"Exclusive packaging" is bubble wrap apparently. I reached out to Chemex and they indicated that it should come in a box so I'm not sure if coffeemakers.us.com is fulfilling orders with knockoff Chemex brewers. Since the order is fulfilled by coffeemakers.us.com, Chemex could not help me directly. I returned the first and the replacement is only bubble wrapped as well. Not sure if I'll keep it.
This Moccamaster coffee grinder works wonderfully! The grind options range from course to extra fine, espresso. You have to hold the button down until you grind the desired amount which is the only thing I don't like about this machine; I'd rather turn the switch and then shut it off or have it shut off automatically when the carafe is full. The motor seems really powerful and will most likely last a very long time. The cost is a bit much but I've owned several less expensive coffee grinders that didn't last a year so my hope is that this machine will be the last one I have to get for a very long time. The coffee smelled amazing while grinding; I received a free 12 oz. bag of Sight Glass, organic coffee, the coupon for which was included with the machine so that was a nice blessing. This is a Great Product that's well made!

I've been using this stainless steel Secura French Press Coffee Maker for a month now and I'm very satisfied with the overall performance of this product. In fact, the screen on this press filters out more coffee sediment than any other press I've owned which is a VERY favorable feature to me. I recently switched to a stainless steel French press from glass simply due to my falling back to sleep sometimes after making coffee, and then, waking up to an undesirably warm brew. This press is insulated and does keep the coffee hot until pressed for at least 3 hours by my measure. I haven't specifically tested it, but have woken up to hot coffee(I also prime the press with boiling water before brewing) after falling back to sleep for a few hours. I, of course, did my due diligence and settled on this particular French press on account the many good reviews, as well as, because it met my criteria. The concerns I had when I purchased this press were to do with a few things I had read about this and a few other stainless steel presses. First, I was concerned about being able to twist off the screen hardware without having to use pliers and risk marring up the plunger shaft. I did experience the plunger knob twisting off instead of the screen hardware, but simply made sure the plunger knob was twisted on tighter than the screen hardware. So far, this has worked out just fine. Similarly, I make a point not to needlessly over-tighten the screen hardware. The second concern had to do with the plunger knob apparently breaking on some units. Again, I avoid needlessly over-tightening the screen hardware or the plunger knob...I mean, it's a coffee maker! How tight does the hardware REALLY need to be to make good coffee? Thirdly, I read that water had gotten trapped in the lid and would not come out. On purpose, I only hand wash this press, but even so, I've had occasions when rinsing the lid where water has gotten down into the lid (no big deal). Again, this is a coffee press. There is no need for engineered precision or tolerances. On that note, the hole in the lid where the plunger shaft slides through has enough room to allow for trapped water to easily drain out (see picture). I suppose it's possible other units may have had less room between the plunger shaft and lid preventing water from draining, but mine drains fine. Lastly, I had concerns about internal body rust and faulty welds where the handle attaches to the body. I've only had my press for a month, but I do my humanly best to take care of it. It gets used EVERY day and sometimes twice per day. Sometimes it gets rinsed out right away, and sometimes the grounds sit in it over night until I rinse it out the next day to make more coffee. So far, this press is a champ, and is my absolute favorite press of all the ones I've ever owned.
This coffee maker is Amazing!!! So first off I've bought 2 other keurigs before. This one definitely takes the cake. It's so fancy you can even change the background color. You can also select the temperature of your coffee which is awesome because I don't have a lot of time in the morning I don't have to wait for my coffee to cool down I can have it cool already. You can also choose if you want it strong or not. The water reservoir is also pretty big so that's nice you don't have to refill it everyday. I honestly can't tell the difference of the taste with the water filter but I'm sure it's helping. It does take a little bit longer to preheat than the older model we had but that's not a big deal since you can set the time it turns on. I really like that you can choose the size of your cup and also you can program different settings for up to 6 people. I've had this coffee maker for about a month now and I've had no issues with it at all. Will let you know if we encounter any problems in the future. This is a great buy definitely recommend.
