  • I would like to have a reusable strainer instead of coffee filter which I thought it had. A plus is as soon as the coffee is done percolating it starts a count down to shut off. 1 star on the digital display. The power button has an LED in it. Why doesn't the display? You have to bend over and look real close to see if Brew Later & Strong brew is on in low light conditions, the morning & evening. When your drinking it and fixing it.

I came here to rate this product because lo and behold, my return window closed January 31 and TODAY the metal filter broke. Even so, I was going to give two stars because I like the rest of the set. But knowing that the filter comes apart just from hand washing got me thinking - wait a minute, what is the single thing that stops me from having my morning coffee here? THE FILTER. Don't get me wrong; the glass cup and wood holder are nice, but I could improvise if one or both these items broke quite honestly. The broken filter, however, means no coffee for me the next few days unless I brave the snow and run to the store tonight, or order a replacement ASAP. So if your whole point is to get some good coffee in your system, then the flimsy-designed-filter leaving you without should be a dealbreaker, ladies!

  • Designed to be made in bulk Holds 52 fluid ounces or 6.5 cups 2 cups just skim the bottom of the filter Infuser/pour over vs press (This is a infuser): Coffee/French press has round cylinder shape beaker with a plunger and beans extraction ends when you reach the bottom of the filter. Grinds does not remain in contact with the coffee. Typically stronger flavor depending on beans used/grind of coffee Pour over or infused coffee brewers tend to produce a lighter and smoother flavor compared to that of a French press. Down side is that you have to be patient on setup. A lot of pouring and waiting to fill the jug/container Very easy to clean compared to french press. Most individualized parts have smooth surfaces especially the jug/container that holds the liquid. Sealed twist on cap. No need to worry about leaking from the top aside from the spout area Very clean look. Transparent so can see contents inside the entire time Handle is plastic, wish it had some padding. Has a nice curved finger groove though. Overall, very good infuser to make beverages in bulk. Depending how fine course your coffee is must wait and pour to get all the water through.

Paid too much thinking this was made in the US. The company goes out of its way to make it appear this is a US product. It’s made in China. As for its functionality—it works, but so did my $20 one. I work hard to avoid grounds in my coffee—you have to make sure this precious thing isn’t filled too high because the pour spout is deep. Even with my efforts, I routinely get grounds floating like mean little ants at the top of my cup. And finally, it keeps coffee warm about 20 minutes longer than a glass press—nothing to write home about or a great review about either. I gave it a few stars for looking good. It’s like a Kardashian. It’s nice to look at but expensive and doesn’t do anything special.

  • In just weeks the chrome plating on plastic is flaking off. This might be dangerous.

  • Just tried my first pitcher of cold brew. I just used ground coffee that i already had on hand from a local roaster. This does not, however, make a concentrated brew. It's pretty much drinkable as is. The cold brew i have bought before and made before was concentrated and you would need to dilute it with equal part (or so) of water. So the Coffee Panda pitcher works great but you're going to go thru it quickly. That's my only disappointment. PROS: Super easy clean up! Which was not the case with making my own. I also love that it is glass. Great overall design. (Photo: cold brew with ice and half-and-half)

I purchased this product in 2014, use EVERY DAY, and this little guy is still going strong! It makes great coffee, it’s easy to clean and extremely durable. I went through 3 coffee makers in 5 years prior to this, and finally said, “I’m going back to what I know works, Mr. Coffee pots!” I am so glad I did. It has auto shut off, delay brew, and I use a reusable filter basket and put all pieces in the dishwasher with no issues. My only frustration is that I ALWAYS spill coffee when I pour it. Has to be something with the spout design, but even after every day use for almost 5 years I still can’t figure out how not to spill it. That aside, I highly recommend this coffee pot. Nobody asked me to do this review. I was curious as to when I purchased this, and was shocked to see it was in 2014! Bottom line, great purchase, durable and makes a great cup of coffee!

  • Cannot program to brew Clock will not work. Bought as a gift. Very dissatisfied. Do not recommend.

An update. The carafe copper coating started peeling. I guess it was made during pandemic or post pandemic when quality control was lacking. Never underestimate warranty. Cuisinart warranty works within 3 years from purchase date. Register your product on Cuisinart website. I contacted Cuisinart Customer Service and after submitting proof of purchase (go to your coffeemakers.us.com order history and save your order invoice) and received my carafe replacement soon after that. Happy customer here.

  • The design is slim but you still have to pull the whole machine out to put the water & coffee grounds in it. If the water reservoir came off of the side & the basket actually pushed open instead of lifting the lid, it would be a much better coffee maker. Also the buttons are very sensitive... Nothing fits on the counter anymore & you always have to move things around to use them. Anything that lifts open is not worth buying anymore.

Some parts came used. I am disappointed by the quality. Definitely not worth the money.

The coffee maker has seeped/leaked water every time we brew. As soon as you close the lid, it begins seeping out of the top tank. I thought my husband and kids might be overfilling the machine, but this happened even when I brewed four cup pots. Called Bunn and the rep said they do not make defective or poorly designed products. Our Bunn Classic lasted 10 years. The Select was defective Day 1. Junk! Defective design, horrible customer service.

Need larger version. I misread and thought these were about the size of my jars (84 oz). But I like the concept and ease of getting the grinds out. Sure beats the strainer/paper towel option I had been using. But since we go through a lot of coffee and I don’t like making concentrate I was needing to start brewing every night. I like a12 hour brew. So I was thinking I wonder if I can put the top jar. Well yes and no. It’s not snapped on tight but it’s set well. So brewing my first version this way. Hint to the company how about making one that fits large pickle jars with a longer filter!

  • We needed a coffee pot to replace our Ninja that kept going on the fritz. I like the look of the pot - streamline and silver. Has a warmer feature, for 2 hours (we'd prefer longer). Great timer and has been reliable in coming on in the morning - makes a great pot of coffee. I have no idea why the blue light inside the machine (that illuminates the grounds) makes me happy, but it does. 2 cons we've found so far: The cord is short. You will need to have an outlet right by the pot or run an extension cord. The buttons are non-intuitive....three of us (heavy coffee drinkers) unpacked and set this up and we were unable to use it without going thru the instruction manual first. Overall, we are happy with it - seems to be solidly working and well made, should last a while!
