  • This pour over set is perfect for my needs. I have a very small kitchen and wanted to make a coffee & tea area in my dining room to save my limited counter space. The filter is high quality and has produced smooth coffee consistently for the few days I’ve used it. I recommend using a coarse grind if you’re having an issue with grounds getting stuck in the filter. I love the simplicity and cleaning is a breeze, everything easily rinses out. I saw the cork didn’t fit well in other reviews but mine fits great. I like the leather grip, it easily snaps on and off and fits securely. It feels high quality and adds a nice flair. Combined with an electric kettle I also bought on coffeemakers.us.com, I have fresh coffee in under 5 minutes that’s actually kind of fun to make. This set up is pretty enough to leave out, and if it holds up, the purchase was well worth it.

Moxed feelings but LOVE the concept!! It came in a pretty somewhat timely manner, really no fuss there, my biggest issue is I feel like I am going to be making tea ALL DAY everyday!! My TWO men (hubs and son) drink probably 4 of these PER DAY! I truly wish other than the huge restaurant style tea makers, that they would make these just a few more quarts bigger!!! I cannot comment yet on the taste as I am literally making the FIRST pitcher as I wrote this! It came in today lol, so I took away one star just for the size issue, and haven’t added yet another bc I cannot speak on the taste yet!!

Pros: the coffee maker does a great job brewing the coffee fast and good! Cons: after brewing the inside gets messy. The coffee spills everywhere in the inside.

  • The Cold Brew Coffee Maker Pitcher, 64 Oz Heavy Duty Wide Mouth Glass Mason Jar Pour-Spout Lid with Stainless Steel Filter arrived just in time to enjoy my favorite summertime brew! You can make a big batch of concentrate to make several glasses of iced coffee. Just use your favorite coarsely ground beans, measure and pour them into the filter, add water, cover with the lid and place in the refrigerator. I refrigerated mine for 24 hours. I did not have whole beans on hand and my grounds were a little too fine but the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The filter did its job and no grounds seeped through. It’s simple to use and simple to clean. A great way to make iced coffee at home!

Decided to spend a little more money on what I thought was going to be a decent coffee maker, but this was a disappointment. Within a month of using this, the top plastic lid had warped, making it hard to seal the top and prevent tons of steam from escaping. Even when I tried to adjust the top cover before brewing, somehow it would still end up out of place. A cyclical problem now - escaping steam warps lid, which prevents proper closure, which results in escaping steam. See picture. This is not acceptable and I’ll be replacing this coffeemaker with something else.

  • Loved that out of the box it has everything you need but water and coffee. I been digging on Kona lately. After following the cleaning instructions I then put this to use. Ground the beans and I prefer 1.5 scoops of beans to get that correct flavor. Fill up the water to the fill line, set in your mesh filter, then add coffee beans of your choice, add ICE in the provided cup, plug it in and press the led button to start. Flip your drain over to allow it to flow and wait. About 3 mins and you are ready to add in flavoring and go. Such an amazing little machine and it blows away Kcup options without the added plastic waste. Will report back later on the durability of the unit but build quality seems really good so far. Highly recommend if you love iced coffee without the trendy coffee shop cost.

  • This is absolutely beautiful. This is amazing, I love it. Packaging was excellent.

  • This is a decent coffee maker but for the price you’ve got to be realistic. So for all the wishful thinkers (like I was), no, the coffee does not magically come out cold. It’s not brewed quit as hot as a normal coffee maker but it’s definitely warm and will melt most of the ice if you follow the directions they provide. I recommend doing this instead: - brew the coffee as directed but omit putting ice in the cup - leave it to sit until it reaches room temperature or put it in the fridge if you need it quicker - add ice (it only fills the cup half way so you shouldn’t get splashed) So yes, it does make iced coffee, it’s just not as instant as advertised but the filter and cup are pretty good quality, so I am happy with it and will continue using it :)

This is the best bang-for-the-buck coffee device out there, and it's been around so long that the design has been improved many times over. This is basically the grandmother of the $5 pour over cup being sold at your local third wave coffee shop. Because the hole is especially small and it drains slightly slower, the coffee brews a bit stronger. It takes readily available #2 Melitta filters (or any generic, flat-bottom type). The lip fits securely over any of my mugs, even my thermos. The cutout at the bottom allows me to see how full my cup is. The grooves on top help keep the water flowing, and the shape of the drain hole is extremely precise. In other words, this is a well engineered piece of equipment. SUPER easy to clean since it's just one seamless piece of plastic. Perfect for a travel kit because it's so lightweight, doesn't take up too much space, and is not fragile. I own a ton of coffee devices including the Hario V60, Beehouse dripper, Aeropress, Bodum french press, Clever dripper and a Moka pot, in order of preference, and I'd place the humble Melitta third right behind the Beehouse and before the Aeropress (which is inexplicably trendy right now). The Hario V60 usually makes a sweeter, lighter cup while the Melitta tends towards a heavier, smokier cup. Sometimes the Melitta is better. It depends on the bean. The coffeemakers.us.com price of $5 is actually a little high to me. I've seen this for as cheap as $2.99 at my local supermarket, but it's a steal either way. Made in USA.

