Cuisinart confirmed today 120424 over the phone that the WRONG CHARCOAL FILTER HOLDER was provided with our new unit. It does not fit into the grooves in the water tank and ultimately comes lose and floats. Cuisinart is sending us a new holder but wanted to make others aware of this issue. We’ve had three of these coffee makers. We really like the carafe-less design, which for some reason is hard to find. Our last one however was a disappointment as the water tank cracked after less than 2 years of careful handwashing. Once I receive the correct filter I’m hoping this one holds up.
I love everything about this compact coffee maker by Hamilton Beach! It’s small and fits nicely below the cabinets on your countertop. The black and stainless steel color combination gives it a nice modern look that matches our other appliances perfectly. It takes standard size coffee filters and you pour the water through the back just as you would with a traditional coffee maker. The handle to the pot is easy to hold and it pours perfectly with no spillage. The coffee maker has a 2 hour automatic shut off to give you that peace of mind. When brewing/turned on, the button is lit up with red around it. You can also brew in 2 different strengths: regular or bold. We prefer bold, as the taste is stronger. It brews really quickly compared to other coffee makers we have used in the past. There is a delay brew option which is a great option to have as you just program the day before and wake up to that fresh cup of coffee in the morning with no wait! When you set the delay brew, the button lights up with green around it and this reminds you that it is set. The clock interface is bright blue and easy to read. I also love the fact that all of the buttons are on the front. All in all, this is a fantastic coffee maker that makes a delicious cup of coffee ☕️!! I would definitely recommend!
My k-cup coffee maker is a great investment. It’s easy to manage, keep clean and very convenient to making a great cup of coffee. As always, I love my red.
Dont buy refurbished, November I bought first unit it arrived with broken reservoir possibly due to improperly packaged. It was returned to coffeemakers.us.com. After two weeks 2nd unit arrived and doesn't cycle water as if it were plugged. Very bad refurbishing department needs better quality control.
Love it. I have it for almost 2 months and the flavor of the coffee is fabulous. I have read the reviews about exploding pot on the stove, let’s face it glass carafes were not made for gas stovetops. I invested an extra $28.00 and ordered an infrared electric burner 7” single plate. In less then 10 minutes I have the perfect pot of coffee.
This little (and I mean little) coffee maker is adorable and works great. Been using it almost daily for six months. Functionally, it has given me no problems. But would it have killed them to make it just a half an inch taller? This is not 1954, and we are not using dainty little widemouth, squat coffee mugs that sit delicately on a saucer; most of us are using, big fat mugs that we get from gift shops, or mugs large enough to have clever things written on the side of them, and none of these mugs will actually fit in this machine without removing the drip tray. And as you can see from the photos, they **just barely** don’t fit. Literally an extra half an inch of clearance would have made this machine far easier to use on a daily basis. This is my only complaint. Otherwise it works flawlessly. So if you are a user of small, dainty coffee cups, by all means this is the machine for you. If you live in a dorm, or have a very small space and you want coffee in that space, then this machine is for you. If all of your coffee mugs are on the larger “gift shop/souvenir” variety, you are quickly going to become frustrated with this extremely small, yet very adorable, coffee maker.
While it looks great and seems to work perfectly 95% of the time… I waited a Cpl months to write a review because I assumed it was user error.. but it has just leaked everywhere out of nowhere for the 4th time. I use it daily. Sometimes more than once. On the timer (timer works great!) or by manual start sometimes. It has only leaked everywhere during brewing cycle 4 times out of maybe 100 brews.. but still.. it’s brand new. I tinkered with the positioning of the baskets, made sure everything was snapped, clean and snug, I only fill the coffee basket about half full and the water tank about half full (meaning 6-8 cups per brew- it’s a 12 cup machine) but every once in a while I walk into a mess! I really wanted to love it but I’ll be ordering something else to replace it unfortunately.
Maker displays Descale in window. After descaling exactly per instruction machine shut down and would not power back up! After researching on YouTube discovered it’s a common problem and Keurig is aware??? The water heater has a reset breaker on heating coil internally. To reset you have to remove outer panel (very difficult) and insert a paper clip in hole in center of white reset disc… see picture IMO terrible engineering when this happens to a 3 month old unit that was $170! Keurig has lost my business even tho I got machine to work again!
It fits perfectly next to my canisters and doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter.
