  • Like many people worldwide I love my morning coffee. This brewer gives me the option to brew a full 10 cup (or less) thermal vacuum insulated Stainless Steel (SS) Carafe using a filterless basket (I do use paper filters). I can also make a "To Go" mug or tall travel cup (my own) with a coffee pod or loose coffee. I love the options to choose what I want! Excellent! This maker has a lot of pieces which I hand washed prior to use (Picture 1). The instructions recommend washing everything monthly which is going to be a chore. Some of these parts could be top rack dishwasher safe but even so, I wish things could be a bit easier. The SS Carafe is well insulated. I brewed a pot this AM and the coffee was at 187 degrees on brewing, a standard temp. After drinking 2/3rds of the pot over 90 minutes the final pour was at 145 degrees (inside the carafe not in a cold cup). That was acceptable. The carafe pours without dripping but a tad slowly i.e. the coffee stream dispensed is small. This appliance does NOT have a hot plate to keep the coffee hot as do standard glass carafe brewers. I can remove the carafe during brewing to pour a cup without coffee continuing to be drip...that won't work with a travel mug. Brew time for a full pot on strong was about 7 minutes, pretty much what any coffee maker takes. The final burps and hisses were a bit noisier than my usual brewer but let me know the pot was done. The instructions include a Quick Start Guide which is easy to understand. Note that the brewer switches automatically from selecting number of cups (4-6-8-10) to ounces (6-8-10-12) depending if the pod holder is in the filter basket. I cannot choose "ounces" without the pod holder in place so even without a pod in it making a 12 oz. mug will require picking the minimum 4 cups. The "MIN" mark on the water reservoir is at 10 ounces as I measured and is graduated in cups. It sounds more confusing than it is in practice. The water reservoir has the option of adding a charcoal water filter if I wish with 1 included. I use Br*ta water so did not use it plus Seattle has excellent tap water. The clear plastic reservoir is removable to fill; it is easier to pour directly into it. The lid is fully removable. Sliding the basket in is best done with the carafe off the base. It is difficult otherwise. I did like being able to use a K-Cup Pod, or loose coffee in the provided "filtered pod" which has a fine mesh screen, OR my own reusable SS Pod. The 2 add my own coffee pod holders are in Picture 5 - note the SS one with the S*mpliCup paper filter is NOT included but something of mine. Picture 6 is with a standard K-Cup style prepackaged coffee pod. Picture 7 with my tall boy travel mug in use - plenty of room to fit it and it is ~8 inches tall with a 2.75" base diameter. Great! I Recommend this Mr. Coffee Brand Pod + 10 Cup Brewer. It has many useful features and makes good coffee. I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

  • I like the fact that it is double walled steel, well made and looks great. I think they should add a cork stopper like the one in the photo. Besides that, a great carafe.

Love it! I love the reusable filter that works great and the cleaning brush that comes with it works great! 32oz is a little small if you drink coffee every morning but I got it to take up less room in the fridge. Very easy to use and clean and a great deal on the lid!

If you’re a brewmaster, barista, somebody who was retired with lots of time. This is the coffee machine for you. For the rest of us, including a dad with three kids. This is not an easy coffee machine. Additionally, it’s extremely overpriced. Recent sale has close to 50% off. That’s how I know it was overpriced. I bought this because I thought it was a simple coffee machine that would make really hot coffee. Most of the time the coffee is lukewarm. But what really annoys me with this machine? Is that after you watch the video on how to make coffee correctly? It’s a multiple step process that requires you to turn the machine off and on. Check the basket and do other things in order for you to be successful in the eyes of themanufacturer. I was better off with my pour over system

  • I bought this for my brother in law after my sister broke their Mister Coffee. I am that coffee snob. I prefer a strong, blonde roast and the taste of old coffee or coffee grinds in my cup makes my stomach turn. So I bought them this coffee maker because of the aesthetics and in hopes of better coffee when I stayed with her. At first brew, we were concerned with all the grit in the bottom of the cup. It sounded cool and it was nostalgic to see the percolator swirl coffee in the glass knob (pictured), but I couldn't stomach the grinds. We went to the store and bought cheap filters which easily popped into the basket after making a small hole in the middle. After the adjustment, everyone greatly enjoyed the smooth, flavorful brew which was produced. After sitting on the warmer for hours, the coffee was still delicious. This coffee maker was an all around win!

