  • In 2005, I brought home my very first Keurig, the B100, and let me tell you—it was a game-changer. Back then, in a world dominated by clunky coffee pots and mediocre instant granules, Keurig promised "Your coffee, your way, in under a minute." And wow, did it deliver. That little machine revolutionized mornings for me and countless others. But all good things eventually come to an end. It’s time to say goodbye to my faithful B100. She holds a special place in coffee history—and in my heart—but the Keurig K-Elite is here to take her place. And honestly, I think I’m falling in love all over again. Modern Elegance Meets Unparalleled Versatility The K-Elite is a sleek, polished beauty that blends seamlessly into my dream coffee bar. Its brushed metal finish screams sophistication, while the intuitive interface makes it easy to use. This machine isn’t just an upgrade; it’s a coffee powerhouse. Unlike my original B100, which brewed a solid cup of coffee, the K-Elite is all about options. Want bold coffee? You got it. Prefer iced coffee? Done. Craving a steaming hot brew? Adjust the temperature. It’s like having a personal barista who actually listens. Why I’m Smitten Speed & Efficiency: Just like the original Keurig, the K-Elite gets the job done fast. In under a minute, my cup is ready—perfect for chaotic mornings. Customizable Brews: The strength control and temperature settings make it easy to craft your perfect cup. Iced Coffee Button: Yes, you read that right. It brews over ice without diluting the flavor, and now I can pretend I’m fancy even on hot days. Quiet Brew Technology: No more startling the household with that loud “ka-chunk” sound! This machine hums smoothly. A Nostalgic Nod to My First Keurig Let me be clear: my first Keurig will always be the machine that started it all. It was the pioneer of pod coffee, delivering single-serve simplicity in a time when such a thing felt like magic. It gave me years of reliable service and helped transform the way I enjoy coffee. But, like any proud parent, I know it’s time to let her rest. The K-Elite carries on that legacy with style and substance, and I can’t help but think my trusty B100 would approve. Final Thoughts The Keurig K-Elite is more than just a coffee maker—it’s the next chapter in my coffee story. While I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for my original Keurig, the K-Elite has already proven itself as a worthy successor. It’s a modern marvel, a joy to use, and a central piece of my dream coffee bar. Here’s to new memories, new mornings, and coffee that feels just right. Cheers to the K-Elite—and to the B100 for starting it all. ☕✨

Have you ever watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail? If so, consider the Swamp Castle--only the last one didn't stay up. If I had written this review within the first 4 months, I would have raved. 5 stars; legit. So convenient! Makes good coffee! Quick and easy espresso! Brew as much as you want, from a cup to a full pot! Everything I wanted in a sleek, compact package! On the fifth month, the item that pierces the back of the Nespresso pods died. But the coffee maker still worked, and I could still make espresso if I pierced the pods before inserting them. Annoying, but fine. I can deal. On the eighth month, the coffee maker's drip stopper stopped working. I'm a former barista, and I can swap vessels below a coffee maker like a pro, so okay. Not thrilled, but I'll survive. Then, one week after the warranty expired, the disk that pierces the foil front of the Nespresso pods fell off, and there was no reattaching it, so I called customer service and Ninja was kind enough to send a replacement base unit--as long as I covered the shipping and handling (since it was just out of warranty). So I received and swapped out all the bits into the new (refurbished) base unit. ...which lasted about 2 weeks before getting an 'Add Water' error whenever I attempted to brew, even though the reservoir was plenty full. I called customer service back and reported the issue. They initially said they'd be happy to replace the base unit again--as long as I covered shipping and handling. They then promised to ship it free after I pointed out that I had just paid S&H for the unit they'd sent not 2 weeks ago. Surprisingly, I received a new-in-box unit a few days later. I naively assumed my issues were over, and happily went about setting up and enjoying my coffee. It's been barely 80 days since I received the NEW unit. The pod piercer has broken yet again, and both the coffee and the espresso maker are giving the 'Add Water' error. I've lost all faith in Ninja's reliability. If it worked as intended, I'd be thrilled and delighted in the product. However, I now have three defective units in my house, and I'm not willing to continue contributing to the landfill with any further broken units. I'm out.