Purchased this Mixpresso Pour Over Coffee Maker Set Glass Carafe in November 2022. Since then, the glass chipped on the top of the pot and cracked it. Had to throw it away. Now the filer is tearing on the inside. Very cheaply made. Thought this would last longer than 2 months of use. Not recommend for purchase.
I absolutely love the color of this coffee maker, it matched well with my kitchen theme. It does not have an automatic shut off option, but its not really a big deal because its fast. I have to say it was also not easy to clean. Overall I love it and was happy it was delivered on time.
After a couple of months of using this, I can confirm that this is one of my favorite purchases. I actually use it for making tea, but you can use it to make coffee too. I think they sell separate ones for tea vs coffee because the tastes might start to mingle and taste weird. This coffee maker was slightly cheaper than the tea one, so I bought this one instead. I agree with others that it would be great if this was a little bigger, however as the picture shows, I just put it in the fridge at night, then in the morning when it is ready, I pour it into the larger container to the right. That way I can still drink some while I am making a new batch. I don’t like to drink plain water, and I get sick of the water flavorings out there pretty quick, so drinking tea is a staple for me. It was quickly adding up to buy quarts of tea several times per week. Since I bought this, I use it nearly every day. I have not had it break, crack, or anything like that. I’d imagine if I had a porcelain sink that might be different though. It’s super easy to make and clean. For tea, I just take the large Lipton iced tea bags and dump the grounded tea into the strainer. To clean, just dump out into the trash (or compost), and then use the high setting on your faucet’ spray head to remove what’s leftover. This has already paid for itself in the first month of use. I highly recommend for anyone that regularly drinks coffee or tea!
This Galanz 2-in-1 Grind and Brew Coffee Maker is awesome - the design of having the grinder built in is brilliant. It works great - grinds, brews, programs, keeps warm, reusable filter, even has a special aroma function. But the carafe leaks - it is my pet peeve with coffee makers - puts a damper on the whole experience when I have to then clean up the counter.
I replaced my 10 yr old Keurig because it started making a noise and I thought it was going out. This new one makes a louder noise so if that will bother you, beware. There’s no filter. It brews faster than my old one. It’s easy to use. Gets the job done. Coffee tastes great. I also noticed my countertop vibrates while using. Seems durable enough. Hasn’t shut off yet so unsure about the “auto shut off”.
It was already used when it arrived. (We bought it as new) When we opened it, the lid was scratched and you can tell that it was already used. There was water and coffee residue and I thought that was disgusting. This is a bad experience for this brand. I didn't expect this but maybe this wasn't a manufacturer issue.
I used this on an induction cooktop. Unit was well care for and one day the handle came off. I Contacted Bieletti for support and they said they Could do nothing about it.
We bought this coffeemakers.us.com Guaranteed refurbished Ninja coffeemaker to replace our old one since the glass carafe had broken and the digital display went out after a year. PROS: 1. The pieces come apart so they can be thoroughly washed (unlike other brands that will still have dirt and eventually *yikes* mold despite routine descaling according to manufacturer's instructions. 2. Makes great coffee! 3. Easy to use. 4. Has a timer for scheduled coffee time CONS: 1. This refurbished unit was missing the gold coffee filter and plastic scoop! I subtracted a star for each missing piece. Luckily, we still had the ones from our previous unit so we just transferred them to this one. Check your units carefully for completeness!
Unfortunately, as much as I loved this cold brew maker, add me to the list of people who had issues with it leaking. I got it for Christmas and have only used it about 5 times. Very disappointed.
Now that I work from home, "The Scoop" is a quick and easy solution for my morning coffee needs. Over the years, I used the pour-over, French press, and drip methods, usually with Chemex in the mix, always searching for an inexpensive cup of coffee without sacrificing the taste. The Scoop does not take up a lot of counter space and I set it up at night for the next morning when I hit the Bold button; no folding paper filters; no pre-filled Kcup; I adjust the intensity of the final product with a little practice. I use spring water in the tank and eliminate most of the tiresome cleanup. My only suggestion is that the HB booklet should provide clearer steps for avoiding the occasional leak. Initially, I poured too much water into the tank. I learned "less is more". This unit is worth the price as it quickly pays for itself.
