Great unit. My only quibble is that the plastic faux aluminum silver cover in front of the reservoir makes you crane your head around to the left side to see your water level. A real pain if your unit is towards the left of your counter. You can unscrew a small Phillips screw from the cover and work the cover off to see the level easier.
Super easy to clean and super easy to use! (most products have a video which helps) It is not super sturdy but I DO like it. Will I still go to Dutch Brother's ? Probably!! ...... Ha! :-) ......But this little unit makes it so convenient (you can make your iced coffee however you'd like! It comes with a recipe bookle) AND.......It WILL save you $$$$$$'s Before I go and buy the "goodies" I just started with my regular scoop of coffee and added some flavored creamer. And I did not even have to wait in line to get it! :-) Thank You`
This product was advertised as new and yet the scratches and gouge on the exterior of item indicate prior use. I need the product as I’m without a coffee pot, or I’d return.
We went from a Cuisinart Auto-Drip to a French Press to this and we are in love. The brew is delicious. It also makes the brew in lightning speed. We recommend it to everyone!
I’ts perfect,it can not only make coffee, but I also use it for making tea.and easy to clean.
I was using a Toddy for years for cold brew and it worked but it was no longer sufficient afterwards visiting Japan. I saw drip towers and the coffee that came out of them was not acidic at all, it was also smooth and rich. I finally decided to try out Yama's 25 cup tower in order to attempt what I experienced with coffee in Japan. It worked! It was very simple to assemble to tower and also to brew quickly. After brewing cold brew weekly, I have concluded the following makes the best coffee for my taste. 1. Filtered ice (ice trays, not a machine) to not affect the taste. 2. Filtered water I usually use ~50/50 ratio for water and ice. It depends on the temperature in the room 3. I prefer organic coffee and I grind medium. In my opinion, I think the coffee comes out better this way. Fine grounds may be a mistake and it could clog the ceramic and paper filters but I have not tried it. 4. I have tried 1/2lb - 1lb coffee for batches. 1/2lb comes out very concentrated, 1lb is even stronger. I prefer 1/2lb, it is sufficient for my brewing. Tips: Make sure you place the ceramic and paper filter in the bottom and top the grounds as well! Fill the beaker with your grounds. Slowly add ~1.5-2 cups water to moist the grounds. I use my finger to plug the bottom of the beaker and that allows me to slowly turn the beaker to properly moist the grounds. 5. I set the valve for 1 drop per second and I check it every 2-3hrs. The 25 cup tower makes ~100oz and it has taken between 9-12hrs and it varies for each batch. Due to it dripping slower in some batches. Taste your coffee and dilute it with water or milk for your taste.
Excellent fresh press that consistently and quickly makes a smooth cup of coffee. It retains heat well, cleans easily, pours effortlessly, and keeps the grounds from escaping the filter. Has a sleek well-crafted look and seems like it will hold up over time. Only negative is that it will leave water stains after cleaning if not meticulously wiped down. Not that big of an issue. Good buy for the value.
I’m loving my new coffee pot.. originally a few days after I first started using it, my coffee pot copped an attitude, the brew option “bold brew” button stopped working and the clock panel was glitching out, I waited a few days to see if it would correct itself before I hit the return button. Note: Luckily the seller /coffeemakers.us.com was kind enough to send me a replacement quickly.. Before the replacement arrived, I continued to use the one I had and was primarily using the multi pot option till one day I needed a quick single serve (first time using that function). And to my surprise after using that option my pot decided to correct its attitude and starting working properly again.. I used it for an addition two weeks and never had to switch out machines with the replacement .. coffee is hot and flavorful, and the single serve option is nice to have for that quick caffeine fix. Some comments I read stated that the pot brewed slow.. which maybe that’s true, it is a little on the slower side but that doesn’t bother me.. it’s not like I’m sitting watching it brew, I go about my business and come back a few minutes later to a pot of hot liquid gold.. highly recommend
This is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. It is very well made unlike the others like mr coffee. It is 14" tall so it fits well under the upper cabinets. Another user had a video claiming it was 19" and unable to fit but that is not the case at all.
Good taste and keeps warm for a bit but trying to clean off the plate is undoable.
My wife gave me this cold brewer for Christmas. She felt that the one I was currently using had become too cumbersome because I usually had to filter the coffee after it was brewed. She told me that this one should make my CoffeeLife™ simpler. She wasn’t wrong. This little unit solved the problem AND produced a more highly concentrated brew. In the end, the same amount of grounds yielded the same amount of ready-to-drink coffee but with FAR LESS effort. Additionally, with this unit, I’ve taken to letting it brew, on the counter, rather than in the fridge. The instructions indicate 12-24 hours at room temp or 20-24 hours in the fridge. I cannot argue with the result. Where things fall apart is in the cleanup. I could throw every component of my old cold brewer into the dishwasher. This manufacturer indicates that this unit is not dishwasher safe. That’s a big drawback in today’s busy world. All in all, if not for the necessary hand-washing, I’d give this 5 stars. The brew is consistent from batch to batch with no need to filter. I see very little sediment in the carafe when I pour it out and I experience ZERO grit when drinking my brew. My wife insisted on getting me a second carafe but I don’t store the brew that way and the brewer is ready for another batch, as soon as I finish the first. Super convenient. Easy to use. 5 stars if not for the need to hand-wash. coffeemakers.us.com won’t let me give 4.5 stars or I probably would.
perfect for slipping under a K-Cup machine. Just one little cup of real coffee at a time. Wash in the dishwasher. Put in a paper cone filter. Slip it over the cup in the machine. Because it's silicone you can move it easily. Peek in and make sure that your paper filter is fully open. make coffee. First few cups were fine. Hope it keeps working. I'd prefer my regular ground coffee to the taste of the little cups. It needs #3 paper cones.
I made my first batch of cold brew coffee today and it taste amazing. I never had cold brew before so nothing to compare it to. I followed the included directions with a coarse grind medium roast coffee bean. The directions called for 8/1 ratio so I geeked it and weighed my water in grams and did the math for the grinds 🤣. Ends up I couldn't quite get all the grinds in the filter so I went with 90%. The water pour was medium slow but the included tool helped with that. I let it steep at room temperature about 74f for 11 hours. It tastes full body and no bitter. I will definitely make this regularly and could see it being used for iced coffee.
Our home thrives on fresh, piping hot coffee every morning. This new Bunn automatic drip coffee maker has a slim footprint and sturdy design that fits well in small spaces. Fill with two pots of cold water to fill the drum which continually stays heated for each new pot of coffee you make. Simple set up. Brews quickly and you’ll always get a delicious, steaming pot of coffee. I order the replacement coffee filters on coffeemakers.us.com for a great price. Included in the box is a de-scaling tool to help keep your machine clean.
I like the descale mode on this, my 2.0 didn’t come with descale mode you just cleaned it with descale solution but it didn’t know it was being descaled!