  • The kit worked perfectly on our Keurig Duo. Use it for a few days now it is so nice not having to add water. So far I'd give it five stars as everything was easy to install and work perfectly. The float was also very easy to adjust. The only thing I can't speak to his longevity, there isn't much to go wrong so I hope it lasts a long time. It was an added bonus that the kit included a step bit as well as a tubing cutter, they each work nicely.

  • This is a very nice coffee maker. Although it didn't completely replace my Keurig. My husband bought this for me as a Christmas gift. Because he wanted me to have the option to brew a pot of coffee, being that I go through so many k-cups. He thought it would completely replace my Keurig. It did for me. But it didn't for him! Lol He didn't like having to pour in his water for every cup of coffee. Also not having the ability to choose the ounces he wanted to brew. For me this is not a deal breaker. Because it does brew a very good hot cup of coffee. - You have to pour the amount of coffee you want to brew each time into the coffee maker. Whether it be the pot or cup side. - It doesn't stay in a preheated state. So it needs time to heat up. Then starts to brew. - You can't choose the ounces you want to brew. So pour no more than the cup size you are using into your machine. These are just a few little learning curves for me after using a Keurig for so many years. I use the the Hamilton Beach most mornings. My husband still uses the Keurig for ease of use. I will say if you like just poping in a kcup and 30 seconds later walking away with your cup of coffee. You'll need to stick with the Keurig for that. But if you don't mind waiting a few minutes this is a beautiful machine. And brews a very good cup of coffee.

I recently picked up a personal coffee grinder as well, so I've been waiting for this to come in. I am happy to say that they work well together. When I first pulled the coffee maker out of the box, I noticed that the packaging of the coffee maker wasn't sized properly, and the top of the box wouldn't stay closed. So, when you receive it, make sure to check that everything is good. Everything was good for me, but the manufacturer might want to change their packaging a bit. When I first saw it, I could tell that it is 100% plastic, as it is very light, and not a metal part to be seen. However, everything is good. Nothing is warped, it sits flat on the counter, is very easy to use, and produces a good cup of HOT coffee. When I say HOT, I mean HOT! It works similar to any K-cup system, in fact you can use K-cups in it with the provided adapter, or grind your own and place the grounds in the basket. Put water in the bin, plug it in, and press the appropriate brew button (HOT or cold). A couple minutes later you will have a cup of coffee. I know it looks a little cheap, but it does work. I should be able to make tea with it too, just place the tea bag in the bin and brew it like a cup of coffee. The only thing that I would recommend is, to wipe it down (dry it) after use, rinse out the basket (if used), and leave everything open to dry. That will hopefully make it last a very long time. I'll post back if I run into any issues, while for know I can definitely recommend it. BEST

  • Excellent French press with beautiful design. I love the charitable work this company supports with the safe water project!

  • Positive to this review…Maker brewed decent tasting coffee! I’ve debated buying this for a year, since my red Cuisinart started leaking I decided to try this! To my surprise it was metallic red. Not at all what I expected. Top it off the bottom was darker than the top, plus the edge near the hot plate was a very rough finish. As the picture shows the black waviness along the top side! While coffee was perking, steam condensates on the outside of the top. Very hard to line up the basket inside and basket is cheaply made! Very dissatisfied with the quality of this! I have resorted to purchasing a black Cuisinart, it seems from talking to different customer service reps, companies have discontinued making red because! The GEN Xer’s don’t buy red! Even tho their seems to be a demand for red from other shoppers, HUGH mistake on the companies making the products we buy!!!

  • I got this because I want to make cold brew coffee. -You got a filter for the cold brew coffee and a strainer piece to put fruit or I’m guessing teabags into. You can use either one. -The directions show you how to install the spout, which was easy. -It doesn’t say anything about washing instructions. I washed all the parts in the dishwasher and they came out fine. -It also doesn’t say if it’s BPA free I took a picture of what it says on the bottom. I’m not sure what that means but if you do there it is. -it doesn’t come with directions on how to make your cold brew coffee or tea so you’ll need to figure it out. I’m guessing for the coffee it’s just like you would for the coffee machine into five scoops for 5 cups of water. Overall, this was cheaper than most cold brew systems so I figured I’d try it worst case if it doesn’t work, I can use it for water or juice for the kids.

Wanted to replace K-Cups due to recycling issues but still use my Keurig. Bought this to replace an older versions but, is to big won't fit under my keurig machine safely. So I'll continue to use my old one. I know there are other options but they leave a dirty residue.

  • Very handy, easy to clean, easy to use, super light and works great for my morning espresso!
