  • So who can make a better Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso than Starbucks for less than 10 cents a cup? This guy and of course you can too. I replaced my 9 year old Saeco Italiano machine with this Gaggia Anima. Did you know Gaggia, Saeco and DeLonghi are all the same company and when it come's to Gaggia and Saeco, the machine's are often identical but for the name? Just compare the Gaggia Anima with the Saeco Incanto, looks the same to me but the price can vary by up to $100.00 Also, a certain company which will remain nameless is now collecting Sales Tax and other web sellers do not. On a purchase like this it could be the difference of $65 for my State, maybe even more for yours! While the machine was expensive my logic is that it will pay for itself over ordering at Starbucks to the tune of $20+ per week. My last machine which I mentioned already was 9 years old and made thousands of cups. Starbucks $4 a cup X 2,000 = $8,000 for a massive savings. Makes buying an expensive machine a minor point, doesn't it? While trying to decide what to buy I was tempted to buy a more expensive model with the built in milk frother but decided I would prefer doing it manually and saving some money, and I do on both counts. This milk frother by the way works exceedingly well to the point where I am trying to figure out how to heat the milk without so much froth. It's only been a few days and I'll figure it out but maybe you could message me with the secret. Some interesting facts. The machine is NOT made in China. It's not made in Italy. Guess where? Yes, you got it, made in Romania! I looked at another machine by another maker, it was cheaper and I messaged the manufacturer and their model was made in China. I avoid China made stuff as much as possible. I'm fine with Made in Romania, fine with Made in Anywhere but China. Feel free to feel differently about that. A water filter is optional and does not come with the machine. Using the filter will greatly reduce the build up of calcium in the machine and since the Mavea Intenza filter should last around 5,000 cups is well worth getting. If you did not know it, using filtered water from brands such as PUR and Brita will not remove the calcium. Also, knock-off filters are cheaper but may not work at all or need to replaced more often. Spring water is not a work-around, it contains minerals so that won't help. Get the Mavea Intenza filter and protect your investment. It's only been a few days but the machine is fantastic and now the center point of my home coffee center.

Me encantó, es muy práctica y super útil

  • This coffee press is excellent! Favorite part of my morning routine. I love the rose gold color. Great quality so far. My only complaint is that I am unable to unscrew the filter off to clean more efficiently. I do carefully put a butter knife in between to push the coffee grounds out and rinse. But other then that, this was an awesome buy

  • We had a Sunday party in neighborhood, and this coffee brewer works like charm. We had it brewed 14 pots in the morning, fast and tasty coffee is ready within 10 mins. Follow the instruction and it will be awesome !!!

After doing a ton of research on the web and YouTube, I finally purchased this Technivorm Mocha Master with a thermal carafe. What sold me most was a YouTube video of their factory located in the heart of the Netherlands. These folks are dedicated to not only crafting a great coffee maker, but building in sustainability into their designs as well. Not only are most replacement parts offered, but they have a facility in Oregon that can rebuild your Mochamaster as most everything is replaceable. This is not a "99% Plastic" piece of disposable junk as are most coffee makers. It has a steel exterior, copper heating element, and utilizes Plastic only where necessary and useful. This coffeemaker is fast......under 5 minutes for an eight cup carafe. It does not have a timer (which I don't miss). It's actually fascinating to watch the brewing cycle. I highly recommend the stainless steel thermal carafe as coffee should not be kept heated as it quickly breaks down the flavor. It's slightly fussier to set up each morning (filter assembly) but we're talking less than 1 minute to fill the filter, water and press the on button. In this day of planned obsolesence, the Techivorm Mochamaster stands out as a quality product that you can benefit from for years.

  • The mesh filter came apart after only short time use.

  • Very functional and compact coffee machine. Its versatility is truly impressive - it makes coffee from K-cups, ground beans, and Nespresso pods as well as one additional method that I am not even familiar with. As an espresso machine, it is definitely an average-quality unit - though it is capable of developing fairly decent pressure, it is still having some trouble producing sufficient crema in my case. It is definitely fine for a lower-end espresso unit, but definitely not the best cup of espresso I had. K-cup and Nespresso operation is pretty typical, nothing crazy there. The machine is very compact and uses minimal space from a kitchen counter. however, with smaller sizes there is one little downside - you have to use your smallest cup to fit it under the brewer because even modest-size cups are too tall for this machine and do not fit. The biggest minus of the whole machine is the fact that all 3 brewing attachments are made of some kind of plastic which is definitely not what I like. Besides that, it is a great coffee machine that is particularly amazing for short-term rental houses and hotel-style premises. Great value for the money, by all means.

