I love Keurig Coffee and had a Keurig coffee maker since 2010. Since this coffe maker went over the coffee maker rainbow bridge, I ordered this one. After trying to get the thing to work for 30 minutes to no avail, it didn't recognize that the water tank was full, and asked for more water, I called Keurig customer service. The representative was friendly enough, and we went to about 5 gallon of filtered water, filling and emptying the tank, yet the machine still didn't recognize that the tank was filled to the hilt. Upon recommendation I used tap water instead of filtered water for the last round of troubleshooting, but obviously the machine doesn't recognize water containing contaminants such as chlorine either. The final solution is that Keurig will send me a replacement coffee maker within 3-7 business days, and I only have to send the brew head back, as proof that the just purchased, and not functioning machine is actually not in use. That step I find somewhat ironic, as the machine never worked in the first place. 3-7 business days for the delivery of the replacement coffee maker is an eternity for a coffee addict like me. I would have appreciated an overnight delivery, since I just paid a 3-digit amount for a coffee maker that is defective. From several reviews here, I noticed that my people with this coffee maker is not an individual case. Keurig obviously knows that this particular coffee maker is prone to defects right off the conveyer belt. It would speak for good customer service to simply put this series off the shelves completely, until they have figured out what the problem is. Instead they let customers go through the motions, let them develop frustrations, and send out a replacement of the exact kind in hope that it is not one of the many lemons they obviously produced! I will update this review, once the replacement arrives. Currently I can't recommend buying this coffee maker, unless you are a true sucker for frustration.

  • After having 2 Kuerics in 5 years breakdown i jeeded something that didnt hold water. In ohio our water is so hard it calcified rather quickly. I LOVE, LOVE LOVE this machine. Its faster than Kueric, it tastes better, hotter coffee, and OMG I have my counter back. Highly recommend.

My husband uses the 30 oz Milwaukee pack out tumblers during the work week and on weekends he uses his 20 oz Yetis. I prefer smaller mugs that range from 12-14 oz. With our Keurig, there were no issues using his 20 oz Yeti, but he would have to tilt the 30 oz Milwaukee to brew each pod - it has been a headache every morning until now. I looked and looked for a brewer that had a **completely** removable drip tray and believed for a long time there was not one until I saw this. This machine is perfect for those of us who use taller mugs. All you have to do is move the maker to the edge of the counter - I’m not sure why other coffee makers seem to have such an issue with this, it’s beneficial. We use filtered water from our refrigerator in our coffee makers but this does come with a permanent filter - also, almost all the parts are dishwasher safe - heck yea. It was easy to unbox, take apart and wash and reassemble. The max fill line on the tank is bold black so you can actually see it without straining your eyes when you’re half asleep. It brewed a smooth cup of coffee in about the same amount of time the Keurig does so no complaints there. And to be fair you can’t beat the price.

Exactly what I expected when ordered. Basic minimal small electric coffee percolator. No switch, no light, no glass top knob. Just makes perked coffee. Perks when heating water switches to keep warm when up to temperature. Only fault I see is that it is hard to see water level marks inside pot. Easy to judge once I determined what "full" looks like. It's not critical. Just don't overfill. Picture shows top open. I use an old Mr. Coffee "weed whacker" grinder. Gets the job done. Made funnel (3D print) to aid filling basket with grind. Makes great perk coffee!

  • Like -Compact -Color -Coffee flavor I would describe the color as more of a green blue. It definitely looks like a dark shade of teal. This is perfectly sized, as I usually am making 2-3 cups of coffee for myself per day. I remember buying premium ground coffee thinking the coffee itself was bad, without realizing how much my previous auto drip coffee maker was influencing the flavor of the coffee for the worse. With this model, the coffee flavor is as it should be. Incredibly better! Dislike -Tiny crevices to clean -Condensation -Side Design Because of how the interior of this auto drip coffee maker is constructed, it is possible for ground coffee to end up in the water tank, or in tiny spaces immediately around the coffee filter base. It’s super small, which makes it hard to clean in those crevices. Of course, it’s not safe to submerged the coffee maker to really get in there. The crevices are so narrow most sponges are too big to wipe coffee grounds away. Each time I open the coffee maker to throw out the coffee grounds, I noticed there’s an abundance of condensation. The condensation doesn’t go away. In my previous auto drip coffee model, condensation never was an issue.

Its a CUISINART HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE REST.

