I would give this product zero stars if I could. I purchased it on December 15, 2024, for over $100. I didn't start using it until February, and within a month, the finish began to chip. Now, it is chipped all over. This is completely unacceptable, especially since these products are not cheap and are advertised as professional quality. I would like to return it, but coffeemakers.us.com will not accept my return.
The biggest design flaw in this item is that the plunger doesn't reach anywhere near the bottom, and it seems the other brands also have the same issue. The length from the spout to the bottom is 6 inches and the plunger is also 6 inches, HOWEVER, the area between the top and the plastic knob on top takes up about 2 inches, so the plunger only goes down about 4 inches, leaving 2 inches UNPRESSED COFFEE at the bottom. I've had glass ones my whole life and they all reach very near the bottom. It's unfortunate because this would have otherwise been a really great product. I'm hoping I can find one that doesn't look like this same REBRANDED item.
this espresso machine makes better lattes than my Delonghi and has more brewing selections such as using a separate hot water dispenser for Americano and hot water. I have probably had 6 or more espresso machines in the last 15 years. This one was heating faster than any other i ever had. With its powerful 20 bar pressure. it consistently deliver rich and creamy espresso! The LED water temperature and time display is a good touch and i can clearly see the process of making coffee in this machine. It has nice stainless steel finish and is study. Will last a long time!
I was going to get a keurig but been researching this one on tic toc & youtube. My ninja died & I'm only drinking 1 cup coffee. So had to make a cup. I love it already & glad I went this way. Go & buy this gem
First brew and wow I’m impressed! The crema on this espresso is great and heat is just right. The brother on heated milk and it’s just as good as my much more expensive automatic espresso maker. My caramel latte was perfect. Haven’t used the pot brewer yet so will update later.
I can see why the Bonavita devices carry a premium price. The coffee maker itself is very basic. There's a single button and no provisions for a timer. Hint: hold down the button for a few seconds until it flashes - this will active a brief pause where it adds a tiny bit of water at the start and then waits for a few seconds to let the grinds bloom before continuing the process. The carafe isn't very well insulated, so coffee goes cold after 20 minutes. Also, pouring from the carafe requires removing the basket and attaching the lid. Even though the carafe has a small indentation for a spout, without the lid it will make a terrible mess. (Ask me how I know.) But the one saving grace, and it's huge, is that it can make excellent coffee. Water inside the basket is nearly boiling and all of the grinds get equally wet. Even though there aren't any controls on the device, there are a number of adjustments that can fine tune the process. An article, "Dialing in with the Bonavita Coffee Maker" by Ryan Felbinger, was immensely helpful in figuring this out. Also, adding some automation is simple enough by using a Switchbot. This allows for timers and Alexa control if you get the hub. It's kind of cute watching the little finger pop out to press the button too.
I love this one! It comes with everything you need to brew great coffee (except the coffee). The problem is that the beaker had a pop out. When I make coffee I pour a little of it in the bottom of the beaker and then swirl it around to warm the glass up. I have made coffee probably 50 times in this press and no issues at all until this morning. The glass popped out as shown in the image. How do I get a replacement beaker?
I purchased this coffee maker for an RV trip last year because it was small, see photos jug for reference. After my trip I brought it to work to hide under my desk and use as a personal coffee maker. (Shared Office machines get gross). After a year this thing still makes boiling hot coffee! I thought the heating element would’ve burned out by now. I’m using the filter it came with also and it washes off easily in the sink. The coffee brews in under a minute and doesn’t take long to heat up.
I don’t like that it doesn’t complete the whole amount of water to fill pot.. and takes 20 minutes for 1/2 pot of coffee
update 09/27/2024 i was contacted by manufacturer and they quickly resolved the issue. Very good post sales service. Highky recommended. -------------------------------------------------------------- I purchased the Chulux Espresso Machine in February of this year, and overall, I’m quite pleased with it. The design is visually appealing and fits well with my kitchen decor. The espresso it produces is always delicious, with a rich flavor that I look forward to every morning. However, I did encounter an issue with the portafilter tamping guard, which unexpectedly fell off. I will need to reach out to the vendor for assistance with this. I will update if needed on the feedback i get. Despite this minor setback, I still find the machine to be a great addition to my kitchen.
This is the perfect size for my husband and I, as we only drink a cup of coffee a day. I also drink tea and ice coffee. Everything is wonderful with this Keurig. We love it 😀
I had this very same unit for several years until it finally gave up the ghost. I used it 4 times a day, every day at work and I was quite happy with it. However, it eventually died. My only complaint was that shared by others in that the carafe dripped badly; it was virtually impossible to pour into a cup without it dribbling. I bought a different product from a different manufacturer and it lasted me about a year. (I guess I'm a heavy user!) At any rate I returned to this model and . . . hallelujah! The carafe lip has been redesigned! It pours . . . without dribbling! I've been using it for two days now, and I haven't spilled a drop! So you can safely ignore all those comment about the carafe as it appears to have been redesigned. I've attached a photo which shows the new carafe on the right facing the old carafe on the left. (Don't ask why I kept the old one!) The difference is slight, but it's enough. The only other difficulty is that it can be challenging to pour water into the reservoir without spillage. However, I have a small stainless water bottle with a relatively narrow neck that I use. I have no issues filling the reservoir. It's all good!
I bought this coffee maker because it could be put in the dishwasher. However, to do so, a yellow clip has to be pulled pretty firmly out of some plastic housing. The pictures show the result: the clip was soon destroyed. I have no idea what that thing is floating in the water reservoir. It worked for a while like that. Then it started saying "warmer on" instead of brewing coffee when I pushed "Brew Now." It is currently inoperable.
My mom has one from like 40 years ago and I always thought it was cool but didn't have the counter space. We moved and now I have counter space so my husband bought it for a present. The kids can use it and it's pretty self explanatory so easy to use.
This economic automatic coffee maker exceeded my expectations I needed it in my home, it brings a reusable filter with the capacity for 5 rates, very easy to use and to clean, the coffee comes out warm and tasty of very good quality it has a beautiful design I recommend it 100% a good article for your home very reliable
