  • Totally love this espresso coffee machine it makes my Nescafe Dolce Gusto and Nespresso coffees, an absolute perfect buy!!!

  • I bought this for the purpose it’s made for, I wanted to use it to make Crio brew coffee alternative drink. The pot was fine & worked as expected but the plastic ring/handle piece came broken.

I’m a coffee snob, but I have to say this coffee machine blew me away, it keeps 10 cups hot at all times which is so nice since I’m a busy mom always on the go. No matter how long I leave the pot on it never burns the coffee, one of my top favorite kitchen finds.

  • I tried all the Keurig new coffee makers, this one makes the best cup of coffee and offers so much more. Getting back to the roots, always a good idea.

  • REVISED: when the extremely fragile carafe broke, I did a custom hack. I was tired of pouring but wanted to retain the technique's subtle, clean flavors. Searched for an an SCA-certified brewer with pre-infusion, an excellent showerhead, accurate temperature and minimal footprint to fit inside my powered appliance cabinet... The Bonavita 1901 ($92 on coffeemakers.us.com) fit all of those requirements. Immediately stored away bonavita's eight cup carafe and filter holder for the rare party use and instead, substituted the following: Fellow Stag's XF dripper/filter holder ($59 from their website) + their special filters (on coffeemakers.us.com) Hario V80 carafe ($37 from coffeemakers.us.com) Both of these, dripper and carafe, are double walled, vacuum insulated stainless steel, not plastic, to maximize brewing heat retention, and, well, raise your barista street cred. The stagg xf fits within the Hario carafe so ridiculously well it's as if they were engineered for each other (seriously!), and using the stagg's steel funnel while brewing keeps the showerhead water perfectly away from filter edges. The combination leaves only about 1/4 inch gap between showerhead and dripper for, again, terrific heat retention. Once coffee is done -- 3 min 25 seconds from when water starts dripping to when drops end, not including 24 seconds to heat water -- I remove the carafe and it's portable enough to float around the house with me. This hack produces roughly four 5oz cups of barista quality coffee. Totally recommend it if you don't mind spending more to automate your pour over. I'd bet it's better, less expensive and less bulky than a technivorm mocchamaster. ORIGINAL REVIEW (mostly about filters) Pros Really easy to use Really easy clean up and dishwasher safe No weighing necessary (use simple visual dots for measuring) Fully controllable drip time to your liking Option of doing slow pour over or filling the dripper all at once for an immersion style brew Very good heat retention (used to use aeropress and the coffee was always lukewarm) Cons The filters are a total pain in the butt to separate... No excuse for this really. They spent so much time engineering and perfecting the rest but made no effort to design filters that don't stick together (allegedly improved in 2018 but still terrible). Who wants to be annoyed like this upon waking up! Why don't they just add a paper thumb tab or a cutout to these things so you can more readily pull them apart? The whole system is pricey compared to other pour overs so my expectation is for it to be frustration free...not so with the filters To add insult to injury, the coffee filters are unique and pricey Lack of permanent metal filter.. Which if they had and I could stop using the sticky paper ones, I would have given it five stars.

Replace Mr coffee with this. It works, programming is easy, auto shutoff is what we needed. But, no one thought to use this before they sent the design to production. When you open the lid to remove the filter basket after brewing, the water that condensed onto the top drips down the back and onto the counter! Also, drips in the front. Brilliant! The old Mr. Coffee had none of these problems. Shame too as my other appliances are B&D and they're okay. Update May 2021 - tired of wiping up water on the counter. Bought Bella, someone intelligent designed it! No drips down the back, no drips down the front, no drips from the carafe, no blinking LEDs after you plug it in, no illuminated anything after it turns off. https://smile.coffeemakers.us.com.com/dp/B07HRVNM7T/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_SNHB4XJSKEQHQQ8860TP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Good product but I was bothered by the packaging. There was a giant hole torn in the box and had small tears around the tab which makes me know I was sold a returned item.

  • I love the message behind this press. For every one purchased the company donates water to village's in need across the world. The press has a nice bamboo lid and press, with a metal screen and stamper. The outside bottom has a removable cover so that the glass bottom doesnt shatter. This made a mean cup of coffee! So, ive read a lot of the negative reviews and i am taking note of all of them. So far, i have not had any issues with breakage, or splitting of anything. I will come back to update if anything happens.

  • I have had this coffee maker for about two years and three months and the digital panel and buttons have stopped working. The problem is a very thin group of wires running through the hinge which frayed and broke. I asked Hamilton Beach to replace or repair it and they would not. If you only plan on making coffee for a couple of years, this is a good model. If you would like something longer lasting, I suggest a different brand.

I got one for Christmas because I’m hooked on cold brew coffee. I already used the ball jars with lids from coffeemakers.us.com. I did not think these could be an improvement, but the filter seems much finer. The coffee seems richer. I bought a red one too. I have to have it ready in the a.m. tastes like coffee ice cream with milk, sweetener, and crushed ice…even in the winter I love it.

As an avid coffee drinker, I was excited to try out the Moccamaster and see what all the fuss was about. At first, I was impressed with the quality of the construction and the sleek design of the pot. Brewing my first cup of coffee was a joy, and the coffee tasted rich and flavorful. However, after using the Moccamaster for a few weeks, I noticed that it had a tendency to spill over and make a mess on my counter. This happened at least 20 times, and I found it incredibly frustrating. When the pot didn't explode and leave a huge mess, it did make good coffee, but the risk of a spill wasn't worth the high price tag. Overall, while the Moccamaster is capable of making great coffee, I can't recommend it due to the potential for spills and messes. If you're willing to take the risk, it may be a good choice for those who prioritize high-quality coffee, but for me, the hassle and frustration outweighed the benefits. I would suggest exploring other brands or models that are less prone to spills and easier to use.

  • This mason jar is the coolest thing ever!! Great price and ships fast! Super easy to use and comes with jar, cap and strainer. I have only made iced tea so far. I especially like that it has a handle on it which makes holding the mug easier! I like that it is a 32oz. Size. Highly recommend!!