  • Great little coffee maker. Likely will not hold up in a frequent use setting such as an office, lounge, commons area, etc. But it is perfect for my personal, daily use. Easy to clean, heats water fast, and brews a hot cup of coffee with minimal fuss. I put it next to my 8" grinder to show its small and convenient size.

Decided to purchase this style coffee maker after visiting family in Europe. We had made multiple cups of coffee daily and fell in love with the machine. Bought it for our own kitchen during a remodel. The machine is elite. It is simple to use and cleaning and maintaining is quite simple. It walks you through every step of the way. Definitely should keep the manual handy if you're not an every day handy / tech homeowner. The only thing I wish this coffee machine had was an option to have the water plumbed to eliminate water refill. Like some of the reviews here not everyone skims through the instructions but even coffee bean bags themselves tell you what machine or type of coffee brewing they are meant for. We are a house of 2 coffee drinkers and probably run a cleaning cycle once a month (20 minutes, set it and come back) and we do a deeper clean maybe every 2 -3 mother's where we take out the actual grinder and soak in water and vinegar. The coffee is only as good as the beans. We splurge a bit during the holidays but have found a regular favorite in a Costco medium roast. This is single handedly my favorite thing in the whole kitchen. I gave four stars because sometimes the milk function for cappuccinos or lattes can be a bit messy when it's heating/steaming the milk. We only use the milk functions during the holidays when we have guests. I say this to everyone who asks I do not think it's worth the money if you're just adding it to your kitchen but if you are remodeling or installing a whole new kitchen it's worth every penny.

    - This is a very simple machine to use. You plug it in and choose hot or cold. There are no other button such as cup size, brew type, etc. Just hot or cold. - The amount of water you pour into the machine is what it will brew in one go. It has measurements of 6 to 14 oz; but I would pour it in with the cup/mug you plan on drinking from. That way you won't put more than your cup can hold into the machine. Because once it starts that's it. - You will need to fill the machine with water each use. It doesn't reserve any for later. - It does take K cups and has a filter cup too.

  • Prior to this, I was using a Keurig K-Slim + ICED coffee maker which I used for the last 3 years but it slipped out of my hand while moving things around in my kitchen and it fell on the floor but wouldn't turn back on after that which saddened me great deal because I really love my iced coffee. I was so excited when I came across this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew coffee machine because it's not only compatible with the K cups I already had on hand, but it also brews iced coffee which I absolutely love! I'm not sure if it uses the same technology as the Keurig machine (starts with hotter water to help extract full flavor, then cools down for less ice melt) but the first cup of iced coffee I made with this machine tasted great so I'm extremely happy with this coffee machine! At first I thought there was something wrong with the door to access the brew basket. I thought it seemed to be bit stiff when opening it but then a couple days later I realized there was a small lever at the button that you push towards you to open. I was used to my Keurig machine which you just pulled up with no lever. I'm not a big fan of the design for their drip tray. I do like that it can be used to hide the K cup or brew basket depending on what you are using at the time, but I don't like the small grooves where the coffee drips. I wish it could be pulled apart to make sure it's being cleaned thoroughly. My Keurig drip tray came apart into 2 pieces which made it very easy to clean it thoroughly. My biggest complaint with this product is with the design for the water basin. When you have to carry it back & forth from the kitchen sink it can be a little tricky because the handle in the back is so small it feels like it wants to slip out of your hands and I have small hands so I could see someone with larger hands not being a fan of this design.

I love that this is glass! I have been looking for a glass cold brew container! This comes with everything included cleaning brush. I love that I can use loose leaf tea too. Perfect for that tea or coffee lover.

ADDENDUM: I contacted coffeemakers.us.com, and because I had never used this product, and it arrived broken, they were able to replace it. I am please. I purchased this item to replace a Bodum I've had for many years. This one arrived broken out of the box. I'm currently quarantined in NYC due to the Corona Virus and can't run out to buy a new one. If there was every a time I need coffee, it is now. Please replace ASAP! I would like to add, that an online text resolved this issue. Because the carafe arrived broken, I was able to get a replacement quickly. However, I was told that there is nothing they can do regarding a similar product which broke after using only in the way recommended in the directions, and with only typical frequency, after two months. A 30 day window is inadequate time for returns. Any product without an expiration date should have at least a year for refunds. A product with breaks with in weeks of purchase is defective, and there should be no issues with replacing it.
