Good product and quality, the coffee takes little time to make and keeps the temperature well
I ask myself, what does a cup of coffee from a near $400 coffee maker taste like? Is it better than a $20 Mr coffee coffee maker? There’s videos and reviews across the internet from “experts” who swear by this machine, I need to know for myself. Well, prime day discount made it closer to acceptable. Love the color options, finally settled on midnight blue. But let’s start with the gripes. For that price the water reservoir being plastic is sadly disappointing. And like everyone else who reviews these machines, the plastic bits are cheap and the carafe feels dainty, like a fragile toy. These things are disappointing. I literally sat by the door waiting for this to be delivered and I ripped it out of the box, set it up and fired up my first cup of joe from a very expensive luxury coffee maker. I even broke out some fancy crackers for the affair. I used the same beans, same grind, same amounts, same water, same cup, same creamer and sweetener, just like I do everyday and what I found was the coffe brewed in this tasted better. It tasted like coffee, not burnt, less acidic and I couldn’t be happier. It looks awesome, no buzzers, bells or computers, just flip the button and in near silent hyper speed, coffee. The pluses far out weigh the cheapy plastic bits and carafe. (You can see it right next to my old coffee maker in the pics). A+++.
Llego a tiempo. Excelente empaque. Y hace un rico café.
This is the worst coffee maker EVER! When I first received it the piece inside was bent and constantly falls off its hooks, so when I try closing the lid to brew my coffee it’s off center. Most of the time I have to run the brewing cycle twice because the first time only water runs through and doesn’t hit the coffee pos at all. It’s going in the trash.
Unfortunately this Keurig, which was not inexpensive as it has the water filter attached as we have it hooked up to a waterline so you never have to refill the water. It always has to heat up first for every single cup of coffee and takes entirely too long.
Braun has been in the coffeemaker market for a long time and this unit lives up Braun’s reputation. Although produced in China, the Braun KF9079SI Multiserve Coffee Maker reflects Braun’s German design and engineering. The unit is a bit bigger than I expected from the website. It has many options and settings, the volume of coffee you want to prepare, as well as the strength of the brew. The selection and dials are intuitive and easy to set. Equally the initial setup of the coffeemaker is very easy. If your water is very hard, use the little charcoal filter. Replacement filters are cheap, and their use will result in better coffee. I like that you can easily select the volume of coffee as I often just want a single cup (see the photo). Overall, a great machine that makes great tasting coffee.
I love these coffee pots this is my second one but it did come broke
First off let me say we love the brewer, we have had numerous issues with the Keurig brand and finally said "NO MORE" to them, I found this one for almost 70 dollars off due to they said it was used, No one had ever actually used it, but they probably received it damaged ( see picture) I did find the little piece in the box and I can glue it back on ( fingers crossed ).. anywhooo, the brewer works great! I tried to brew some hot water before priming the machine, duh.. read directions! lol. after actually doing what I was supposed to do , it works great! I love how nice and hot it gets, 165 degrees, now this can be changed in the menu section, you can also change the default ounces you like to use, it came as 8oz but we like 10oz so I changed that. It's not any lounder then the keurig's we've had. Would I buy this again? YES, yes I would. Oh, I did see some people thought the water contain on the side might be a issued taking it off and on, LOL..NA... I'm 65 with arthritis in my wrist and fingers. easy peasy... I gave it 5 stars even though it's a little nicked. I don't care! I just want a machine to make my coffee and it does that nicely..
I have been using this product for several weeks now first of all let me start off by saying this beautiful little MoccaMaster brews a fabulous cup of coffee truly barista quality I have read other reviews where some people said the pot was too thin its actually not I love the aesthetics of it I purchased it in the off white its very pleasing to the eyes and does not take up a lot of space but most of all the delicious cup of coffee that I get to enjoy every morning is just the thing I need to start off my day if your in the market for a new brewer give this one a try you wont regret it I know I don't I would definitely purchase this product again Thank You MoccaMaster and Thank You coffeemakers.us.com for bringing us such a high quality product I no longer have to go out for a great cup of java if I don't feel like it
Great little coffee pot that delivers a HOT cup of coffee! The reusable filter is a great addition. I'm loving it! One small drawback is that it doesn't have an auto shutoff.
