Update - stopped working, haven't had it for a year. I take excellent care of it. I put water in, coffee in, press brew and nothing happens. At all. I unplugged it. I tried to see if it needed cleaned or something. Everything seems fine, it just simply stopped working. Very disappointed. And now I have to drive a half hour to town for coffee.
Every effort is made to represent this as being made in the USA. See attached photo. It isn’t. China. All I want is a proper cup of coffee made in a proper Made in USA coffee pot. I thought $100 could get me there. I was wrong.
I've been trying to replicate my favorite latte from a well known coffee shop for years! This is it! I've wasted probably thousands of dollars on espresso machines, frothers, steamers, products and materials only to fail over and over again. When I saw a latte maker on a TV show, I went straight to the Google and found this amazing contraption. I sucked it up, spent what I thought would be another wasted few hundred dollars, and waited patiently for my overnight delivery. I looked at the box for a few days before I finally got the courage to open it and braced myself for confusing and complicated directions. Plot twist - it was so simple! I plugged her in, frothed my almond milk, brewed the latte, added my sauces and OMG! No more $10 lattes! This is it! Buy it. Just do it. You'll be so glad you did! Also buy the Lavazza espresso pods. The taste is 100% as good, if not better than coffee shop espresso!
Easy to reuse. Not classic shape. Not suitable for travel.
Beautiful pour over...... people mentioned it leaking out the view window. Problem solved it you just put a cut straw in the hole. 😁
I had purchased this product thinking that I would receive a new and unused item. The moment I removed the lid to take a look at everything, already I could smell old coffee, and upon closer inspection there were scratches and scuffs on the side. For a moment, I wondered if I had not made a mistake and accidentally ordered a used item, but upon double checking my purchase history, indeed the condition was described as new. My press was definitely NOT new though, as there were even stains inside the cup and coffee grounds at the bottom. I will be returning this.
Actually I'm drinking a cup of Keurig-brewed coffee while I type this review, to remind myself why I love this new Breville coffeemaker (which is about as different from a Keurig as you can get). Now, don't get me wrong: Keurig makes a fine product. My husband got me a Keurig machine three years ago and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. It's easy to use, clean-up is next to nothing, and there are lots of different coffee pods available on the market. But recently, I had freshly-brewed coffee at a restaurant, and then later at a house party, and thought, "Wow. I've missed this taste." I wanted something to give me that taste I'd missed. Something bold. Something truly satisfying. I wasn't really looking forward to buying ground coffee again, dealing with the hassle of brewing it, having to be careful not to break the carafe (and not to mention now having two different coffee machines on my kitchen counter, since I never planned to retire the Keurig machine.) But this Breville machine has exceeded my expectations. First, it makes darn good coffee. I've tried the various settings (Fast, Gold, Strong) and every cup has tasted great. I've made single cups (see my photo #1) as well as multiple cups using the carafe. Second, it's fun to use. Really. The menu display is easy to follow and even though there are lots of options, it's user-friendly. Also: I like the option of using the basket (photo #2) for a larger brew, and the cone (photo #3) for a smaller brew. The basket utilizes a gold filter (which is included, in the box, with the coffeemaker) or paper filters (also included). The cone, likewise, can use paper filters (not included -- buy size #4 because it fits just right) or a gold filter (also not included). My only disappointment so far is that the coffee doesn't brew as hot as I like it, even with the brew temperature set at maximum (208). Especially when I add some milk to the coffee -- it's cooled down to the point where I frequently have to microwave the cup to get it hot again. Breville does suggest (in the enclosed printed manual, which is very thorough) warming the carafe up with some hot water, then emptying it out a minute later before brewing your coffee. Maybe that will help get (and keep) the coffee temperature a bit higher.
This is an amazing coffee maker that has elevated my home brewing experience beyond expectations. So I love coffee as does my husband but he likes plain Jane nothing fancy just plain old coffee (drip at home, gas station, airplanes, diners, etc). Now, enter the Braun Multiserve coffee machine and this elevates both of our coffee drinking to a new level. It is so high end! It is quick and intuitive to setup straight out of the box. The feature I like the most is the flexible brewing size options which are great for when you just want a cup or travel mug sized serving and not an entire pot. Also my husband and I both agree that the Golden Cup technology (a certification that makes sure it brews at the optimal brewing temperature) truly brews a better cup of coffee. My only complaint is similar to what others have said in that the pot is difficult to clean unless you have tiny child-like hands which I do haha but I prefer to make my husband clean it and he tells me I should since my hands are smaller. Overall, I would highly recommend this coffee machine to anyone looking to upgrade their home brewing experience!
Works with k-cups which is nice that i dont have to seek out a specific brand, etc. However, If you fill the water to 14 oz the outside of the coffee maker will leak. So far, it has not done so when using less than 14oz of water. Picture is from first use after deep cleaning the night before. Leakage comes through the seal. Makes a bit of a mess.
Horrible product Manufacturer defeat, the lid inside ,that hold the K-cup get strech out with the hot water and doesn’t hold any longer . Manufactor Co. try to ask for more money to exchange to a updated version of the product, ridiculous ,and coffeemakers.us.com after 30 days will not refund the total amount you paid and charge a restocking fee , you wont get you all money back for a manufactured defeat product , Not Happy
First let me say that I am not a coffee snob what do you like my coffee in the morning. The very first thing about this coffee maker is it is beautiful. It is easy to clean and gives you a very hot pot of coffee quickly that tastes great. It is very easy to use. If I have any complaints about this coffee maker and I’ve had quite a few, it is the carafe although it is a quality carafe made a glass the cover on it pops off quite easily it when you’re trying to clean. It would be very easy to break the glass if you’re not paying attention to it since it is on the thin side. A replacement carafe is almost $40. Also when poring a full pot you must do it slowly or you’ll make a mess dripping it on your counter.Other than that it is on the pricey side but it works nice and looks great.
Wow really impressed I had the 2.0 keurig for many years and loved it but wouldn't puncture the bottom of pod anymore for some reason so had to replace I decided on this one and works as expected like the ice coffee or tea button had that on the other one like the sleep mode on maker when you push on button starts up easy to operate just push size cup you want add pod & extra strong if you want and it's ready to do it's thing so far no issues only thing I wished about it water compartment was opposite side my old one was around the back this is on the left but I don't lift it off each time to fill I have a tea kettle I use to fill much easier just pour in water front of compartment is not clear as you can see so have to watch don't over fill but I did the same before so I'm used to that .When you remove the tray you put your cup on while brewing there's a cup indentation where to put your to go cup haven't used that yet but looks like I'm going to really like this one also has a clock which old one did not haven't used the temperature of coffee yet it's right temperature for me but you can add or subtract temperature to your likeness came with samples of coffee and my K-cup so you can brew your own ground coffee I would recommend it's a bit pricey but if I get many years from this as I'm hoping it would be money well spent 👍
I was charged for a NEW coffee maker but when the box arrived it said it was refurbished. The manual says I only get a 90 day warranty because it is refurbished. The coffee pot does not pour coffee without it spilling unless you take the top off. I do like the grinder that holds a 1/2 lb of whole beans.
I used this 2 times and coffee grounds went everywhere! It pods don’t sit in correctly.
I have had this coffee maker since 2001 and it refuses to quit. It makes a solid 5 cups of coffee, either instantly or scheduled. There is a reusable filter and it is easy to clean out. It is small, simple, and compact. I have used it camping, RVing, or brought it along to events just in case brew was needed.
