  • I absolutely LOVE this Pour Over Coffee Maker!!! Who would have thought!!! It's so perfect and it makes the perfect cup of coffee. It's so easy to use...it's just as stated "pour over", it's just that simple. The filter is reusable, just rinse and reuse, as it is stainless steel. The design is simple but so elegant and this coffee maker takes up a small footprint on your counter, it's the perfect size. It's great quality and well made. I love the borosilicate glass it's sturdy and durable. This would definitely make a great gift for anyone, tea or coffee drinker. Please keep in mind that when you use this pour over coffee maker, you pour slowly and watch it so that you don't make it spill over. This coffee maker has been my choice since I got it, rather than using my big coffee maker. A great, great value. I highly, highly recommend.

  • I love the look of this travel case. I chose green and the size will fit everything I need it too. I'm Not impressed with the quality. I remember cases of this style years ago and the "hinge" section will rip easily. For real camping or serious hiking, this would not survive. Sadly I see this breaking. And the case is very thin material. I like this brand, usually the quality is better.

I have used this a handful of times but still felt compelled to write a review. As a loyal Starbies drinker, I realized my daily coffee costs were totally avoidable. I’m a latte, cappuccino, espresso drinker so I had my eye on a Nespresso for awhile. I ended up falling in love with this machine bc I can brew a pot of coffee for guests, or a single cup for my spouse. This machine is extremely well made, the functionality is simple and smart. Even the frother function feels strong and not just an afterthought. I’ve made cappuccinos, lattes, a single cup of coffee, and a straight espresso. All taste just as good, if not better than Starbies. I like flavored drinks but not the syrups, Target has a great line of flavored espresso capsules for pretty cheap. Make sure to get espresso capsules and not the new pods!

  • Purchased this for my son's dorm room so he could have coffee first thing in the morning at a fraction of the cost of espresso cart. Heat the water up in the microwave, make the coffee while taking a morning shower or just getting dressed. I've had many glass French presses over the decades, but never a stainless one. It turns out terrific coffee on par with our stove top Bialetti espresso maker, and uses 1/4 less coffee grounds to do it. Win-win.

The glass on the coffee pot is super thin, This was my 2nd replacement, as I accidentally knocked the other one off the drying rack. However THIS one has started to rust inside around the metal ring. Its only been a month since purchase. Very disappointed.

  • One day it turned on by itself and then the following code lit up. Nothing we do resets it. Total junk now.

  • EDIT: 2017-Dec-27 I picked it up while sitting at my desk, and went to twist the top off. Suddenly the bottom shatters, and water just goes all over me, my desk, and the office carpet. Luckily it wasn't coffee. Old review: Use it at least once a week after getting it for cheap from a Thinkgeek sale. Hopefully no fakes are going around? It looks like a lot of them break but I've dropped mine and everything, still seals perfectly, etc.

  • The coffee machine explodes with hot coffee And coffee powder all over me and kitchen wall. I see another review had the same problem of coffee machine exploding.

    Love it

  • This carafe is perfect! If you are looking for a cool unique unisex money saving gift - this is it! I was impressed by the packaging when this coffee maker arrived! Heavy duty box feels expensive and sturdy! I was almost intrigued by its looks! When I finally decided to open it I found two silicone coasters. So sweet! The instructions are very clear and make you feel comfortable using this brewer right off the bat! I follow the instructions and cold brew coffee comes out so perfect every time! So easy to use, so tasty to sip. I add half and half into mine and it is a perfection. Here is how I save money! I get a bag of coarse grind coffee at costco for about $11 for 900grams bag. Come home and brew my coffee in this amazing and sexy looking carafe. When you do math the cost per glass comes out to be just 30 cents!!!! That is about 13 times cheaper than Starbucks cold brew that is about $4 per cup! It looks cool in my fridge and on my counter! Great rubber seal around the cap and comfy grip around the neck of the brewer. Great design! This is that perfect unique and useful gift to yourself or anyone who loooooves coffee :)

  • I love this coffee maker, it makes great coffee, and I love the look and the easy to clean, etc. I have found I like the Tchibo coffee or the Lavazza coffee beans for this. I also don't love the water reservoir making it hard to fill when under an upper cabinet. We just bought a smaller necked bottle at Ikea but you can find this kind at any store which we fill up with water, and then easily pour into the reservoir without having to move the machine.

  • This pour over is great. The stainless filter cleans easily and you save on paper filters. It looks great on a coffee table. Sturdy and elegant. Update - The filter liner (a kind of mesh) has started to become undone and the coffee grains lodges in the groove. Disappointed.

  • Coffee lover here. Thought I found the best coffee machine for my lifestyle. Whole beans. Check Programmable. Check. Smart app. Check Useless warranty and lack company support to fix broken part. Check Was in deep emails with the company for weeks after buying this machine as a Xmas gift. Because the machine broke a month after Xmas (water wouldn’t filter from tank to heater) the company kept telling me to get help from coffeemakers.us.com. Which coffeemakers.us.com stated it was past 30 days for refund. Waste of 240 buck. Don’t buy. Save yourself trash to bring out.

Positives: It brews fast and well. Negative - TERRIBLE DESIGN. The manual shut off / on for the filter holder is bad. Combine that with a flat surface under the pot, with no place to catch drips, and the design is awful. (See photos) When you pull out the pot, you must flip OFF the switch on the filter holder. Otherwise, it will continue to drip onto the base, which is level with the counter. Level = no place to catch the drips, and coffee runs onto your counter and floor, if you are not lucky. If you fail to flip off the switch, you must stop to clean a spill when you are sleepy, hungry and in need of caffeine. Now, the next bleary morning when you forget to flip ON the switch before brewing, then the filter cup does not drain, and you have a mess to clean. If you add more than 6 cups of water, then the cup will runneth over and makes a mess. If you add only 6 cups of water, then you have grounds that overflow the filter and you have a mess to clean. If you add only 4 cups of water, they you can just flip-on the switch and feel stupid without having to stop your morning to clean. "Well Jeff, it's not a dumb design, the problem is that the consumer / you are stupid." That's what auto manufacturers said before seat belts and airbags. The difference is that we have 365 chances per year to fail with a coffee pot. By the way, if you think you are getting an insulated carafe, forget it. It is stainless, but it does not seem insulated to me.
