I tell ya. Out of the box, did the required flush and water hardness setting. This brewed the absolute best cup of coffee hands down. Used the Gold setting which is perfect. Medium ground Dunkin Donuts original beans. 6-cup setting on our Cuisinart grinder. Filled the tank on this just over the 6 cup mark. And Wow! This beats Bunn, Cuisinart, and Technivorm. I've had them all and this makes the best cup. By far. We like our coffee medium pretty much and use half and half. If you are like me trying different pots, then look no more. This thing is a keeper! Edit: Still making great coffee and still extremely happy with this coffee maker. I went ahead and picked up the Breville Grinder to complete this set and let me say that it's an amazing grinder. Set it for 6 cups and brewed 6 cups and it's spot on. The flavor is just amazing. Well worth all the money. Way to go Breville.

I made my first cup of coffee this morning using the press and it came out great! The mechanism works very smoothly and the handle stays cool unlike some metal ones I’ve used in the past. Pouring action was great and no spillage. If you’re looking for a french press, you’ve found it!

Love my new ice coffee maker. Only wished it came with some measurements for the amount of coffee to put into cylinder. I had to watch a video on YouTube to figure out the amount of coffee grounds to start with.

I’ve never been more disappointed. I bought this thinking it would be great to fit under my cabinets when not in use. I love the brand. Had one for 3 years. Used this everyday for about a week now and the metal rim IS LEAKING. I about burned myself pouring!!! Thankfully my two year old who is always by me, was a few feet away. It’s complete junk. Don’t even have the box anymore to return it since it seemed fine the first use. I took a video and screen shot it I’ll update a new one didn’t feel like making more of a mess this morning.

  • This is actually the second one I’ve bought! The first one I had for 2 years and just needed to get a new one. It works really well and it’s the perfect size considering I’m the only one that drinks coffee in my house. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the carafe does leak when I pour water into the back. My first one didn’t do that so I think I just got dud this time! Still love it though!

Awesome coffee pot. Great design and functionality. The mesh coffee filter is nice. still working on getting the perfect grind size for it, but seems you'll just expect dregs in the bottom of the pot after a brew. We like the temp settings and the green button glow!

How do you sell a 5 cup coffee maker that is really only a 3 cup pot!! I would buy a Kerrigan if I didn't want 5 cups!

I put a crack in the carafe in November of 2021. (Item # SP0024319 Description: CARAFE ANZ NA) On November 9ᵀᴴ I ordered a replacement. I was told it should ship within a couple weeks. Over the course of several months Breville sent me emails that begin with, "We apologize for the delay in regards to your recent order..." I received two such emails before November 30th. The text was so small it was near impossible to read. See screen shot attached. So unprofessional. On November 30th and December 7ᵀᴴ Breville sent me emails which partially stated, "If everything is already working great, we humbly ask for a moment of your time to share your experience by quickly posting a review to our website." The carafe wouldn't actually ship until May 13th of 2022. I received four more emails from Breville between Dec 10th, 2021 and Jan 24th, 2022 asking if I would like to keep or cancel my order. Each time I selected Keep. On Feb. 2ᴺᴰ 2022 I was sent a receipt and was sure it would ship. Then nothing until today, May 13th, 2022. This is one company I'll avoid like the plague moving forward. You can't blame this on supply chain anything as the order was placed in November of 2021. And they still sell this product. Buy two and keep one for parts, or purchase from a reputable company. Not this one.

This little rope burns out before the water rises. Just buy the siphon with a better burner and avoid the rope. I went back to my pot of coffee and am returning this one

  • Very nice coffee maker! Looks more sleek then the one that I had. My old coffee maker was rusting on the warming pad and made a horrible scraping sound with the carafe. Also coffee was not super hot when brewed with my cheap machine. I was glad to get this one to replace my old one. Works very well and looks fancy too. My coffee was very hot when brewed and even after adding cold liquid creamer! The boscare comes with a measuring spoon and a reusable filter. I feel like it was a bit on the high side of price especially with the filter looking a little fragile. The plastic part of the filter seems sturdy, I just have to be careful when rinsing to not ripe the thin mesh. Did love that it had a "strength" button since I do love a strong coffee. It was easy to set up time and program it for my mornings! Arrived well packaged and on time. Overall an upgrade to what I had and served up amazing HOT coffee. Thank you!

  • Mold in the bottom of pot —- cannot be cleaned —- tried multiple products —— not safe —— should have all the insides be stainless —- this is a rubber bolt

  • No voltage is in item description, but was shipped to USA market knowing it has 110 volts in regular outlets. It takes 15 min to bring to boil cup of water.

  • Makes great coffee, scratch is super easily. Two weeks in and it's covered in scratches. For the price, it should not scratch so easily. The paint literally just comes off like with your fingernail. Maybe getting the uncoded one is the way to go.

  • Crushes my Kcups and coffee grounds pour into the cup of coffee. Not worth the money - I'm sending mine back.

The first unit I received had a huge dent at the bottom so I exchanged it via coffeemakers.us.com which took nearly a month. The replacement I received was better but still had a few chips on it, one that was particularly noticeable on the spout. Now I don’t expect that this will impact the function of the French press other than possible rusting in the future, but for the steep price, I expected better quality control. I contacted the seller directly but didn’t get a response. Otherwise, it seems sturdy and hopefully it’ll last a long time. *Update: a rep from the seller responded to my request and handled the situation very well.