The Cowsar single serve coffee Maker is my new favorite appliance. Coffee is the first thing I look forward to each morning when I arise and I have used a standard 12 cup machine with a cone filter for decades to get my fix. I was aware of single serve coffee makers and know people who use them, but I never thought of getting one for myself because I didn’t want to make six single cups every day. But, I saw the Cowsar was available for Vine evaluation and my curiosity compelled me to give it a try. The Cowsar has a user manual, but the machine is so simple to use I have yet to read it. It has a water reservoir on the back that allows you to make up to four cups of coffee before needing to refill it. The dispensing mechanism is in the front along with the controls. The user simply places a coffee cup under the dispensing nib, inserts a coffee pod in the receptacle under the cover on top, closes it, picks the size being brewed, and touches the brew button. It took me three minutes and 48 seconds to brew a 14oz cup of Joe…not really too bad. In addition to using coffee pods, this machine comes with a screen filter that allows you to use your regular grounds to make a single cup. I was disappointed, however, with the cup of coffee it made using my regular grind and the filter. It just wasn’t as robust as those cups made with the pods. The cup size options are from six to 14 ounces in two ounce increments. Since you use a single pod for each cup regardless of the size you make, the smaller the cup the stronger the coffee. I bought a dark roast coffee and made a 14oz cup. Without exaggeration, it's the best coffee I have made in years..…by far!! I no longer use a creamer and sweetener….it's that good. I have found the prices of the coffee pods can range anywhere from $.25 per pod to over $1.00, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference in quality. There are a couple of minor issues with the Cowsar. First, it does not have a clock and therefore cannot be programmed to come on at a designated time. Nor does it have a keep warm element where the coffee cup sits….that might be a nice feature for Cowsar to consider for future models. The controls can sometimes be difficult to use. I found myself having to touch them multiple times to get them to comply with their intended function. These are all minor issues and don’t diminish this, in all other respects, excellent appliance. I really like this coffee maker and have, consequently, retired my relatively new, traditional coffee maker. I used to wake up looking forward to my first sip of morning coffee, but now I find myself anticipating that first cup the night before when I am getting into bed. I am still experimenting on the brand of coffee I intend to use, but so far no matter which coffee I use, I don’t think the Cowsar will make a bad cup of Joe.
I really like that this has a double filter, so you really aren’t gonna get any coffee grounds, especially if you grind bigger like you should for French press. There’s nothing mechanical or electrical on a French press so if it’s sturdy and looks good it’s a winner. This is a winner. It was easy to clean afterwards as well. I usually don’t have very good luck with glass ones but this one so far seems sturdier than most and I haven’t broken it yet so fingers crossed. This is the one that’s going to last me for a long time.
Flower pot 😤
This coffee maker has the most unnecessarilly bright “brew later” light. It’s like laser beams trying to take out my eyeballs. It actually kinda hurts your eyes if you look right at it, why is it so bright? Overall it’s a solid coffee maker. I don’t know if it’s worth $70, it seems like a lot but I guess a lot of coffee makers are expensive for no reason. Pros: The single brew basket, I use that daily. It’s easy to use and program. Basically the whole reason I bought this one. Cons: The blinding laser beam light. For the carafe pot, the water tank hole is so small to pour through, I wasn’t even sure I was actually pouring it in the right spot because it’s so awkward. It’s on the bigger side, so it’s not the best for a small kitchen space, which I have, but that’s more a me problem. Idk, honestly it’s a good coffee maker and it works like any drip brew coffee maker would, but I found myself not loving it for what I paid. I went back and forth on returning it but ended up keeping it because there wasn’t really another one I wanted. It’s been working fine, I haven’t had issues.
Overall I really like this coffee maker. I have been using it for nearly 5 years now. It is simple and makes great coffee. The significant problem is that the bottom fell off of the carafe. (Literally just fell off) I contacted Technivorm and was promptly sent a new one, no questions asked. However, this happened 3 times during the first 2 years of use! (see photo) Instead of the old saying, "The third time's the charm" the fourth carafe has thus far kept it's bottom on. With the fourth one I was also sent a filter holder seemingly as a "sorry for the trouble" gift, but it was for cone filters and the Grand uses basket filters so it was of no use to me. I like that there are no electronics to fail - no timers, beepers or clocks. I am very happy with this purchase.
