Claims to be insulated, but it does not keep my coffee warm. If you buy this, you will be reheating your coffee in the microwave. Also the finish is peeling.
THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT! I WAS SHIPPED A USED PRODUCT WITHOUT A BOX, THE PRODUCT WAS THROWN INSIDE THE BOX!!!! THIS IS VERY RIDICULOUS AT THIS POINT.
Did not receive coffee maker shown in description which was the same as my old one. The new one BVMC EHX33 is much more cheaply made. The COFFEE POT BROKE ON THE 3rd HANDWASH. Glass pot and all plastic parts are cheaply thin.
This thing is a piece of garbage.im on my second one and it breaks after a month.do not buy this buy a keirug.the plastic piece on the arm that lines it up when closing breaks after a month.
I would not waste your money. This was much smaller than pictured. The machine did not even last a year. The button was stuck from normal use and then smoke came out of the button. The customer service at black and decker was very rude and disrespectful. She kept cutting me off and saying this was all my fault for unscrewing the bottom plate to see why the button was stuck, who wouldn’t. She then told me they would replace it and told me I had to take x amount of photos and cut the cord and ship it myself with a 7.50 check for shipping and handling of the new unit which would not have a warranty of that one. Not worth the purchase hassle or a burnt down house.
This cold brew coffee make will come in handy, however there are PROS and CONS. First the PROS: It's inexpensive (under $20), it looks good, it’s built well for the price, it’s quick to fill, and best of all it does not need electricity to brew coffee. Now the CONS: It does not filter the coffee well which allows quite a bit of coffee grounds to make it into the pot which ends up in your coffee cup. Poorly filtered coffee grounds has been scientifically proven to cause health risks because this builds up on your internal organs and never get digested. The cleanup is a pain. You can't just grab a filter and drop it in the trash like you do with a conventional coffee maker. You have to run it underwater, therefore causing the grounds to go down your drain. Just like grounds buildup on your internal organs, they build up in your sewer pipes. I recently took a part my kitchen sink trap and cleaned the pipes with a bottle cleaning brush because there was buildup from the previous residence. Imagine that build up within your internal organs. Lastly, it wastes coffee because using cold water does not get all of the coffee out of the grounds, therefore you must use more coffee grounds to make the same amount of coffee. If you were to fill it with hot water to brew the coffee, you would get better results. But it is not designed to stand up to hot water, which could likely melt the thin plastic filter. And if I were to run hot water through it, I might as well use my electric coffee maker which does a far better job at brewing coffee and uses a very fine mesh biodegradable filter which filters the coffee grounds better, therefore making it healthier. Conclusion: My 30-year-old Mr. Coffee, coffee maker makes a more consistent cup of coffee with easier cleanup and does not waste coffee. And all I have to do is simply chill the coffee afterwards. My electric coffee maker is also healthier. So, although I like this little cold brew coffee maker, and I will use it if I go camping or lose power, it's going to sit on the shelf for now. I hope this product review was helpful?
We had a Keurig coffee maker that had served us well for many years, but it was time to replace it. I was first attracted to another brand coffee maker that had beautiful stainless steel model with sleek, modern lines, plus the cost was much less than the Keurig, so I ordered it. What a big mistake! Although it was beautiful to look at, it was an inferior product in numerous ways; the biggest one being that it dispensed coffee grounds in the cup when making a carafe of coffee or the K-cup. I returned it and tried another brand. Things went from bad to worse; it leaked from day one, made terrible coffee and was noisy. I returned the second coffee maker and finally ordered the Keurig that I should have purchased in the beginning. The 3rd time was the charm! We love our new Keurig K-Duo Plus Coffee Maker. It makes superb coffee, carafe or K-cup, is very quiet, brews faster, and the coffee is very hot. Our kitchen space is limited, so I am happy that this model Keurig takes up less space, too. It doesn't get any better than this. . . make a carafe of coffee or a cup of coffee. The stainless steel carafe is a big plus, too, over a glass carafe; it keeps a pot of coffee hot for an extended period of time. Awesome! On the flip side, this coffee maker is more costly than the first two I tried, but you've heard the old saying: "You get what you pay for" . . . it rings true with this superb coffee maker. Do yourself a favor, and save yourself all the aggravation we put up with by trying to save a few dollars; buy this Keurig. You'll be glad you did! 8 WROTE THIS REVIEW MONTHS AGO BUT JUST NOTICED THAT IT DID NOT GET POSTED BECAUSE 8 DID NOT COMPLETE THE LAST STEP. NOW I WILL UPDATE REVIEW: Had a problem with coffeemaker this morning Contacted seller and received immediate response. (I highly recommend this 3rd party seller.) I contacted Keurig directly as it was still under warranty and they are replacing the coffeemaker. They stand by their product!
I like a good strong coffee flavor and I leave it running for 30 min, strain, add some ice and my zero sugar syrup….best coffee at home I’ve ever made!
Purchased by mistake. But i didn't regret it. We love it!
Iced coffee, iced tea, lemonade, or just some fruit infused water. This mason jar pitcher does it all. This I am glad for. Now I can have my favorite cold beverages while camping off the grid. Nice thick large heavy made jar, well made no leakage while pouring spout with lid, easy to hold and grip handle for pouring, thick double layered mesh filter, and a cleaning brush. So easy to use. Fill it with water, add contents to the filter, and let it do its thing. I usually prepare my coffee the evening before and come the next day it’s ready for me to drink. I love this thing.
Why an old box with a damaged item not good Nothing good about this item so disappointed
I can't believe I have been paying $6 for my ice coffees for all these years. At a friends suggestion, I tried the Nitro Cold Brew COffee Maker and now I am hooked. It takes a few minutes to get all the parts together - but it is worth it. Remember to order the nitro cartridges separately - not expensive. It takes a batch or two to get the intensity right - but once you have the magic recipe matched to your taste - you will love how fresh it is. The other nice thing is that this is not too big of an appliance. Very compact and stores easily. Stop driving to your coffee house when you can pay for this in about a month.
Very pleased with this purchase. Amazing product if you love Vietnamese resultant style coffee. This is a must buy if you miss going to pho restaurants for this type of coffee.
Our last Chemex broke. So we got a new one. A bigger one, because who doesn’t always want to make more coffee? Well, somewhere in the intervening years, Chemex redesigned their spouts to make them more square. And that subtle difference means that every single time I brew coffee, the filter gets trapped inside the spout and forms a seal (see photo.) No bueno, Chemex.
I sprung for this product because my husband hates grounds in his coffee and we didn’t want to switch to drip coffee. We were happy with it for less than a year :/ The micro filter doesn’t work anymore and we have to dump out the last bit of our coffee or double filter it once it’s been brewed. Disappointed. I gave it two stars for durability and it’s the perfect size for two.