I have a stainless steel 1 cup pour over drip which makes great coffee. I wanted to try this ceramic dripper for comparison. The hole at bottom is huge so coffee drips much quicker while using a paper filter with this ceramic dripper. I do not use a filter with the stainless still dripper because the mesh is very fine. I find it odd that the paper filter sticks out of the bottom hole of this ceramic dripper. You have to be careful the filter doesn't tear as the coffee drips. The final product is weaker and less flavorful than with the stainless steel dripper. I think the coffee drips too fast with this ceramic dripper. I also have to use more beans with the ceramic versus the stainless steel to get the same strength of coffee. I still like the ceramic dripper because it is much easier to clean/wash than the stainless steel dripper. But if I want a robust coffee the stainless steel dripper is a winner. The listing says this is white, but it is really ivory. I would have preferred if this was white. I included a photo showing the color difference of this dripper side by side with my coffee cup. I also show the hole size difference between the ceramic and the stainless steel.

Finally replaced an old industrial coffee maker when it began to leak. Decided on Cuisinart because I own other appliances made by them. First its big.. almost too big for my little kitchenette. Impossible to use the carafe to pour water into the chamber in a tight area. Plus you have no way of measuring how much water is in the carafe until you pour the water in. Then you can visually see a measuring stick built into the water chamber. So, I'm using an old carafe that I can measure water from. The charcoal filter is weird. If you are using filtered water, then you may want to ignor this entire process. Plus booklet states to replace every 60 days? But they only give you a single filter. The brewing process is fast and I hate that once the coffee cycle is completed the unit auto shuts off. That means you have to depend on the coffee staying hot inside the stainless carafe. Ifs its more than an hour, hit brew with grinder off and it will restart the unit. I can't figure out how to keep the unit on! Hard to clean but most are. You can remove the part holding the permanent filter or disposable paper filters to clean as well as the bean holder. The instructions where when the clean light goes on sounds like a nightmare so have a bottle of white vinegar on standbye always. My first two brews with a dark Columbian premiim roast were adequate. Cannot adjust temperature and instructions about using hot water is confusing. Grinder is not as loud as others but it will wake the dead on a Sunday morning. A bit overpriced but you get to auto grind whole beans so I'm giving it 4stars. Looks high tech, brushed chrome and black with Cuisinart logo embossed on front. Lastly, cycle for regular and grind brewing is superfast so waiting for that first cup of java is going to make you happy. ENJOY!

I've only had it a few days, but so far so good. It makes a decent cup of coffee pretty quickly. The voice command options through Alexa feel a little gimmicky because you have to set everything up on the maker, so it feels a little weird to do that and not just press the "On" button to start it. I guess if you were throwing a party or something, and you wanted to set up the pot but brew later, the voice command would come in handy. However, having the Alexa integration allows you to set up routines so you're coffee starts in the morning without you having to do anything (you just have to set up the pot the night before), which I have really liked. I do wish there were more specific options available such as temperature and keep warm settings like on the smart kettles. It's basically on or off. Technically, it will keep the pot warm while the maker is on, but it won't shut off after a specific time. I haven't run into any issues with getting the pot out or leaks in the carafe that others have mentioned. Overall, I really like it, and it does what I need it to do.

  • Really like the none skid silicone sleeve that comes with it. We are just becoming cold brew fans and this came in handy.

This machine makes great coffee, and lots of it. But there is exposed lead on the bottom of the thermal carafe. This is a safety concern, especially with young children in the house. When I contacted Moccamaster customer service about my concern and sent them the attached photo of a positive lead swab, they stopped replying. We threw the Moccamaster carafe away and are using an alternative container. Considering they sell the carafe alone for over $100, it should be safe.

The machine just delivered and already enjoying my Turkish Coffee. I have another brand but smaller, this one is on the bigger side. It says you can make 4 coffees but I think if your cups are on the smaller side you could even do 6 coffees at the same time. Just what I expected, good