⭐⭐⭐ I purchased this Keurig early 2023, it is now mid 2024 and half of it still works. I know it's time consuming to make a whole pot of coffee, but I'd rather do that than have a little mold treat in my coffee every morning. ✨PROS✨ -Its a great coffee maker overall, using the standard K Cups. -This system has a feature where prior to brewing your cup, you can select 'STRONG' to make a stronger cup but I honestly don't taste the difference. -Great range of sizes, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz. -Compatible with espresso K Cups where you can select a shot. -And of course, the latte and cappuccino feature, but more about that in the cons. ❌CONS❌ -We specifically spent the extra $ on this maker because of the latte and cappuccino feature. You are able to use the little steam cup that is provided to make steamed milk. This part of the Keurig lasted about 6 months before it completely stopped working. I've tried everything to fix it, nothing. So now it can only be used as a standard Keurig. -Completely my fault, but the removeable parts are NOT dishwasher safe! Don't be lazy like me, just handwash it! (except the steamer cup of course) -The water needs to be cleaned weekly, even twice a week. It collects mold VERY EASILY. Also, make sure you are using cold or room temperature water to fill the tank. -The whole system collects mold very easily. It says to run it a few times with just the hot water but this is not enough. -The water tank is very slim and small. In a household of two, we are constantly refilling it. Overall, I would say don't waste the extra money on the latte extra because it barely lasted 6 months. Keurig is a great "idea" but the mold factor is just too icky. Its impossible to clean the whole system. I know its time consuming to make a whole pot of coffee but ehh..the mold is a big no-no for me!
This is a very compact EXCELLENT coffee maker that pack a punch! I was surprised at how good & strong my cup of coffee tasted - & this was with generic ground coffee. Very easy to use. Comes with a convenient ground coffee filter (which I used) as well as a K-Cup filter. To clean up I found that unplugging, putting the entire thing in the sink, and THEN removing the filter works best. Turn the tap water on to wash the filter & base. Love this Horavie Single Serve Coffee Maker!!
This Cold Brew maker is great. I am a devoted fan of cold brew and wanted one piece that I colud use at home and this Bodum Cold Brew jar totally gained my trust. I have owned various pieces from Bodum and so far I have no complaints
The thermometer tells you when the water is just right for the perfect brew... so either the thermometer is WRONG, the press is not built to withstand the heat, or they didn’t glue the magnet on right, because the magnet fell right off after the first use due to, I’m guessing, getting too hot and loosening the glue enough to allow it to come off..... definitely going to try to return
Me encanto, enseguida lo estrené. Estoy muy contenta. Muy lindo y excelente calidad.
I ordered the INSTANT POT Coffee Maker for my 81-year-old mom and hoped that this machine would satisfy my mom’s needs; who incessantly complained that the previous k-cup coffee machine I bought her, didn’t produce hot enough water. A bonus, however, was that the maker was red and matched my mom’s red and black kitchen décor and other appliances; product’s description identified the color as maroon, but it appeared redder to my mom and me. The INSTANT POT Coffee Maker was sleek in appearance and didn’t take up too much counter space. Mom really liked that she could remove the water reservoir to fill and was excited to get the companion reusable pod with handle, because she had never seen or used one before, and she’s accumulated a variety of ground coffee to brew. I also needed to find a coffee maker that was user-friendly and one that wasn’t embellished with a whole bunch of bells and whistles – one less complicated to operate, and this coffee maker fit that bill. The multiple brew sizes were also a big hit for mom, as she tends to drink her coffee so slowly that it gets cold. Mom, now, makes multiple small cups of coffee or tea throughout day, because the speed to which the coffee machine produced the coffee, was relatively fast, and she didn’t have to stand and wait around a lengthy amount of time in order to collect another cup. Moreover, mom was able to use one K-cup pod multiple times, because she’s brewing only 8 ounces at a time – she claimed the additionally brewed cups produced were still robust in flavor. The INSTANT POT machine really did brew a steamy hot cup of coffee in 90 seconds, and my mom found that out when she placed her finger under the group head to check whether the coffee was coming out hot or not – and yes, the coffee singed her finger. Asked why she did that, mom said that, “the machine started so quickly,” that she “didn’t think that the water could possibly be hot in that short amount of time” – lesson learned. All of the K-cup pods we already owned, were also compatible with the INSTANT POT coffee machine.
