Good product. Unfortunately the metal filter can only hold enough coffee to make 1-2 cups when the container is marked to hold 4 cups. (Could benefit from a metal filter or attachment to the filter expanding the filter cone to make a reservoir allowing it to hold 4 cups of liquid and just enough space for the coffee to ploom, the filter could also benefit from an etched ring mark indicating an estimate of the measure of 20 and 40 grams of coffee so no other tools like a scale are required) I worry the glass is as thin as cheap french presses I've bought in the past, none of which have ever survived a drop even into the sink. Hopefully someone in product design see's this. Over all -happy with my purchase, even though a customer service facebook person (responds like a bot and bugs you to leave a review during the registration process for an extra year of warranty coverage so at least that extra warranty can compensate for any brittleness, but brutal honesty is what you get if you hold a review hostage for a warranty extension, which I think is a fair exchange. ^_^ UPDATE: THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. As suspected the thinness of the glass was problematic as a piece of the bottom cracked out due to heat/imperfections in the glass. I took a picture to show that it clearly was not and impact break and talked to the seemingly AI fb chat person or bot and they immediately sent me a replacement after i just sent the pictures, order# and my address. THEN they offered another year of warranty just to resend them my email address to renew. Came in 3 days. If there was a separate star rating for customer service they'd get 5 stars for sure. Thanks!

  • so far so good no problem whatsoever have had a few months and some other reviews that I read had me want to change my mind but I’m glad I bought it and it’s full as the leak if you leave a coffee pot there for a second, the Drip it will stop

I've only had this coffee maker a week, so take what you can from that. But, so far, so good! Easy to set-up. Within 2 days I had the coffee adjusted to where I like it far as taste goes. Performs flawlessly, is quiet, fast, looks good and the coffee is not only flavorful, but HOT. I really like that about it. I'm used to pre-heating my coffee cup so the coffee doesn't cool off too fast, but not even sure that's necessary with this coffee maker. It is the perfect temp to brew good coffee and keep it hot all the way to the bottom of the mug. It's easy to clean and I love the "retro" look. The genius is in its simplicity...easy to adjust for any type of coffee you like. Zero issues or complaints...I'll come back and add if I need to, but love it so far. UPDATE. I've had this coffee maker for a little over a month now. I love it more now, than I did when I first got it. It continues to amaze me how good the coffee is! It has to make the smoothest coffee I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. I even bought a grinder. I went into it not expecting much of a difference, but boy was I wrong. The coffee is even more flavorful! I"m thinking of buying a second one, just to have on hand, in case something goes wrong in the future, but since you can purchase most or all of the parts you might need, not really necessary.

  • Although the machine is very simple and easy to use, there are a couple of problems. Problem number one is that there is no timer of any sort. It's either on or off. Not sure why since once it makes the coffee, it can't keep the cup warm but can make for a fairly impressive burst of steam if you don't notice it's on and add more water. Problem number two, which is more bothersome since I added an outlet with a timer to take care of Problem one. If you like 15 ounces of coffee and add the recommended amount of coffee grounds, the machine can't handle that much without making a mess. When the coffee grounds swell with moisture, they hit the water dispenser and will then fall into the reservoir when you open it next. I've started adding a little less coffee and it's better, but if you like a 15 ounce cup of strong coffee, this is not the coffee maker for you. The pictures are from using about 3 tablespoons of coffee grinds instead of the 4 that I'd usually use.

Bunn. We have a problem. I paid a lot of money for a coffee maker to stop working in less than a year. #1 the burner gets way too hot, but I can work around that. What I can’t work around is the fact that the front button that turns the burner on and off just fell off. In PIECES! It’s such a huge inconvenience that I am forced to purchase a new one. I don’t want to, I shouldn’t have to. Less than a year life span, used twice a day is ridiculous!!

Well made and so easy to use. The jar fit in my refrigerator no problem. Made great ice coffee. Easy clean up.

The edge started to peeling off

The water gets pulled back into reservoir with the grounds. It leaks from the basket onto the warming plate around the sides of the carafe. Now, the reservoir water is always brown and it stops making coffee halfway through the cycle. Unfortunately I’m 10 days past the return window. The aesthetics of this machine were nice at first, but it didn’t last long.

  • Makes good coffee but the matte black paint is peeling. No one wants paint flakes in their coffee.

  • Not a fit for my cup :( I did an inaugural run with alarm, which was the big selling feature for me, but the cup was much smaller than I was expecting. So it worked fine, felt a little plasticy, but worked all the same.

This coffee maker sucks! After three months it started to drip for hours after the brew. Top up or down, basket in or out it won’t stop dripping. I took the two top screws out and cleaned everything inside per instructions and it worked for two days. The attached video is what your gonna get if you buy this piece of crap.

  • Bought this in 2021. Use it daily. The paint all came off in the first year or so. Have ordered replacement filters a couple of times. Doesn't keep coffee hot as long as I would like. But overall does a good job.

  • Okay so I'm not one to put products out there... But this.... Game changer if you're a coffee drinker. I've been huge fan of my French press but it PALES in comparison to this baby.... No grit. None. Zero. But all the richness, coffee oils, without the bitterness. Oh. And it's self-cleaning. Highly recommend! I'll never again go back to my French press, percolator, and for sure never my drip!.... Except my new Moccamaster!

This would normally be a five star review (it turns on, it makes coffee, and shuts off before making folgers tar on the bottom of the pot) however I didn't realize they changed the filter cup area. Instead of being the same old simple design where you left the top, this contraption swings out to the side and you have to futz with lining up these little pins to get it apart, in order to take it to your can to dump the spent filter/coffee. The real joy is that these parts are plastic, and my community college education (with a focus in partying) just knows that this will eventually fail and or break at the most in-opportune time, causing unnecessary drama and dismay for the shop guys. We alleviated this by taking a small drill and reaming it out a size bigger, thus making it pop in/out easier, but it's still a POS if you ask me. Oh well. It's 25 bucks. I'm just glad it doesn't catch the shop on fire when in operation.
