This basic Mr. Coffee model has no extra features. It does have an updated contemporary design compared to the ones I remember from the '80's. The dual water level windows are a nice feature. The receptacle for storing the power cord slack is also nice. Most importantly, it makes a great pot of coffee. We bought two units, so we can use one to brew tea for preparing sweet tea. Highly recommended.

Waiting for gravity to separate the grounds from the coffee takes I don't know how long, got tired of waiting (might be good for tea? ) I ended up getting a French press from the same company (Bodum) LOVE the French press.Heat up the water to pre-boil,pour in wait 5 min then. push down the filter rod and separated coffee in a matter of seconds. They have different sizes. But they work great. Easy to clean. Go French press instead for coffee.

I absolutely love this!! My coffee tastes the way that I WANT IT, now. It doesn’t leak when you pour it as long as you have the lid on (and I love the design of the lid) I have no problems at all with it. I would buy it again should anything happen to the one I have.

Ordered this Any Morning French Press Coffee and Tea Maker as I have never personally owned a french press and figured it would be a nice addition to the camper. This one came in a unusual box without any instructions for branding information. Just the press in some bubble wrap in the box with decorative sticker on it. The press itself is middling quality in my opinion, the lid and plunger are a thin plastic that does not feel sturdy. Frame is plastic and the glass again seems thin and nothing special. Is it borosilicate glass, I am skeptical. Think the description is a bit misleading as to the actual quality of the product and that the price is high given those issue. Debated between 3 and 4 stars on this one, but I feel like the branding is lacking, the product itself is middling and the description makes it seem higher quality than it actually is. For a more reasonable price I would have given it 4 stars as a budget press for a newbie like me to try out.

Makes great pot over coffee but boiling hot water made it crack.

  • The rose gold eventually starts to peel off so you have to be careful how you clean it, which isn’t great. Would not buy again

  • Has a lot of options, works great, kinda on the slow side but that might be mostly in my head. Only drama I’ve had is setting the time. Seems a bit pricey, but it does have the programmable options and other various tweaks. Use it mostly for tea, and it’s working fine.

  • Looks like manufacturing failed to correctly align filter so there's two gaps leading to a cup full of coffee grounds! Also they shouldn't have made it such a tight fit to put the included coffee mug in. The only reason we're keeping this is because we are using the reusable filter from our old machine. It's a great price ..but with that, you often get what you paid for!

  • I liked the first AeroPress I purchased five and a half years ago so well, I've replaced it. Why? My video shows more detail. First, when you follow directions, this makes superior coffee: 175 degree(ish) water (not boiling), 10 second stir, slow press. I'm not an expert, but have used a French press and tried the AeroPress with stainless filter as an alternative to paper. I prefer the AeroPress with paper filter. BTW, the 10-second thing is consistent with espresso methods. Evidently that is just how long it takes to extract full flavor and avoid bitterness. The AeroPress result has all the flavor the coffee offers, filtered so you can reheat it without degradation. If you've used a French press and reheated a mug a time or two, you know that the residual oils make for an increasingly bitter drink. I can heat a mug from the AeroPress 2-3 times and the flavor remains consistent. My new press appears to be built of a different plastic from my older one. I'm guessing that this is to solve the one problem I've had: crazing of the chamber interior. This probably relates to the hot water. As my video shows (or see macro still images), the main tube developed crazing which allows coffee to leak around the plunger end. I've read that the current plastic went into production shortly after I purchased my original. Yes, I could have replaced the plunger end and chamber to rehabilitate my AeroPress, but mineral residue from local water (washing only, I filter my coffee water) has made my old rig look kinda crusty so I went for a whole new set. My macro photos are of the old chamber, so I'm guessing that you (and I) won't experience the deterioration with a new chamber. But, hey, they are fun to look at.

Using identical pods (made using the same exact amount of coffee grounds), the Hospitality 1 cup coffee maker produced the tea-colored beverage, while my original combination unit delivered the correct formulation. The newer version of the single cup brewer by Hamilton Beach performs as abysmally as the Hospitality version. Only the combo unit does a good job with the pods. Frankly, for a single cup of coffee, and I hate to say this but, a Mr. Coffee Junior delivers the most flavor given the same amount of coffee and water.

  • I needed a small coffee maker for my office and this turned out to be exactly what I needed! This little thing brews AWESOME coffee, extremely easy to operate and reliable so far, the mug fits in the system perfectly so I don’t get any splashes on my desk. Really really surprised by the coffee quality! The only con is that there is no drip tray, but it doesn’t drip much so I just wipe up the drop or two and move on with my day.

After only 12 weeks of occasional, not daily use, Keurig no longer works. Only used bottled water, never tap, regularly cleaned yet still gave out after such a short time! No longer available for a refund so just a waste of money. Tried technical support but nothing works. Spit out small amounts but cannot brew a cup any longer.

  • Not the most intuitive interface—I’ll likely relabel it with a label maker for clarity: Controls: • Tap once → Turns on (Green = good battery, Red = needs charging). • Then Tap twice → Heats water for hot espresso. • OR - Press & hold after turning on → Cold espresso (bypasses heating, just pushes water through). I used fine espresso grounds (not pods), and the result was decent with a bit of crema. If you prefer really hot espresso, this isn’t for you—it’s drinkable right away, mildly hot. The espresso is not the thickest but still enjoyable. This was my first use, so I’ll see how it holds up. Some reviews mention overflowing issues, but one user fixed it by clearing a hole. To prevent clogging, I rinsed all parts and blew air through them after washing to keep it clear.

  • I'm a bit of a coffee snob. But I'm also a bit of a cook, and I've accumulated way too many appliances for my counter. I initially was hesitant to get an espresso machine because of the space it would take up and this completely meets my needs! It has a small footprint, doesn't leak, makes roughly 5 cups of Americanos before needing to be refilled, and tastes amazing. One word of warning - because of the smallness, it only accommodates a 3.5 inch high cup. If your favorite cup is larger, you'll either need a bigger machine or a new favorite cup.