  • This is probably the best thing I ordered on Prime Day. We needed a small coffee maker for our camper and this is perfect. It is a very lightweight plastic and compact machine that makes a very good cup of coffee. It is as good as our former name brand machine at a fraction of the price. And the color make is t fun and cute. It is a nice bright appliance to add to a cheerful morning. Now here are the drawbacks: It is very slow to heat the water. It is for one cup at a time, so each person must wait while the water heats. Just when you start to second guess if you did everything correctly, the water finally goes through. The other drawback is that it is too short to use a latte mug. The one in my picture is an oversized, but not extra tall mug, so I can still get a large coffee with the right mug, but be aware that a tall thermos cup or latte mug will not fit under. The only other minor issue is that it takes a little bit of careful aiming to add the water, but I will likely be able to master that part now that I am aware.

I’ve never liked basket brewers due to the inconsistency and lack of personal control over the brewing process. The idea that I’d spend top dollar on single origin, locally roasted coffee, grind it perfectly in my Eureka grinder, just to let an inconsistent brewer slaughter my final product was horrific…BUT…Breville just changed my mind with the Precision Brewer. The idea that a basket brewer does a bloom (that you can set the length of time for), and you can control the brew speed and temperature is outstanding! I also love that (if I’m feeling lazy), I can use the auto brew function, so that I can wake up in the morning and my coffee is ready to go, BUT…under stand that you do lose a little quality grinding your coffee 8 hours ahead of brewing it. It’s always better to brew freshly ground coffee. However, it is a nice feature to have for convenience sake in this fast paced world. I 100% recommend this brewer!

  • I noticed it a little when I first received it the latter part of December 2023. I use the single one only a few times a month but noticed the last time I use it there was a large amount of coffee around the base and I thought I was the one who spilled it. I tested it this morning and you can see by the photo that it’s leaking from inside the base. Couldn’t find a troubleshooting option so emailed the company and I will adjust based on there response. TBD

  • The glass cylinder has a spout which is totally warped and it is not safe to pour from. Spilled hot coffee all over my foot. The horrible craftsmanship is dangerous. I have the tea kettle and it’s amazing. DO NOT BUY

  • Very nice, works as advertised. Comes with an small cover, Does not come with a carry bag but there's a lot of options in coffeemakers.us.com for a carry bag.

  • This coffee machine is absolutely amazing! It makes my mornings so much easier. The sleek design looks great in the kitchen, and it’s very simple to use. The built-in grinder is fantastic—it lets you adjust the grind size, and the coffee grounds come out perfectly even. The coffee it brews is so rich and aromatic, even better than what you’d get outside! It’s also very easy to clean, thanks to its thoughtful design. Plus, it operates quietly, so it doesn’t disturb anyone. Overall, I’m really satisfied with this coffee machine and highly recommend it to all coffee lovers!

I bought this unit when I started roasting my own coffee because I wanted a reliable baseline for comparison. While I love a good pour over (and regularly enjoy them), I kept find myself struggling to assess the quality of my roasts. I knew that my pour over technique wasn't consistent enough to let me compare effectively. But a machine like this would. Truth be told, I bought this unit over other great units because it is beautiful. I love the look, and want a collection of them in different colors (I've resisted so far). I settled on black because the aesthetic of my coffee business worked well with it. It has exceeded my expectations. The coffee produced is excellent. The brewer pulses water through a shower head in a way that lets the coffee bloom. The primary compliment of the coffee brewed with this unit were that it was incredibly balanced. All the notes were discernible, but none were overpowering. Typically when I make a pour over, there is a specific note that is prominent. The Technivorm balances all the notes beautifully. This has helped me assess my roasting quality better than any other tool I have. Not only does it produce excellent coffee in decent volume (great for brewing great coffee quickly when you have company), it also bailed me out during a coffee catering event. I was using the machines provided by the venue, but they weren't keeping up. I decided to fire up the Technivorm to help keep pace. It did an incredible job, and yielded far better coffee than the other brewers I was using (which was to be expected). Overall, while I know there are other units out there that do a fantastic job in the 40oz brewed range, I would suggest the Technivorm all day long for looks alone. It is a pleasure to use, and I expect to get many, many years out of it.

  • The coffee maker is great, I love the hot cold feature. Coffee tastes great. The reusable filter works well. No grounds in my coffee. It’s quiet. I don’t recommend soaking the cup that it comes with. Mine doesn’t shut off automatically, no big deal to just shut it off. Perfect size for me.
