fast. The top one simply falls off, but the bottom on spins around, making it so you can't remove and/or tighten it. I ended up cutting the steel part of, so I could actually remove the bottom lid.
