  • Love this item. I drink tea on the way to work. No more waiting for the tea kettle. I put in the water and everything I need for my tea goes in the travel mug so it's ready when I have to leave. It heats the water and has auto shut off. It saves time and doesn't need a lot of space. This type of product is usually for coffee but it's versatile. I'm not a coffee drinker. I want to try it next for instant soup.

Unlike prior models of Keurig products, this one breaks open the top of KCups causing ground to spill into my coffee on nearly every brew. Don’t buy. I hope to get my money back.

  • The De'Longhi 3-in-1 Specialty Brewer is a unique coffee maker. I was interested in this because of the iced coffee feature. If you are an iced coffee drinker, you know it is tricky to get it right at home. I have to admit, I didn’t know what SCA Golden Cup meant. With a little research, I learned that it has to do with the coffee-to-water ratio in the prepared coffee. So, we were excited to try out these specialty brews, and we were not disappointed. This brews excellent coffee. It is easy to use for all three brew types; it is basically pushing a different button for the brew you want. For iced coffee, you add ice to the pot, and the heating element does not turn on. Since this is a drip brewer, a full pot takes approximately 12-minutes to brew. I like that the water reservoir is clear, and will be easy to keep clean. This is our second De'Longhi coffee maker, and we are very satisfied with the quality of their products, and the coffee.

It worked really well for me while it lasted, I never knocked it into anything and was always very careful with it. Not sure why it suddenly cracked

  • It was broken when we went to use it at an event at our business. Just want a new unbroken black filter holder as pictured. Do not want to return the whole pot & do not have box.

I purchased the Black Bodum Bean Cold Brew Coffee Maker and was extremely pleased with the size (1.5L) which is the perfect amount for 2 coffee drinkers to enjoy a cold brew beverage on a warm summer day. For anyone in the market for a cold brew coffee maker, you probably already know this... but NOTE: it will take 12+ hours to allow the coffee to brew in your refrigerator overnight! But it's well worth the time to get a nice, smooth cup of coffee. The plastic carafe seems to be pretty solid and both lids (the overnight lid for freshness and french press / pouring lid for serving) fit VERY SNUG in the carafe. Almost too snug (it can be difficult to get them in/out without some effort). But for the price, the size and quality match my expectations and it performs exactly how I would expect. It says that these are dishwasher safe, but I preferred to hand wash to make sure it was cleaned thoroughly and gently. Would recommend!

  • I have been on a DIY coffee kick lately and this has led me to indulge in some interesting accessories, including a 51oz French press, a vintage hand-cranked cast iron coffee grinder and a high-end coffee maker that consistently delivers a water temp of 200+ degrees for great tasting hot coffee! That said, my absolute favorite purchase in my search for the “perfect cup” has easily been this Barista Cold Brew maker from UrbanTrend! In the past few months, I have attempted to make cold brew in a Takeya pitcher, a glass French press, mason jars with mesh filter inserts and even the well-known Toddy brewing system, which worked well, but I found a tad bulky and visually unappealing. I’m no stranger to making cold brew at home and UrbanTrend’s Barista is hands down my favorite new way to make a big batch of great tasting cold brew concentrate that will last me an entire week! Here’s what I love about the Barista: • Large capacity without being bulky. • Classy styling, looks great on the counter • Stable, stacking design that comes apart and stores easily • Built-in mesh filter with positive locking mechanism for leak-free brewing • Wonderfully easy to clean • Base doubles as storage container and dispenser for concentrate after brewing • Can make any size batch you want! The only issue I have with my Barista is that the storage lid for the base doesn’t fit quite as snugly as it could, despite having a rubber seal. However, this is a very minor gripe and the container still works fine for its intended purpose. I usually like to make a rather bold concentrate which I can later dilute with equal parts water and a touch of cream. Brewing a stronger concentrate this way allows it to be stored anywhere from 1-2 weeks without losing its flavor! Here’s how I make mine: 1) Set up the Barista Cold Brew maker on the counter and ensure that the switch on the front is set to “Lock”. 2) Aiming for a 1:5 grounds-to-water ratio by weight to start, mix approximately 8oz of coarse ground coffee (~250 grams) with approximately 42oz (1250 mL) of water in the upper reservoir of the Barista. The key here is to use either filtered or bottled spring water (regular tap water can result in a sour, off-tasting final product). 3) Use a small spatula to gently stir the grounds to make sure everything gets wet. 4) Allow the mixture to rest at room temperature for 16-20 hours. There is no need for refrigeration during the brew period. Also, the longer it steeps, the more intense the flavors will be, but don’t exceed 24 hours for best flavor. 5) Gently move the switch on the front of the Barista to “Release” and allow the cold brew to slowly drip into the base container. This could take upwards of an hour if you make a large batch like I do. 6) Attach lid to base container and place in fridge. Scoop out wet grounds from top reservoir using the same spatula as above. Rinse the Barista system and allow to dry thoroughly. 7) When ready to drink, simply add equal parts water and cold brew concentrate in a glass, adjusting the ratio to taste. Cream, sugar and ice are optional. Enjoy! For stronger coffee, simply use more grounds, a darker roast or let the grounds steep longer. For a less bold cold brew, use a lighter roast or adjust the grounds-to-water ratio (try 1:6 or 1:7). Either way, the Barista makes experimenting fun and creating your own DIY cold brew recipe as convenient as it gets. For me, it’s a keeper! Highly recommended!

This coffee maker is wonderful. It does exactly what it's made to do, make delicious coffee. I love the delay brew feature that allows me to set up my coffee at night and wake up to a freshly brewed cup automatically. This isn't for large families as it only brews 5 cups. But if you're single like me and love pouring up a big cup(s) of coffee then this is the coffee maker for you! No complaints!!

  • My first one was a lightning deal. There’s nothing I don’t like. It’s quality made of stainless steel and with glass percolator top. It’s easy to clean. I used a tumbler straw brush to clean the tube. The lid is attached. I use Melitta Disc coffee filters with all my brewing. Cafe Du Monde at my camping trip was sooo good on a cold day. I’d buy it again

I've had a number of cold brew makers but this is the best I've seen so far. Most are far too small given the time it takes to make a pot that yields only a few glasses. This cold brew looks awesome and makes coffee for several days at least which is far more appealing. Sleek design and easy to use and clean so it sure has my vote 5/5 stars

  • This is a good little French press, but not as great as I expected. I was hoping for a press that would keep my coffee fresh and hot for a couple hours so I could sip a cup at a time. This press keeps coffee warmer than my traditional glass press, but nowhere near as warm for as long as even a mid-range travel mug. You can notice the inefficiency when you pour boiling water in. It heats through to the outside almost immediately, so you can tell it's not retaining heat like a true vacuum sealed mug. I end up pouring my coffee in my Yeti mug now, but I could have done that with the press I had before. On the plus side, I love the look of this thing!
