I love everything about this product. I bought this one because it didn’t take up a lot of space. I love red so that’s the color I chose. I’m very happy with my new machine. Makes a cup of coffee pretty fast. Thank you

We have been in the market for a coffee maker for several years, we had a Cuisnart maker that produced okay coffee but one had to ad 25% more coffee to the hopper to get a decent brew. We had visited an Airbnb and nearly wanted to steal the Krups coffee maker as it produced a great brew. We looked online for the model but Krups stopped making that unusual style of maker years ago. We felt we might go back just to nab that unusual krups maker. Mostly we felt we were out of luck as most makers are of the same cheap design where the hot plate doubles as the water heater. My brother mentioned Moccamaster, after watching a few YouTube videos the Moccamaster seemed like a good choice as we simply wanted decent coffee as home. We ordered the Moccamaster and are happy with our purchase. Pro: Works well for 1 small cup of coffee as 10 (4 Oz) cups of coffee, less coffee waste no need for excess coffee to get a great brew. The Con: The “showerhead spout” is decidedly a gimmick as the water does not spray out nor drop uniformly, the water usually drizzles to one side. The shortcoming: The warmer turns of in just about one hour, I often return to get a new cup and find the warmer off. It would be nice if the warmer had an adjustable timer or went for 90 minutes. Office: This maker only produces up to 40 ounces of coffee at a time or in Starbucks terms two Venti (large) sized coffees which is not suitable for most offices.

This little coffee maker meets all my needs. The size is perfect, hardly taking up any counter space. It's practically custom fit for my favorite set of coffee mugs so there's no splatter. I like to use a small non-bleached paper basket filter that fits right into the cup when I trim the top of the filter. It brews quickly around 3 minutes and shuts itself off. There is no hot plate to deal with which I really like also. It brews a good cup of coffee.

  • Worked well until it did not. A quick connect 90 split and would not build pressure and leaked everywhere. Wrote ilavie with all the info there form asked for. I have never received any type of response from them. It's has been month now. And it's within the one year warranty. Convinced coffeemakers.us.com to take it back but I'm being charged with restocking fee. I cannot find any replacement parts online.

  • I love this automatic coffee maker. It's easy to use and clean, and the reusable filter is more environmentally friendly and economical. The pause function is great; I can pour a cup at any time. The water level indicator is very useful. The coffee maker is compact and doesn't take up much space in my kitchen. The coffee comes out delicious and piping hot. It's perfect for my morning routine! I recommend it to all coffee lovers.

Annoyingly loud and somewhat slow. Feels cheaply made. Small water reservoir, clunky lid and angled front face so now I have to turn the coffee maker slightly to the side for easy screen viewing. Coffee is ok. My last coffee maker was an older version of this one. It lasted 10 years before the pump seemed to be giving out! It was definitely better constructed, had a larger water reservoir, flat front face and a very smooth lid mechanism. My husband is going to try to repair the old one. I don't think the new one will last very long.

This contraption is pretty good, and makes good coffee. I've used this for about a year and will probably continue using it, but there are some issues with the filter cap at the bottom of the unit that have been a headache each time I use it. The cap design could be better. 1) The notches on the filter cap are smooth and not deep enough to grab onto effectively. Since it's at the bottom, it's usually wet and slippery as well. I've found that tightening the cap properly takes a fair bit of effort. Loosening can be quite difficult. 2) Not tightening the cap well, and maybe some other factor I've yet to recognize, leads to small leaks. The leaks somehow flow onto the countertop, even when the carafe is perfectly centered. This happens about 20% of the time, and used to be more like 50% when I wasn't tightening the cap like I am now. I'm a bit worried that tightening it more to reduce leaks, will also crack the plastic eventually (maybe that's why it doesn't have a better grip?). Time will tell. Unrelated to the above, it would be nice if the carafe top didn't have to be removed each time I pour coffee. Not a big deal, but peculiar.

Great product! Shame the packaging came torn, looks like I won’t be able to gift this as intended. For clarity: there’s options under “Returns” for damaged item, but not damaged packaging. Go figure. Might need to buy in person next time.

This is really just a modernized version of the classic coffee machine to me. It does a lot of things well but none of them fantastically. Very very well designed though. I’ve used the froth wand with both creamer and milk and both warm and cold, and it’s a nice touch but you won’t get what a lot of people I’ve seen here expect like at Starbucks. At Starbucks the topping on your coffee is steamed milk and this is not (I believe they also use eggs whites), steaming gives it a lot more solidity so you it can hold the caramel sauce and what not. The specialty setting is not bad, I liked it for what it was and thought it was well made. This is not an espresso machine and it will not give you the results you get at a cafe. It’s good for macchiatos still and you can dilute it as you want as well so that was nice. I’ve used the half and full carafe modes and thought they were average results. I love this design. First off the way it’s built you don’t need like 6” of clearance over the top of the machine. The water tank detaches with maybe one 2” or clearance needed. The filter and folder pull forward and are easy to remove and slide right back in. There’s a build in removable measuring spoon on the side and it clips right back into the side and you can’t really see it unless you look for it. The glass carafe is slick and light while still feeling solid enough I don’t feel like I have to handle it like a lightbulb when it’s hot however I am not testing that out intentionally. The fold down mug holder is sweet. It keeps it from splashing all over and keeps the machine really clean. I only have to wipe down some splashes and smudges once a week maybe every two weeks. What I also really like is how easy this is to clean. The descaling instructions in the manual include directions for vinegar and you don’t need measuring cups or anything. The system will cycle through its cleaning mode on its own and then I flush the system with a water cycle. Outside of the descaling there’s only like 4 pieces including the mesh filter if you’re using that. They all are easy to clean and there’s a drip stop switch which prevents most of the staining.

  • When I opened it, I giggled- it is tiny! But, if it gets me that cup of coffee, ok. I set it up to make a cup and nothing I do makes the lid stay closed! It’s stuck open! The cheap plastic is warped or something and it won’t close. Maybe that won’t bother you, but it makes it look terrible. And I live on a farm. In Oklahoma. The fly capital of America. I’m not happy about this.

  • I'm impressed. It takes quite a while to get it going but once it gets started the rest of the process happens quite quickly. The extraction is unique tasting in a good way, takes less sugar to get it where I like it too

  • 2 days into owning this and it just sliced my thumb about 1cm long as I held the filter to clean it. The top edge of the filter is razorblade sharp! And the rubber nub that goes over the filter tab, which is how you hold it when it's hot/messy, isn't glued on or stuck on in any way, so when you hold it to shake grounds over the trash, the filter flies right into the trash leaving you holding a rubber nub and regrets. I actually like the carafe, and didn't find the glass too thin at all, but the waist is so narrow it's hard to get to the bottom section to clean it out. I'm genuinely kind of mad about it cutting me though. That's not okay!

Bought as a gift for traveling and has been a game changer!

I opened it as soon as it came (since I was having caffeine withdrawals), ran a tank of water for cleaning and made a pot of Folgers. Great cup of joe, quiet operation, easy to fill and it even came with a permanent filter and measuring spoon. I can't believe what a great coffee maker this is for the price!! Very pleased with my purchase!!

  • Claims to be insulated, but it does not keep my coffee warm. If you buy this, you will be reheating your coffee in the microwave. Also the finish is peeling.
