  • Worked good for the first month! Lately I'm getting this type of mess after cleaning, when making a cup! I'm on the third floor. Walking downstairs after every cup is getting to the point where I'm gonna throw it in the trash

I wanted to switch to a thermal pot after the glass carafe on my other Hamilton Beach coffee maker broke, but many coffee makers seemed ridiculously overpriced. I didn't necessarily care if it was the same brand but this just happened to catch my eye. The main reason? Front filling. The convenient feature I didn't even know I was looking for! We have a small kitchen with limited counter apace and low hanging cabinets. With the old coffee maker, I had to pull it out from the wall to pour the water everytime. Not anymore! That small thing hooked me. Plus the lower price was a benefit as well. A great bargain. I also liked the simple design. I want to set my coffee up at night, and have a pot ready when I wake up. Occasionally I wake up before the alarm goes off, so when that happens, I want to hit brew and have it be ready quickly. This coffee maker brews 12 cups in just under 10 minutes, which is quicker than many other machines I've had. The instructions say to rinse the pot with hot water to keep it hotter longer. I do no such thing. I brew at 5AM, and by 10AM, even with the auto off option, my cup needs maybe a 15 second warm up. The auto off feature is great; no burnt coffee taste. While this machine does have the option of the warming plate, I have not used it. I've not yet had to deep clean the pot, only having it for about 2 weeks, but my coffee tastes rich and fresh every time. My daily wash routine takes only a minute. The triangular filter rinses easily, in soapy water, and the holder washes clean with a brush and a small bit of soap. Wash the pot with a soft sponge only. A brush or heavy duty along will scratch it! So far, I'm thrilled with my purchase. 5/5 stars. I recommend this for anyone who loves their coffee, and wants a quality maker to compliment their coffee. EDIT- changed rating from 5 stars to 2. Its been almost exactly 2 years since i bought this. One day I saw the clock was about 5 minutes slow, and corrected it. But it continued to get behind more and more each day, and within about two weeks it was 7 hours behind after correcting it, rendering it useless for our family who relies on the timer so we can wake up to a freshly brewed pot. After spending $130, it should have lasted a h#ll of alot longer than this.

Broke apart with coffee grinds all over. Cheaply put together. Take off market.

What a great, simple, easy-to-use system for our cold brew! Not a single coffee ground has yet to escape into the fresh brew! This is our first time ever owning a cold brew system and we're so happy with our purchase! Sleek, modern looking design and it lays on its side on our refrigerator's "skinny bottom shelf" while brewing. No problems! No leaks! Makes the perfect cold brew for our iced coffees, lattes and machiattos! WE LOVE IT! A definite must-have for your own "Do-It-At-Home" coffee bar! With our daily "Starbucks habit", this brewer easily paid for itself in just three days! If you wanna count all five of the flavoring syrups we invested in, the coffee grounds, milk and our fancy case of to-go cups with lids & straws... STILL paid for itself TOTALLY in just nine or 10 days. It's a win-win! 🏆 And our "homemades" taste identical to the big chains; maybe even better! (and I'm not limited to only one a day) (which in itself could be a problem) 🐽 lol 😜 [okay, it's DEFINITELY gonna be a problem] Hahaha... Oh! Also, one more thing! We posted a pic of some silicone-bottomed mini ice cube trays that we purchased here on coffeemakers.us.com... they yield about 36 mini cubes per tray I believe? We like to pour cold espresso or coffee into the ice molds instead of tap water... freezes up nicely! And our iced cold coffee drinks never get diluted and watered down with nasty, watery ice... just more coffee flavor! A true necessity here in the Arizona desert! I do believe we're WELL on our way to becoming coffee snobs!! And I'm okay with that!! Haha... 🤣

It's nice, small, compact. Makes a nice cup of coffee. It's fast (Faster than my old Keurig). I'd like to see a built in timer. But for now a smart plug will work. Worth the $25 I paid for it. Would like to see some rubber ft on the bottom to prevent slipping.

The coffee maker worked great until this morning. Got the dreaded E01 error code. Tried all the trouble-shooting tips online. Ordered a new Cuisinart this morning with great reviews. Hope the new one lasts a lot longer.

  • I placed it in our bar for a quick cup of coffee . Perfect size for 2 almost large cup of coffee . If you clean it well after each use it will stay white and very clean . I like the appearance and quality . It took longer than usual to receive the machine . If I do need another one I will definitely order this brand and type .

  • The bottom of the pot leaks. It’s as if the glass isn’t solid enough. After about 2-3 months of use, at which time you can’t return or get a refund or replacement. This is the 3rd paper towel for this brew. First 2 soaked up, always have to use a towel.

  • Love this product. Works great. Just wish it was a bit bigger.

  • The Sur La Table coffee maker is a nice upgrade over traditional coffee pots. It's simple enough to operate after you've just woken up but has some nice features that make things a little nicer. You can set the number of cups you want to make, or "all" to use up all the water in the basin. The top of the pot keeps water from dripping down onto the heating element and making that dribbling "ssss" sound that means you have some clean-up to do. There is an option to make the brew more "bold" but I couldn't tell a difference with the coffee I use. The coffee pot beeps when it is done brewing and also beeps when it auto-shuts off after four hours. One thing to note there is a lot more gray on the exterior of the machine than I anticipated when looking at the listing. It wasn't a big deal to me, but if you are trying to match your other appliances or backsplash, take note. (See pic.)

  • Great travel mug. Could've been better quality. Fell from my counter to the sink and now I have a broken lid.

Was advertised as new but arrived in awful condition. Clearly this french press had been around the block a few times and putting it in a new box isn't going to hide that.

My wife is the coffee drinker, not me, and she really loves this machine. She’s been testing it out today and, so far, has had 3 espressos and 2 cappuccinos. Someone, please help me. This seems to be a very nice machine. We have never owned one before, so I have nothing to compare it to. It is relatively easy to use, after you get past the slight learning curve of how to set it up. Once it is set up, the actually process is very easy and the touchscreen is simple to figure out. When making espresso, it’s no noisier than her Keuring, but with cappuccinos, the milk frother does make some noise. It is emitting pressurized steam, after all. Everything is really easy to clean. Most of the time you can get away with just rinsing everything off. My wife is really loving experimenting with this machine.

So I've actually had to get 2 of these makers. Each with a different issue! The first one worked and the after a few seconds it work just turn off. The one in the video is the second and it was a refurbished unit, due to all of the new ones being sold out. So far.. 4 weeks it is still working. I would not buy again.

  • This coffee pot has been a lifesaving addition to my kitchen. I am a little spoiled now over my old Mr. Coffee. It accepts both grounds and pods making it versatile for different tastes. I tend to use the grounds, but my husband prefers pods. We set it up so it's ready for when it goes to work at 4 am, and then he will set it up for me when I leave for work at 7 am. It doesn't take long to brew a pot Programming was not difficult, but I had to refer to the directions a few times. The machine is narrow and slides in a small space with water reservoir in the back. It's easy to wipe down easily with just a washrag and towel. The flexibility of this coffee maker is unique. I use it everyday and it has not let me down. It allows everyone in the household a brew specific to their tastes and I hope it lasts for years. The operation is simple and the display is easy to read. I have no complaints or concerns about this coffee maker and I'm happy it's a welcomed addition to my kitchen family of small appliances.
