-I have read a bunch of reviews and it seems like a few people don't understand how this product works, and it is also the seller fault for not explaining. -The type of coffee grind matters! You must to use medium grind which it is for "pour over" or medium-coarse grind for "Drip Coffee", these two are ok. I recommend to use pour over, My coffee: 3oz of coffee + 8oz water, perfect strong coffee for me; Adjust yourself. -The inclination of this product would be more for camping due to it is kind of a single shot, I got two for my wife and I. -Something you need to know: Because it is a bit tall (see the pictures) you might need to use a taller cup or adjust the wings, I use a 14oz yeti mug (Silver) and it was not ok; with the 10oz yeti mug (Yellow) it was much better, I could get 1/3 of coffee with no problem. If you like black coffee get a taller cup you're good to go with no problems, if you use milk, you don't need as much black coffee like I do, meaning you might not need to adjust the winds up, this will be the only down side for me. *** I should get a 5% commission for this review. This Nespresso machine has been a game-changer for my coffee routine! It’s sleek and compact, fitting perfectly on my coffee bar. It’s incredibly easy to use—just pop in a capsule, press a button, and enjoy a perfect cup of coffee in seconds. The quality of the coffee is outstanding. This Nespresso machine is definitely a worthwhile investment for any coffee lover looking for convenience and quality in one package. Highly recommend!
Very thick glass and exactly 32 ounces. Simple but very good quality
Love it!
We love the quality of the coffee, however the glass carafe did not last a year. Some way it developed a crack on the bottom unbeknownst to us. It leaked coffee all over the counter and the machine. I would have given it 5+ stars for the coffee, replacement carafe was $35. This could get very expensive over time...
Right out of the box, the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker’s design caught my eye. It looks, feels, and is an elevated experience. Between the easy set up and ease of use, I’m in love with my Aiden. Clean up is easy and it’s great that there is no extra steam. The water tank is solid and the carafe is beautiful. As an avid coffee drink, this will make me want to make my coffee at home more often.
This seemed like a great concept! Add whole beans and then press brew! Fresh coffee! But wait… We have not had that experience at all. While it does grind and make coffee, our main gripe is that no matter what we do, the filter basket overflows during the brewing process and this causes coffee grounds to flow into the carafe. We have used less beans, we have filled the filter basket with pre-ground coffee instead of using the grinder option, but each time we get the same result. While I am the early riser, I get mostly the first cups off the top, but when my wife gets to the 3rd or 4th pour, the grounds sift into the cub. This is a poor design!!! Did we get a bad one? Maybe the flow is much too fast?? We have tried the “bold” setting, hoping to slow down the flow, but it does nothing. We have used less coffee, but still a problem. The grinder mechanism does require periodic cleaning as well, but I could live with that if it worked as it should. Trying to contact Cuisinart for a return, Replacement or resolution. I’ll update this post if things improve or if they take actually practice customer service. Beware before you purchase this coffee station.
Leaks all over and the spout doesn’t go into the cup but spills behind the cup. Worked for 3 months before becoming a useless mess. Machine was well maintained. Faulty design.
I do like its clean design. Unfortunately, I made my first pitcher of cold brew and immediately noticed the recommended coarse ground coffee was slowly sweeping out of the filter and into the coffee. I will now have to create another filter system to be able to enjoy any coffee.
I bought this coffee maker and received a used one. It had missing pieces and was covered in sticky nasty coffee
Beware, when you wake up ready to start your day with a great cup of coffee and your Braun clean light is on, find another way to get your coffee fix. Bought this coffee maker a few months ago and its been producing great cups of coffee, but to force the user to clean the unit for 45 minutes is a bit much. Would have been a 5 star review. Update: Stainless Steel is now showing signs of rust.
My husband wanted this for his "Jetboil". He camps a lot with our 2 teenagers and this comes in handy for loose leaf tea; as well as, coffee. My husband and kids are not coffee drinkers, but do like tea. Tea or coffee are pretty much made the same way. Simply heat the water up in the "Jetboil", then add the loose leaf tea and let it steep for around 5 minutes (a little less for coffee). Then press the french press (which has already been inserted through the hole in the lid of the Jetboil) and press down. The silicone ring keeps any dregs or tea leaves from getting into your cup. This is simple to use and honestly French pressed drinks usually taste better. This cleans up fairly easy. Blast it with a sprayer when you get home, but just slosh it around in water while you're out camping. This press comes apart and actually stores right inside of our "Jetboil". Make sure to store the stem pieces on top of the press, so that it can be pulled out later by screwing the stem piece back into the press.
I'm liking this Keurig machine even more than I expected. After years of using the big, wide machines with all the bells and whistles, this design is turning out to be just what I need. I've been through several models of Keuring machines, and when my last machine died a slow and painful death I was forced to start looking for a replacement. The newer designs were something of a surprise to me, and I was a bit skeptical at first, but then I realized something important. Nowadays, I only drink three cups of coffee a day. Why do I need timers and screens and all that bother. The new machine is sleek and fits in a small counter space between my refrigerator and the stovetop. It's convenient to use and brews my first morning cup fast. I was pleased to see how quickly the brew cycle begins. It also includes just the choices I need ... brew size (I like the 6 oz cup size) and the "strong" button. I've never brewed coffee over ice but I've order some ice brew pods to try out that alternative just out of curiosity. Some people have noted an improved taste with the new design that pierces the pod with four extra holes for the water to pass through. I can't really distinguish a taste difference, but it does make sense to me that flowing the water more evenly through the grounds in the pod is a better method. I reached the point where I wanted to simplify rather than add more tech to the simple task of brewing a good cup of coffee. This machine sure answers that need.
Product: Bodum Java French Press Coffee So got this, despite that it's plastic, because Bodum is usually a good brand. Unfortunately it arrived used (? Open box?) One of the feet was broken and the bottom was terribly scratched. Sides are also scratched a little. It smells like old coffee and there are traces of coffee grounds left in the filter mesh and bottom of carafe. Seems to be functional (as french press is a simplistic design), but disappointing. Biggest lesson here is: THE PLASTIC SCRATCHES but carafe doesn't break (though the outer foot broke) Less expensive but you get what you pay for or you get less than what you pay for if it scratches and breaks.
Love it
