After brewing a shot water leaks from the base unit
Love my Ninja coffee maker! It is easy to clean and coffee tastes great.
REAL coffee on a 5 day hunt. Nuff said! (And it works perfectly!)
Now I have my own Starbucks at home 😁 coffee ready in a minute. This Breville espresso machine fits my kitchen perfectly. It is well made, makes great coffee, latte, cappuccino, americano or whatever your heart desires. You can program it to brew your favorite beverage to the amount of coffee shots, milk froth etc. depending on how strong or creamy you prefer it to be with freshly grinded coffee beans. YUM!!! I'm enjoying it ☕️
This arrived exactly as pictured, and honestly even better than the photos. I can't believe I didn't pay more for this. It's made very well, and the glass you can tell is thick and durable. The stainless steel stand is beautiful and is perfectly paired with the glass. Moving on to my coffee and my husband's tea. I've had great cups of coffee and when you have the tools needed to make great things you're able to produce them with no problems. Adding this to my kitchen appliances has made such a difference. I've had no issues since my first use. I was a little worried about it being in pieces when it arrived but the packaging is very nice and definitely protected it well. The handheld battery powered frother is nice for when I want to add a little foam. Overall, this is a great French press, it's easy to use, easy to clean, looks amazing on my counter, and makes awesome beverages, both hot and cold. I recommend this to anyone looking for personal use or for gift giving needs.
If you use a mug (not a cup) for coffee, the 5-cup mark for water on the pot delivers about 3 mugs, perfect for me. I used the same bottled water I've used with other coffee and tea makers, and the same brand of ground coffee, so the improved taste is due to the difference in coffee maker, not ingredients. The coffee doesn't start to drip into the pot until after a couple of minutes, so it is actually brewing--adding the HOT water to the coffee, not letting it start to drip into the pot the minute you turn it on. I esp like the way there is NO DRIPPING down onto the heating element when you take the pot out to pour either. (For some reason, even a few drips of coffee on a hot base plate just never seem to wipe completely off, and that builds up as it bakes in with repeated use). After it's brewed, the pot of coffee stayed hot over the couple of hours I used it, but didn't overheat into a witches' brew of concentrated liquid. The reusable basket washes easily, so no need to buy paper filters. Use the same amount of coffee and water you normally do, according to how strong you like it.**UPDATE. I decided to try using a paper coffee filter outside of the basket, since the ground coffee I was using still left a small amount of residue on the bottom of the coffee cup, especially with the last of the pot. This worked perfectly, and any residue left in the pot went into the paper filter. There was absolutely none at the bottom the cup. This is a very good basic coffee maker at a reasonable price. I like it. (If anything changes over time, as always, I'll update this review.)
Brews coffee with a perfect temperature, has a wonderful smooth flavor and you can use less coffee grounds. Fast brewing also. A couple of negatives are that the thermal pot doesn’t keep the coffee hot long, and that the lid and filter cup cannot be used at the same time. The filter cup sits on top of the thermal pot until you finish brewing. Then you remove it, in order to put the lid on the pot. You end up storing one of the items in another location. This is inconvenient.
Package came broken. Can't use. Waste of money.
I got this for coffee on the go, and it can certainly do an adequate job of that. Depending on how you intend to use this device will greatly dictate how you feel about it though. There are two main concerns most folks will want addressed though: how does it heat water, and how does it deliver coffee. Water is heated kettle style; this was not what I was expecting as most pod-type coffee makers heat water inline. If you put in cold water and press the button briefly it will start a phase which heats the kettle portion up and then delivers coffee. If you put in hot water and press and hold the button it will immediately deliver coffee. Here's the important thing: it does not pause at all, it goes straight from a lengthy heating process (maybe 5ish minutes) to pouring coffee. This might be fine while camping but isn't great in most scenarios. Delivering coffee - It does this in two stages: a brief blooming and then it delivers a stream. It takes a bit longer than I feel is necessary and so delivers an over-extracted and acidic cup with very thin crema. It works with the original line type coffee pods perfectly fine but also has single and double shot portafilters for bringing your own coffee grounds. Overall impressions are good: the packaging is great, instructions are easy to read, the unit feels of good quality with gaskets everywhere to prevent leaking and is easy to clean. Lots of accessories are included. So many good things can be said, however the need to hold the unit in your hand over a cup while it heats up water is not great. So I would recommend using hot water to start the unit with and don't even think of using it in the car. It will not deliver a lot of coffee and what it does deliver will be over-extracted if you use a normal espresso grind so think about a slightly larger grind setting. Unfortunately I can only give a 3/5 since there's no reasonable way to work around the kettle heating issue. It will take a long time to heat the water and it will come out immediately just when you get tired of holding the unit. If the end cap were a little longer and could act as a cup then you could "set it and forget it" but the user experience needs a bit of work.
This is awesome. It makes iced coffee just as good as if not better than anywhere you can buy it. Nice size for the fridge and easy to use and clean. Worth it!
It Works perfectly It's not broken or defective I recommend It's it's small You can take it everywhere and it comes with it own accessories
It lasted nine days in total, the carafe is paper thin and extremely fragile. But I would say this: if it came with a thicker carafe, I would have loved this machine for its simplicity and making a decent cup of coffee.
I have this coffee maker and it just died. After 5 years. I hold no ill will. I’m ordering the exact same one again. Long live Mr. Coffee!
I love that it matches my microwave I bought 11 years ago. Great quality. Easy to use set Delay. Coffee smells and tastes absolutely delicious. Love the reusable filter
This pour over is amazing and super chic. It makes fantastic coffee and it’s pretty easy gauge coffee strength preference (intuitive measurements after first use). I love that I can carry the set over to my desk and sip to enjoy rather than having to pour a full cup and drinking stat while it’s still perfect to our tastebuds liking. So happy with my purchase, highly recommend for the chic and single households ; )
