I’m writing this review after 2 and 1/2 months because this went in the trash today. Yesterday we were getting ready to leave the house and heard boiling. The pot turned on randomly and started the leftover coffee and spraying it everywhere. I thought it was a fluke until today when the seas turning on and off rapidly at the end of the brew cycle and I had to unplug it. When I plugged it back in, it came on without me pressing anything. The button wasn’t stuck or anything. This thing was a bad experience, and I don’t recommend it.
i love how it looks but it’s so small and after making coffee and trying to wash it the lid kinda stuck each time i try to clean it
It's actually a simple little coffee pot. The dual features is what I was lookin for. This one can brew a full pot, or single cup. But beware, this pot is for coffee drinkers. Don't put a little cup down there on the single cup. It will overflow. I also can use this to make a cappuccino. The places for everything from the frother to the pull down stand was well thought out for ease of use. If I had any complaints what-so-ever it would be that the frother doesn't steam. You have to microwave your milk for heat. It does make a strong cup of coffee. Which is a plus for me. All-in-one, I am happy with my purchase. If you're good with the frother not heating your milk and holding its form real long, I would say go with this one. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere. That's a dealers choice thing... My husband's opinion of this coffee pot was great because it wasn't complicated. Would I buy it again? Probably. Would I refer others, yes, depending on their coffee drinking habits.
This is Gorgeous. I have yet to test it out, but so far it looks great. Here’s a little comparison to my other keurig mini. Will update regarding functionality In a few weeks :) stay tuned
Easy to use ,easy clean up , your coffee will taste good on the go with its add in travel mug.
I randomly get the error code 4 which is for tank not refilling. I have plenty of water flow and pressure coming out of the supply line! It goes away immediately after cycling power. I’m about ready to send this thing back. I figured I’d spend the money on a “good” unit and this is what I get. It also goes into sleep mode after 4 hours and takes a long time to heat up in the morning after waking. UPDATE 7/2/24 - Sent this back a couple weeks ago and got another one. After only 35 cups it is permanently stuck on "refilling hot water tank" screen and will not do anything else!!! Since coffeemakers.us.com's return window is expired, Keurig tech support is sending us a new one. This will be the third one!!! I called tech support and waited 45 minutes yesterday before getting disconnected. Called today and got a knowledgeable friendly support technician who immediately offered to send a replacement. Seems like he knew exactly what the problem was.
I purchased this elsewhere, but thought I would review here as well. I expected to return it after reading some critical reviews, but actually like it enough to keep. Best feature for me is the front-fill. No more pulling the pot out from under the cabinet to awkwardly fill from the back. This is a MAJOR convenience. Same with the swing out basket. Super easy. The carafe keeps the coffee hot/warm for several hours. I’m sure it would last even longer if I did the recommended fill with hot water first, but that kind of defeats the point of the programmable feature. As for the reviews concerning dribbling and leaking of the carafe: if the lid is properly on, this doesn’t happen. There is also a loose “flap” inside the pour spout that maintains a smooth pour. But if it gets stuck open, you get a dribble. I solve this by giving the lid a quick shake to hear the flap before I lock it in place. Mostly I am very happy with this machine, and I hope it lasts. Oh, also, it makes a delicious cup of coffee.
Looks very nice and clean I just got it today but in the top as you see in the picture a couple of dents I recommend it to the people who sells these items be careful with this I'm gonna keep et for couple days in and I think about it if I want to return it or not thank you
I received it a few minutes ago and I was very excited to see if I could use it on the Nuwave induction cooktop...and I can...I am very satisfied. The quality and design are excellent.
The handle already broke and is discolored. Really disappointed.
Makes literally the best cup of coffee ever. Bruise an entire pot in minutes. I’ve had it for five years, and it is genuinely the absolute best coffee maker I’ve ever had, I would never ever ever buy another one. This machine is a cult hit for a reason.
This product does NOT work as sold! However if you like the design and want to make it work as I did, you can purchase a medium sized sink drain filter and set it in the bottom of the filter cone to support the paper filter. Works great now! 👍
Beautiful design but the glass cracked at the handle for no discernible reason.
I've had 3 Bunn-O-Matic brewers over the last 20 years. One was a "New" one from the 80s that was never used (Brown with the wallpaper looking plaid design on the water heater area), a newer one from a few years back, and now this one. Overall I'm still happy with the brand and product, but this newest model includes a carafe that i really don't like. Fortunately I still have my old carafe. Pros: + all the models make great coffee very quickly. + Instant very hot water for other uses: --- I often use the instant hot water for other things too like Tea, or having water almost boil temp ready for pasta or rice, and not just for coffee brewing. + Lever in the lid that holds the water in place before brewing so if needed, you can use the carafe as the thing to pour water in (Though, from older models, i have a plastic container I used to pour water into the brewer with the carafe ready to accept the coffee) + Vacation switch, though I'm used to just unplugging it from the older models. Cons: - New Carafe is my least favorite thing: --- requires the funnel to be in place for all scenarios (The older wider mouth carafe could collect the hot water without using the coffee stained funnel), and off-centered placement can lead to nasty cleanup. - First timers may have a messy cleanup due to the Funnel overflowing if using too much water, coffee grounds, or too fine of coffee grounds. The water is dispensed quickly and has a chance of backing up inside the funnel if there are too many/too fine grounds in the filter/funnel. - No option for timer with the heat plate. Tips: - There's No overflow protection. I don't know of a coffee brewer that has such a thing, but that'd be my only suggestion to improve the brewer unit. Here are tips to avoid it: - Brew about half a pot at a time (brew 2 full halves if you want) until you're comfortable with the amount of grounds you use and water passing through. If you use 1/2 cup or less of grounds or course grounds, you will be fine to brew a whole pot at a time. - If you use more than 1/2 cup of grounds and/or you use fine grounds... DO NOT brew more than 1/2 a pot at a time, this will give time for the water in the filter to drain before you start again. It will take the same amount of time overall but without the mess of the coffee-water overflowing at the funnel and spilling all over the place.
Truly disappointed. I was very excited to set up and use my coffee pot. I have other 4 other Smeg kitchen appliances and have always been happy with them. That being said, I purchased them from Smeg retail stores and not coffeemakers.us.com. While setting up, I read the manual and followed all directions. However, on first use of the machine, it completely died and did not brew my coffee. Upon further investigation it keeps short circuiting and making my apartment lose power, no matter what outlet I plug it into. Really inconvenient I had to go into my breaker box 3 times to finish brewing a pot of coffee. I was sold a junk product. Upon reviewing the sellers return policy, I cannot return this product because he will not accept “used” returns. Nice way to get around selling junk, of course I tried to use it before I realized it was defective. So disappointed.
