"Add water" notice won't go away, even though the tank is full, I've blown through the pipes to clear, moved around to make sure tank is set correctly, and I've tried descaling it using vinegar. Too expensive to be breaking so fast. Unfortunate since it actually makea decent coffee. Can't even return this....

  • This brews a Nice shot of espresso. The flavor is just as good as if I made it in my regular machine. It is packaged in a very nice case in a very nice box. It’s a nice presentation for a gift. It has some weight to it and does not feel cheap. This is rechargeable and heats up the water and brews the espresso. You can use ground or pods. It took about 7 min. to brew with cold water. This is great for camping and I think it would be good for an afternoon pick me up at your desk. I travel in my car a lot and I can stop and make a shot. It also comes with a little jar you can put your ground espresso in.

  • It’s the perfect size, makes delicious coffee and I love the design. I especially like the way the filter swings out and I can pick the whole thing out and compost the filter. I hate reaching in and getting coffee grounds everywhere. Love the easy switch in the front and also the way you add water to the front. So much easier than a back fill. Just love it and thrilled I purchased it.

This is a very small coffee pot so be aware, it might say 4 cups but I use a normal sized cup and I would get about one and a half cups out of it. I'm not sure why they think this is 4 cups. For a size reference, I have included two pictures. One is in comparison to my hand and the other is next to one of those small 10oz bags of coffee.

Great taste, handsome design. And I probably won't return it. However... After making the coffee, you replace the drip cone with the screw-on carafe top. For the life of me, I can't get this top on in a way that it doesn't leak when I incline the pot to fill a cup. It probably has to do w/ the fact that, when the lid is on tight, the thumb tab on the lid that you press to pour doesn't line up with the handle. For whatever reason, the coffee seeps out from the connection between the lid and the pot. There's a white plastic seal at the base of the threads; I have it in there without a kink. So I think it's a design flaw. Bizarrely, I had one of these pots previously and it didn't have these issues. So, every morning, I pour the coffee while holding the pot it over the sink!

This is a solid coffee maker, yet not the best model. Mr. Coffee makers have always been dependable and long lasting while making a tasty, simple pot of coffee. There are several pros and cons to this coffee maker, let's start with the cons. Cons: The cord is WAY too short!! I don't think I have EVER had such a short cord on any small kitchen appliance! This definitely makes placement an issue. The basket receives no favors by being a swing out vs just lifting the entire top of the maker, not just the water reservoir. I believe I understand what they were trying to do, yet removing and replacing the basket comes with a learning curve. Another downside to the swing out style is you have to be VERY careful once you have placed your filter and chosen ground into the maker. If you aren't careful, the filter will not be even and then you wake to find grounds floating in your coffee pot. The delay and on/off button sharing one button can be a bit confusing. As can the red to turn on/brew now, while the delay is green(which we all know means go). My husband, who I bought this for to replace our old Hamilton Beach(I am a Keurig fanatic), didn't care for the shared buttons and hitting it so many times to turn off the maker. Pros: It is an attractive coffee maker, it's odd shape is pretty pleasing and it doesn't look large and imposing on the counter. It looks a bit classic and is very appealing. The coffee pot itself is also shaped nicely. Once you have the buttons down, delay brew is awesome and reliable. Our older pot was a slower brewer and my husband quite likes the faster brew(if he wakes early) and the coffee loses no taste or quality. The entire coffee maker and pot are very easy to clean, and this is actually where the swing out basket is a pro. By being able to remove the entire basket, you don't have to take extra steps to clean the basket housing and the maker stays cleaner. The water reservoir is easy to fill from any angle with the numbers on the right side being very bright and easy to read. Overall, this is a nice, affordable and dependable coffee maker once you learn it's little quirks. I would definitely recommend but would be sure to share the lessons we've learned.

As a premium coffee making experience this French Press has just replaced my tried and true (cheaper) press. I've become used to a certain amount of coffee grounds when doing hot or cold pressed coffee with my original French Press. This unit has tight specifications, no grinds got through. The double walled construction held the temperature for more than an hour and it produced a very smooth cup of coffee. The color, shape, and design are classics and make this a device I will gladly pull out to make company a cup of coffee, or used when I know I want to really relax and just enjoy the coffee. Easy clean up. All in all it has stepped up my French Press Coffee making experience.

The thing I hate most about automatic coffee makers is the fact that they typically offer little in the way of adjustments and tweaks you can make during preparation. Sure, some allow users to set longer or shorter brewing times and program when coffee should brew. Other's also allow users to set different brewing temperatures. I've never used anything electric that offers the amount of fine control that a pour over brewer offers. This is a very easy and fun to use pour over brewer. The glass is thick and resistant to high heat. It assembles very easily and offers the ability to brew hot or cold coffee. We control how strong, flavorful or warm the brew is. Using this in combination with quality freshly ground at home coffee, we've made some fantastic and delicious coffee that no coffee machine that we've owned can match. I also like that it makes just enough coffee for my wife and I with no waste. It's so much more fun to make our coffee just the way we like it and this Hario pour over is perfect for the task. The only obvious disadvantage to pour over is you need the time to prepare it by hand. On those hectic mornings where time is money, the good ol' drip maker is still king because it takes a minute or less to fill the tank, scoop some coffee in and press a button. I'll have freshly brewed coffee ready by the time I get dressed.

  • PROS: I love the small, portable size and the fact that it has a small handle, making it easy to hold the cup and also easier when handwashing it. I don't have to use an electric coffeemaker. I can definitely bring this along when going camping. If I need to quickly make a cup of coffee, I just add some condense milk in my mug, and then add ground coffee in this stainless steel coffee drip stainless steel cup. CONS: Some of the coffee managed to go through the filter and ended up in my coffee cup. I will have to use a different coffee grind size, so that some of the coffee does not slip through the filter.

  • Had one for a long time and was finally able to replace it!! It’s so easy to use and the aroma is amazing ! Perk over drip anytime. Love this machine!

Early one Sunday morning I turned the coffee maker on & got an error code “E01”…after looking up the code and reading the reviews online I can see that my Braun coffee maker has died. Bought December 2020 Died. April. 2022 I have little confidence that customer service (based on reviews) will be helpful in replacing the maker, let’s face it the corporate world builds their products to last just long enough for us to buy buy buy more junk. Bye..bye..bye to any future Braun products for my household 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽🤬 **Update April 8, 2022)** Customer service was great in helping me out. After submitting an email request via their website I received a response in two days, proceeded to call the company and after submitting two photos showing error code/cutting power cord Braun will send a replacement coffee maker. The entire phone conversation was less than 15 minutes. Still disappointed that the coffee maker died within 17 months of purchase…but customer service was good compared to other reviews left here.

  • Great coffee maker huge capacity and good flavor. Great purchase, simple machine, very easy to use and to clean. Practical, efficient. You can forget about buying papear filters because it has a permanent one. It’s great!!

  • Love the mason jar drink pitcher so much this is third one I have ordered. One for cold brew coffee, Sweet Tea & Ice Tea. Works great for all three. Infuser doesn't let ground through. Stores great!

  • I ordered the chefman coffee maker on June 29, 2019, It lasted about a month. The puncture arm fell off it hinge. Every-time i make a cup of coffee I had to put the the arm back onto the hinge and pray it wouldn't fall off. Many times I just got a cup of hot water. I finally decided to to order a new coffee maker. Just remember you get what you pay for.

You can barely read the clock on this thing. You have to be at the right angle. Otherwise works fine.
