Little small. About 300+ ml.But enough.
This is really a beautiful and even durable French press. I’ve never been able to say that about any of the French presses that I have owned previously. They tend to break if not used very carefully. And I do take care of my things, but it seems to be the nature of a French press. However, this one is nice thick glass, encased in durable plastic; with a plastic candle. It seems to be made for my family with young adults who don’t take care of my things. So to say that this is a good value for the money is not an understatement. Additionally, it is also easy to clean. Even the plunger handle on top is cute, like a little flourish.
I love making cold brew at home but it used to be a hassle to get a small amount. I have tried different ways and all taste great but involve a moderate amount of clean up. This is a perfect solution. I can easily have 24 ounces ready each morning with a little effort. I use 2-3 tablespoons of coffee per fill. Fill it up with water and place it in the fridge. That's it! The next morning, I pour the coffee into my tumbler, rinse out the filter and bottle with a small amount of dish soap and start the process over. It takes no more than 3 or 4 minutes each morning for delicious and affordable cold brew. No need to wait on lines during the morning rush!
We liked the coffee maker, but we noticed there was green mold growing in the reservoir filter, which is a piece that is impossible to remove. We cleaned and descaled it without luck, which others suggested when they had the same issue. We reached out to Ninja customer service, but it was out of warranty so they told us to buy a new reservoir (that is not covered under any warranty).
I used it to make loose leaf tea. Lots of leaves escape around the plunger when you push it down. I can't imagine it would do better with even coarse ground coffee. The glass carafe is also stuck inside the metal and plastic stand, so you cannot remove it to wash separately. It's especially frustrating because the carafe in mine is slightly out of line with the handle, so it will forever be crooked. I got it to replace one that had broken and it's not nearly as nice. It looks good and is sturdy, but I'm disappointed with the leaves escaping around the plunger/filter. Picture: leaves stuck to the top of the filter after one plunge, not including the ones that poured out into the cup
Happy with the price, product works exactly as it is supposed to, and I like that it came with a permanent filter. No fancy features or timers but that wasn't what I was looking for, just wanted a thing that makes enough coffee for two people who drink too much coffee :)
This is amazing. Ty Mr. Coffee💕 I was surprise at how much ground coffee they wanted u to use but I follows directions and I was impressed. I use dunkins ground coffee and coffee mate French vanilla creamer. I use it all the time.
The coffee maker is excellent and brews your coffee pretty nicely. It has 2 types of brewing ( k-cups / ground coffee) . I have yet to try the k-cups, but was using the ground coffee using the filter provided and it was brewing pretty good. The only complain I have is sometimes leaving coffee granules at the bottom of my coffee, which I never experienced with my kuerig machine I had before. It also has water reservoir, so need not to fill the water daily which is handy thing. I felt the build of the coffee machine is pretty weak, would break easily if it fell down.
My package did not contain stainless steel filter. The box says it does
The coffee was bad it tasted weak. It is possible that he machine was deffective as everyone else loves it but for me it was a waste of time and money.
There is lots to love about this sleek, versatile machine. Makes drip coffee or hot tea in 8, 12, 16 or 40 oz. carafe sizes; iced coffee, express cold brew, or iced tea in 12, 16, and 40 oz carafe sizes. Separate filters are provided for coffee and tea so that there's no issue of taste transference - the machine senses which type of filter is inserted and provides applicable brew options. Instructions are detailed and easy to follow, providing precise measurements of how much tea or coffee is needed for your selection. The amount of scoops for certain selections will also show on the display. I found it quite easy to use after the first few tries. I tested the regular drip coffee mode, iced coffee mode, and iced tea mode and found the product to be terrific for all. The machine is SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certified as to proper temperature, brew time, and water to coffee ratio. The display also shows exactly how long until your product is finished and does a good job of holding the tea for steeping. Much better than those old iced tea machines. I love this machine and have put it to a lot of use already. It is on the pricey end so for those who are just looking for simple cup of joe, it's probably more than you need. Update - Ugh. A few months in and I am not a fan. I am not a huge coffee drinker so originally I liked this machine for making the occasional cup and the coffee was exceptional. That has not changed. If you can get this coffee maker to work as you want it to, it makes delicious coffee. However, my Mom has dementia so I had to take over daily coffee making duties for her. Let's all keep in mind this coffee maker has a list price of $299. Trying to set this coffee maker up on delay is like trying to get an act of Congress passed. Setting the delay function is almost impossible. I've had to toss at least a cup of ground coffee this evening because I think I've got it set and all of a sudden at the end it somehow switches to the Descale process, wets the coffee grounds, and ruins them. No matter how in depth you read the manual this problem still occurs. Unbelievable at this price point where all should be easy. It has so many functions that it makes it incredibly difficult to accomplish what you set out to do. I will be digging my Mom's old $25 Mr. Coffee maker out of the closet to get her coffee made. It still makes darn good iced tea. Additional update- this is truly the most poorly designed coffee maker. The inability to make coffee in between 16 oz. and 40 oz. is ridiculous. Currently shopping for a new machine. The new one will not be from this brand.
I love this little Keurig. It’s jut like the bigger one. It heats up quickly and you get a great cup of coffee. The water reservoir holds about 2 1/2 larger cups. Much bigger than I was expecting due to the size of it. Highly recommended
The instructions say dishwasher save because nobody has time for extra dishes but the handle broke in the dishwasher. I removed the glass container after the handle broke so I could salvage some continued use out of it.
I was looking for one of these mason jar pitchers to make my cold brew with and ended up going with this one. I was a little worried since it had no reviews yet, but I’m glad I took a chance at it. The jar and handle are very sturdy; When going to pour your drink the handle doesn’t bend! The filter has a seal that can easily be removed for cleaning and when in the mason jar, it fits nice and snug. Perfect!
The number one reason for a coffeemaker is to make coffee. And to make GOOD coffee. This does that in spades! It makes a great cup of coffee, at the right temperature. This is important, as I can notice that it works well in bringing out notes on the coffee grind that my previous coffeemaker was unable to do. I can really taste the coffee and each new type of bean is a new, wonderful activity to look forward to. Knowing that I’ll get a good flavor profile that I had been lacking. I wish I bought this sooner. Oh, it’s also really easy to clean - which is a nice bonus.