Why 3 stars? I opened my box and the products was exactly like the pictures you see... all dirty, water actually in the water chamber of the machine and the base obviously used and cushioned feet uneven. I did buy a used one in November 2022 a new model and it lasted until October 2023, handle broke off. I decided to buy a more sturdy handled one new, but got this. I did not send it back. I was able to clean everything and my expressos are great. I love the size and it travels well when I visit others. I need my expresso!!! LOL

Makes strong coffee ! I love my afternoon ice coffee and usually make it in the pot the day before this is very similar but you just put the grounds and water in and let it sit for 18 hours. I like that this is glass and doesn't take up much room in the fridge and it's easy to wash out. I have been using this for almost a week and have been doing some adjusting with the amount of coffee grounds so it tastes good to me and not as strong. I wash the carafe and top in the dishwasher but the basket and lid by hand that way it will last. This is a nice little set up for ice coffee.

This coffee machine is an absolute showstopper. Its breathtaking design makes it a statement piece in any kitchen, blending elegance with modern aesthetics. But it’s not just about looks—this machine delivers incredible coffee with zero hassle. The precision temperature control ensures every brew is just right, while the dual shower head evenly saturates the grounds for a perfectly balanced flavor. The timed bloom cycle brings out rich, complex notes, making every sip smooth and satisfying. I love how easy it is to customize brew settings or download expert recipes for café-quality results at home. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or a beginner, this machine makes brewing effortless. If you appreciate both beauty and performance in a coffee machine, this is a must-have.

  • I don’t need some fancy coffee maker. But why can’t they make a good standard drip coffee maker. It makes fine coffee. But the display is not backlit, it’s dark gray text on a gray background, and super small. If you’re over 40 you’ll need to have a magnifying glass next to it. The buttons are laid out in a way for you to make mistakes. Rather then auto being next to on, auto clean is next to on. I’ve hit auto clean a few times when I meant to hit auto. Also it’s easy to hit auto clean instead of on. There is not light indicator for auto mode. Just a small text in the bottom. Coffee is fine but it’s a pain to use.

I’ve bought many coffee makers over the years. Cuisinart, ICoffee and many others. This is the top of the line. No bells and whistles, no programming, nothing but amazing coffee. So smooth and delicious. When you finish your cup there is no silt at the bottom of the cup..none. It brews amazingly fast. I set everything up the night before,in the morning turn it on and it’s done brewing by the time I’ve brushed my teeth and fed the animals. I highly recommend and I am very fussy about my coffee.

  • Está cafetera está muy bonita pero me salió defectuosa, tira agua cada que quito la jarra y al limpiar la base donde calienta sé dañó la capa protectora

This is a very cute gold ole coffee maker. It is well made and looks amazing on the kitchen counter. The o ly downside is the size, it is a little small and can hardly make than two coffee cups. Otherwise it is great

  • Beautiful and simple. I wish there was no plastic in the strainer with lid. Nice addition to a simple coffee routine.

  • Love the way it makes a strong brew. Simple to clean. However, the quick failure of the water tube in the bottom means that the coffee maker is only worth half the price they're asking. This failure requires replacing the coffeemaker for the household. I will not be buying it again.

  • Although they don’t work perfectly, the more readily available type of coffee filter for pour overs do work. As you can see in the photo, as soon as you wet the grounds in order for the coffee to bloom, they hug the holder enough to carry on pouring. That being said, if you’re really persnickety, you might want to invest in some of the pointed end filters. Now let’s talk about the unit itself. If you’d like the look of handmade pottery, you’re going to love this option. I couldn’t find a single flaw on it. The colors are just lovely, and it washes up nicely. It fits on both oversized mugs and regular sized mugs. Perfect size for one cup of coffee. It has a good balanced weight that gives it even more of a quality feel. It doesn’t feel like a piece of pottery that’s going to break easily. For all of the above reasons, I think this is a good value.
