Love this coffee maker. All the features I wanted including bold and 4 cup settings.
The first 2 months with this coffee pot were great. Then, it went into clean mode. So, I cleaned the coffee pot as the manual states. Nothing changed. I cleaned it four more times before giving up. The company replaced the coffee pot free of charge. I’ve only used the new one once but it worked great. I appreciate them standing behind the product. I hope this one lasts.
I was looking for a smaller drip coffee maker with a program feature. This is a good size machine with a 5 cup max. It takes little counter space and is reminiscent of a hotel coffee pot so for my use is good for guests or when I don't want to use my barista espresso machine. The cord is average length for a kitchen counter appliance. The pot handle is secure and a good size for my hand. The weight and look is not cheap and in my experience average in look and design. With a permanent filter which means no worry about purchasing paper filters.
This Espresso machine is pretty straightforward, with only four buttons to push in operation. It is pretty fast, only taking about a minute to make a good cup of espresso. I got the stainless steel version, and it looks really nice. It is a decent size for most kitchens. Not too big, and not too small. The machine is a little noisy, but not too much for an espresso machine. Very easy to clean after use.
I like this coffee maker a lot. Simple, easy to clean, easy to operate. Makes great coffee. You may notice there's a light on in all my photos. That light stays on all the time. It never turns off. It's there to remind you the last brew that was made. And it reminds you whether or not that information is relevant to your current coffee needs. For example, at 8'o'clock in the morning. I do not need to be reminded of the fact that I had 8oz of decaf last night. The value of the information conveyed by the lights decreases significantly over time. After an arbitrary amount of time, it just wastes electricity. That's why I can't give it 5 stars. This coffee maker comes with a one (1) year warranty in the US. When that year is up, those LEDs are getting de-soldered.
If you have ever had that bitter tangy coffee flavor when you find that you don't want that morning cup of coffee even though you love coffee, this coffee maker is for you. After going through three coffee makers in ten years and having all of them develop that nasty tangy bitter coffee flavor, no matter how much vinegar we ran through them or how much we scrubbed them I did some significant research. What I found out that the bitter flavor comes from the plastic water reservoir where the water is heated. I know I didn't believe that either but multiple people on several websites claimed those cheep water tank are the cause. If you think about it like I did you will realize that although most dinner or restaurant cups of coffee are not that great, the one thing they have in common is that they don't taste tangy. This is because they use commercial grade equipment to make it that has a stainless water reservoir. Now knowing what the cause was I commenced searching for an all stainless coffee maker for home use... surprise there are extremely few options and most of them come in coffee makers that skimp on quality to keep the price point low. Bunn the makers of this model in fact have several home versions and almost all of them seem to develop leaks after a few years. So we made the decision to just pay a few extra bucks and get a full blown commercial coffee maker and we haven't looked back. Some reviews on this maker worry about the fact that it stays on all the time, when you think about it though, a Kureg keeps its water hot all the time too unless you tell it not too and then you'll end up waiting ten minutes to make coffee. What my wife and I did was purchase a home automation switch to go with our Wink hub and programmed a robot to run it on a schedule. The only real reason we had to do this was because the burner can get left on and kill a carafe if you forget. The bottom line is that in as little as three minutes this thing will have a cup of super smooth coffee ready, not even a Kureg can beat that really, especially when that's 12 cups of coffee, not one. So if you love coffee and like me you bleed dark roast, this maker will not disappoint you. Downsides are that it doesn't come with any carafe's and the filter basket is plastic. Most reviews agreed that the coffee doesn't spend enough time in the filter basket to develop a taste but we still went ahead and bought the optional stainless filter basket anyway.
The picture here is not what we ordered (see photo), however it was supplied by Kitchen Supreme, at a very good price. Not sure they sell it anymore. Very nice product. Makes good press coffee. I gave them 5 stars for customer service. First their directions were provided both on paper and electronic document. And they were very detailed. If you ever wanted to try press coffee and didn't know anything about it, these guys give complete detailed instructions. Second, someone in my family didn't clean the unit and we left it sitting for about two weeks. What a mess, mold, stink and grossness. BUT, this was not the fault of the seller, but our fault. We tried every thing to clean the screen filters, but nothing helped. As I didn't want to use possibly contaminated filters (the glass unit cleaned up nicely) I contacted the company via email to purchase new ones. Kitchen Supreme answered promptly, but they stated that they did not sell the screens separately. THAT BEING SAID, they offered to ship me a new set of screens for free. Can't get any better customer service than that. Very pleased with Kitchen Supreme and am not afraid to do business with these good folks.
Our Keurig was part of our wedding registry. We were so excited to upgrade from the one I got 4 yrs ago. Unfortunately, a month after I got to set it up, the screen would flake on us. At times, it would go white or have lines through it. I would need to unplug it and plug it back in, in order to start working again. Some times, i would need to unplug it and plug it back in more than a handful of times. It was becoming too much of inconvenience and requested a refund. Hopefully, we'll get one that is not defected the next time.
This is a nice cold brew filter. The filter is very nice. The bottle is not though. The glass is so fragile though. The top portion chipped/broke off from just putting the lid on. I have been very carefull with it, but this still happened.
Would not recommend this model with the stainless steey carafe. You can't pour without it dribbling everywhere!!! No matter how slow or careful you are it makes a huge mess-every time. Update: keeps gaining time (an hour a week)so it must be reset every week or the timer is useless as it brews at the wrong time.
I was so excited to finally get this coffee pot in! We have been without one for a week so I was desperate for it to be here. Very easy to setup. I love the reusable filter. We already brewed our first pot and it was quick! The hot plate stays very hot!
How are you reliable and very basic coffee maker. The coffee taste delicious and I never have to reheat my coffee with the amount of creamer that I put in which is a bonus. Four stars because it does not have an automatic shut off and for safety reasons, that’s a concern of mine.
im looking for a good small coffee maker instead of my old machine and it should be a suitable for a bed room so , i found this thing and i love this small coffee maker its very simple and nice with small screen to showing the time and delay button if you want your cup in specific time at the morning and its fast when its prepare one fresh cup of coffee and it has a good look on my small refrigerator actually according to this price for this machine its deserve to try and if you looking for very suitable and good look machine for your office or bed room this is your choice
Easy to use very convenient whether you want perked coffee or espresso. Only disappointing thing no steamed milk capability for cappuccino. The milk whipping attachment does make a decent frothed milk if you put your milk in the microwave first. Both the regular coffee side and espresso make great tasting coffee.
Cheaply made. Bottom line…Pass
