Out of the box the Keurig K-Supreme Plus fails at the most basic task.. brewing an entire cup of coffee. It dispenses a small amount of water before rebooting. It does not connect to wifi. The process to discover this, and to retry, is long and painful. After repeated attempts we gave up. Far more frustration than brewing a single cup of coffee warrants.
It makes amazing mochas and so easily. A month ago I had never used an espresso machine. It was frustrating at first because the grind size was constantly needing adjusting for every cup, but then I bought beans from a local roaster and it has been consistent and perfect every time. I never change any settings and it's so easy and makes amazing coffees! It's a good chunk of money, but sooooo worth it!
This coffee maker did the job for almost 5 years, it even had her own name "Iyeshe" since she always did a good job at making coffee. Family was having Turkish coffee all the time maybe around 5-10 times a month. Recently looks like it had a internal meltdown. Not many options out there for Turkish coffee maker so I might have to get the same kind. Hope this review helps.
Update: The product continues to please. Having used it for a while I have a better handle on how it works and the only shortcoming remains the inaccurate fills, as described earlier. That's not a deal breaker by any means. I'd probably rate it at 4.5 stars if such a rating was available. My mission now is the find the lowest prices on the pods I like, - mainly 'Dunkin original. It's nice to be able to just make one cup, when a "quick hit" is needed. No coffee pot to wash. Easy setup, footprint on the counter isn't much larger than the old Cuisinart (which never got the coffee hot enough). Instructions were clear and the unit works well. Four stars instead of five, as the measuring system is highly inaccurate and doesn't fill the cup to anything like what's pictured on the cup level buttons. It's 'kinda erratic. It's early in the game, but I've learned that after the initial coupon from Keurig is used, Keurig is the not the place to shop price for specific brand pods unless no other options are available. Thus far, coffeemakers.us.com ("Dunkin" brand) and my local Albertson's (for their "Signature" private label) have presented the best price. coffeemakers.us.com hands down for the best selection and it's pretty easy to compare per pod prices there as well. The "Signature" brand from Albertson's is drinking well, - the 10% Kona blend. I prefer "Dunkin" - in the original blend and it's tasty in the Keurig although slightly different in texture/tannin sensation. The donut store blends I found at my local Albertson's (Keurig and others) weren't up to snuff in the Keurig. I'll come back and update after I've used this unit for a few months. These initial reviews are useless except for the setup scenario and initial experience. How the product performs over time is what is important to end-users.
This small pot helps me stop drinking so much coffee. It comes with a permanent filter that works great. This coffee maker closes tightly so no bugs in my coffee! This is extremely well made and works flawlessly. It is extremely affordable for such a quality machine.
The only thing I don’t like about the coffeemaker is the military time . It’s saves space on my counter... I only make l 4 cups of tea or coffee .
This is awesome! No more primitive coffee when camping. Uses grounds, or two size k cups. Rechargeable with a USB cord. Awesome color selection. Shipped super fast and arrived in great condition. Buy this.
We bought this Cuisinart coffeemaker to replace one we lost in a disaster. We were looking for one with an insulated carafe and the whole bean grinder, and we really love it! We just started using it and I discovered how much easier it is to clean than the old one. Everything that the coffee contacts is removable and it was such a breeze to clean thoroughly! It is also programmable to brew automatically, but be aware that if you program it for a fresh pot in the morning, the unexpected noise of the beans grinding may scare your family!! Totally recommend this coffeemaker though!!!
Most of the buttons don’t light up, so I can’t change the brew type. Then I tried to brew a cup, and nothing but water came out. I can’t even make coffee! Ridiculous.
Straight out of the box this coffee pot had issues. The pause and serve trigger that opens the plug on the basket to let the coffee flow into the carafe was busted and we had a total mess of grounds and coffee that backed up into the water reservoir since there was no where else for it to go. Since then we have had to put a rubber band around the trigger so at least it will make coffee without a giant mess...until I can get to wal-mart to buy a new coffee pot.
They don’t work and our used from previous owners that have returned them
Four years ago I purchased a De'Longhi espresso maker. That was my dream coffee machine! It ALWAYS made the perfect cup of espresso, with a thick layer of crema on top. I was in espresso heaven!! Just recently, I noticed that it was taking much longer to warm up...then I noticed that there was a leak somewhere, and that the water was pooling near my multi-plug extension cord. Time to replace! However, I noticed that the same machine had doubled in price, making it more than I can afford. After reading LOTS of reviews, I chose this Mixpresso Espresso Maker. My first red flag was how lightweight the machine is. Then I noticed that the portafilter was alarmingly lightweight, and was missing the funnel anatomy of the De'Longhi. What annoyed me the most is that the Mixpresso only pumps less than half the capacity of a tiny espresso cup, then shuts down. You have to run it again, but will still end up with less than a full espresso cup. But the final decision to return was due to the lack of crema. If it doesn't cover the entire surface of the cup, if it doesn't have depth, if it doesn't last, then it isn't a proper crema. It's just bubbles. I've ordered another De'Longhi. It's not the same model I had before, but I'm confident that I'll end up with perfect espresso, perfect crema. But it's not a pretty machine. If you want countertop bling, buy a Mixpresso. If you want serious espresso, buy a De'Longhi.
I think this the best products I have bought compared to all the other ever products. Double filter is great, cleans easy and if you love coffee and you travel as much as I do you will love this. All I do is have my ground coffee with me and I’m ready to enjoy my coffee anywhere anytime.
Love the style
Forever sliding the coffee maker in and out from under the cabinet every night and every morning to prep and put away. Not an overly daunting task but when you see sitting that may be a simple solution to a first world problem, why not give it a try. Just squeeze the little lever in the front center and viola first world problem solved. Try it. You will like it. Mission accomplished.
