  • A bit disappointed there's no option to change time to standard (instead of European i.e.1:00 pm is 13:00) but overall loved it! Lasted 3 yea s and I just nis accidently broke carafe. If I could find a replacement that fits I would not even need a new one because this works so well! Nice hard to find color too, matches nicely with my navy blue kitchen.

Brews a great cup, has all the features that I require…4 hour auto shutoff, programmable, and option for brew strength.

  • Beautiful french press! and works lovely. Just not very durable even with just standard use. I have used this daily (sometimes more than once a day) for just a few months and have loved it! But the other day, as I poured in some boiling water, I heard what sounded like a cracking noise. I inspected it closer, after I was done, and saw that there was a big crack in the glass. It has only sat on my counter and been used according to instructions. If you're looking for a durable product that won't need to be replaced in a few months with standard, daily use, than probably this isn't for you. I did try to reach out to customer service for the company selling this product but was unable to successfully locate any contact information to find out if this has occurred before. Sad that it's no good to me anymore.

  • The glass cracked the first time I poured hot water into it. Maybe I just got the only defective container but certainly was disappointing. It also looks better than it feels, the handle and frame don’t feel as sturdy as you’d think. It does look great, though. Wish it hadn’t have broken.

I did the work and read many reviews on many coffee makers of all systems and prices, so tempted to just get a cheap one but after reading reviews I went safer and got this Braun, I trusted the brand and I wasn’t wrong, great coffee maker, flavor, body and aroma of the coffee excellent, love the design, nice weight to it so is stable, the carafe doesn’t leak when serving, the convenient filter is great, the coffee comes out really hot and stayed hot for a while, the auto on program was easy to set and it started brewing right on time, best investment, very happy !!!

I’ve had this a few months and am really disappointed. First, as some have mentioned, the coffee pot design is bad. You can’t really pour all the coffee out and it’s really hard to clean. Next, the coffee machine design is also bad. After making coffee I have to turn the maker upside and shake to try to empty the water that gets stuck in the shower part of the machine (picture included) Finally, the coffee tastes bad even after cleaning the machine with the powder that’s included. I’m concerned it’s because there’s rust internally since it’s so hard to get all the water out from the shower part. I’d really like a refund.

  • Have been waiting for this product and it came broken

  • Delivered today, build feels very similar to the OXO version, but with about half the footprint. I am admittedly an OXO fan, and have 2 of their versions of the cold brew makers. I have struggled for some time now with the OXO and their gaskets on the filter cap, and their tendency to leak. For the record, every time i have had a problem with my OXO version, they have warranted it, and replaced the whole setup, can’t speak on this company’s customer service team (and hopefully won’t have to). I really like that the stainless filter is set in rubber (vice hard plastic), as i believe that it is helping make a good seal at the bottom. I like the capacity because i usually make a solid 32 ounces of concentrate per batch. I use 12 ounces of coffee, and around 50 ounces of water (which is the OXO recipe) and i was actually pleasantly surprised that this model while appearing smaller still holds everything! I like that it is significantly more compact than my current setup and nests together more easily! I’m not mad that there’s no glass here to worry about breaking. Time will tell how everything turns out, but on day one, it looks promising. Recipe: 285-300g of coarse lt ground coffee 50 ounces water Add everything together and let sit for 30 minutes, stir, another 30 minutes, and stir again. Park in the fridge for 36-48 hours. Drain. 32 ounces of concentrate to a one gallon pitcher. Top off with 2% or whole milk (could use water too i suppose :)

  • Final review update: March 2024 Purchased : January 2020 Pros: Good coffee Easy to descale Easy to use Cons: Hot plate only stays on for 60 minutes. Hot plate only works on half a pot or a full pot brew. A little over a year after purchasing the number dials started missing lights. See photo. If you use the stop drip switch, it would clear the hot plate timer. After about 2.5 years it stopped brewing half a pot entirely. It would only brew 4 cups, so we had to brew a 16 oz then a half a pot to get a half a pot brewed and have the hot plate turn on. Final issue, the hot plate started pealing and began making tripping our breaker. This is when we went ahead and replaced it. Overall, I would not repurchase. There are better coffee makers on the market that are in the same price range. Original review: We have had the Braun MultiServe Coffee Machine with the hot water feature for about 4 months now and it has absolutely lived up to the expectations and more! The coffee is always delicious and hot! So easy to decide set the auto brew, which we use a lot. I love that everything is tightly sealed so no dust can get in. Easy to clean. The only thing I wish I could change would be the auto shut-off for the hot plate. I drink my coffee a little slow and wish I could have it in longer than the one hour max. The hot water feature comes in super handy. We have used the over ice feature as well and that worked perfect too. Overall I am very happy with this product and have recommended it to numerous friends and family.

  • It makes my coffee and I have never tasted a more Rich delicious coffee. I may never go back to using a regular drip coffee maker. Oh and I feel classy using this thing.

What “Keurig” types need is a way to tap it into a water line; like a refrigerator ice maker. This way the truly lazy do not have to fill the reservoir every day.

  • I love this cold brew maker! It’s very easy to use and it fits perfectly in my fridge. This is also a great size. My old cold brew maker only had a 6 cup capacity which did not last long with me. The spout doesn’t drip, which was going to be my only concern with it sitting in my fridge. I love everything about this.

  • Omg this is such a cheap and great pot. I’ve been using everyday twice a day once in the morning and once at night for my husband for night shift. Idk why but there is just something about a regular, no fuss coffee pot you know what im sayin? Other pots have too many fancy options and buttons and honestly they seem pointless to me the results the same either way you get coffee. Why pay big bucks for something when you can achieve what you need with this? It works well and last thing I’ll say is since it’s only my husband and I, but we drink it at different times every day, so technically it’s just one person making coffee for just themselves, the size is absolutely on point. We don’t need a 12 cup pot. This size is great for one to two people and it doesn’t take up much counter space at all. It also looks cute bc it is smaller.

  • This is by far the best coffee maker I've ever owned. The entire experience from unboxing to drinking the coffee has been fantastic. There is zero assembly, the unboxing process is just pulling it out and taking a couple piece of tape off that hold everything in place. As soon as you plug it in the beautiful display lights up. This thing is so easy to use I was able to set the time and brew a pot of coffee without reading the instructions. You start by filling the hopper on top with beans. I'll also mention the hopper has a rubber seal to hold the lid on so for the most part it should be air tight and safe to keep your beans without fear of them losing flavor/aroma. Then you pour the water in the back, you have to pre measure your water because no matter how many cups you tell it to brew it will use all of the water you put in the tank. Also, here is the only negative mark I can give this coffee maker, the opening for pouring water is very thin. I would recommend using a funnel or pitcher with a narrow pour to put water in it. I used the carafe the first time and got water everywhere. After you fill the water you select how many cups to brew, your strength, then hit start. It will automatically grind the appropriate amount of beans (you can also adjust the grind coarseness), then brew you coffee. I like to use the highest strength setting. This is not a 1 minute brew, it takes its time to make a fantastic pot of coffee. I have not timed it but I would estimate at least 10 minutes for a full pot at full strength. The coffee it makes is excellent, way better than any other drip maker I've used. The only thing that even comes close is a french press with fresh ground beans. The included reusable filter is easy to clean, dump the grinds into the trash then rinse with water and you are good to go for your next pot of coffee. I am incredibly happy with this coffee maker, and I also happen to own a Galanz brand fridge that I keep my drinks in downstairs. It is just as great as this coffee maker. Don't sleep on Galanz, they make some really great stuff and someday could be a household name.
