the box didn't say "fragile" or "glass inside" so it arrived broken.

Love the ease of use, looks, capacity and most of all, the coffee tastes great. Didn't want to spend the extra $20 for all stainless, so this is black on the sides. Fits under cabinet. Water sprayhead is VERY large and I think that makes a difference. So far so good, very happy!

  • I will admit that I am a novice home barista and yet I still have a lot to learn. I have a Nespresso Vertuo pod machine with the additional milk frother and love it so much because it was so easy to make a great mug of coffee with frothy, steamed milk. I would have four to six mugs a day easy... When I saw this MCilPOOG Espresso machine with grinder and frother, I decided to give it a shot… no, wait… a double shot! (Hehe!). My first impression when I set it up on our counter was: Pro: Not too big…not too small…but just right. Very flashy and expensive looking. Large digital display panel. Many customizable settings. Next to no assembly required. Large water reservoir Large coffee bean bin for grinding. Con: Some of the chrome housing pieces are plastic, but most of it is chromed metal. There is one more con at the bottom of my review, but we will get to that when you read through my review. Okay. Let’s start… After reading the instruction manual, I felt confident enough to dive right in and start this new coffee making adventure. After I ran the quick first time use cleaning process, I was good to go... I love my coffee dark and bold. I want to really taste the flavor of coffee in every cup that I drink, so I installed the double-shot coffee cup filter into the stainless-steel handle, adjusted the bean grind setting on the left side of the machine, and started to make my first mug of coffee. With one pull down on the handle, it only filled the cup filter halfway. So I pulled the handle down once more and had a nice heaping pile of finely ground coffee bean powder. I used a small fork to even out the grinds and used the provided tamper to pack me a good coffee puck. I then moved the handle over to the water dispensing side of the machine, which at this point had already notified me, via the digital screen, that the machine’s water was hot and ready to brew me some delicious coffee nectar. I pushed the double-shot button on the control panel and watched as the black gold started to flow into my large shot glass. I decided to push the double-shot button a second time to squeeze even more from my coffee puck. It did me justice, and I was happy with the shot glass results. The next step was to try my skills at frothing some milk. The included stainless espresso pitcher is kind of small for the amount of milk I prefer with my strong espresso, so I had to steam two pitchers’ worth. By the second pitcher, I had the proper milk swirl happening, and the froth was starting to form. I thought, COOL. That was easy enough. At this point, I was very proud of myself and had to brag to my wife that I was already a pro. Okay. beginners’ luck. She wanted to see me do it two times in a row, so I had to make her a drink as well. Ha-ha! Success! Two in a row. Okay. I got lucky twice. But I am still fine tuning my skills with every mug I create, and I enjoy it every time. I am loving this MCilPOOG Espresso machine so much that I make about six to eight double- and triple-shot lattes per day for just me. Okay, okay. One is for my wife. I have fallen into a routine and have not played with all the features and options that the machine provides, but I will get to them one of these days… So you are probably wondering if I love this machine SO MUCH, why only 4-stars? If you viewed the pictures that I included with this review, you will see where I show the cup tray. This is where the steam and water overflows into, as well as some coffee grinds also. What’s happening is after making about three to four coffees, water starts to appear on the countertop under the machine. The tray does have water in it, but not very much. Under the tray and under the machine there is an equal amount of water to what’s in the tray, so I am constantly wiping up the leaking water on the counter and under the machine. It does get annoying, but I just keep thinking about the great coffee that this machine is giving me, and I just keep wiping away…

  • Pretty sure my machine is a dud, which is really disappointing and will be returned. This is a double cappuccino. I didn't even get an oz. It doesn't matter what brew or setting I make, it's all the same. I get maybe an ounce or 2 of liquid. The milk barely dispenses at all. Just disappointed

  • So far, so good!! I like that the water reservoir is separate, so it’s easy to clean. It’s working great. A couple of times it did say add water when there was water, so I just pushed the start button again and then it worked. I’m glad that I upgraded to this machine. It’s very convenient.

  • Once I was introduced to coffee that was prepared in a French Press, I was hooked for life. The depth of flavor is unmatched. So began my quest for the best French Press I could find. Well look no further! The Kitchen Supreme French Press is my morning partner, whether at work or at home (yes, I have 2.) The whole press is very well made with quality screens (and spares,) a *very* sturdy glass carafe, and a stainless steel lid to keep everything nice and hot. And their replacement guarantee is totally legit. I carelessly cracked my carafe dropping it on concrete; so I contacted them to **purchase** a replacement... Nope, no need, they replaced it without a seconds thought. The customer service was OUTSTANDING. I won't even consider a different brand.

My first cup of nespresso. Easy to use. The cup is very small, I filled up the hot water 2 times to make one cup. Recommend

I have wanted a tea maker for a long time. I finally decided to get one because I make a gallon of iced tea everyday. I looked at many and I decided to take a chance on this one because of price and the double filters. We love tea. Excuse the picture of the inside with my tea stained top filter. I just made a gallon before taking these pictures. I have had it since March 5, 2021. It was not expensive and works great still. You can choose the strength you desire. As you can see I have it on max. It makes half a gallon. I buy the one gallon Lipton tea bags, put it on max and add half a gallon of ice water to my gallon container (an upcycled, clean, plastic milk jug, because I'm fancy, lol). It is easy clean up, fast making and just super convenient. If you love tea, and thinking about getting one, than this is the one for you. It does come with a lid that I forget to put on before taking the pics.

  • Makes the best tasting coffee I’ve had for some time. I love the single server and my better half likes it because he can make one to take on the go. For the price it’s worth every cent.

  • The previous unit’s automatic brew feature stopped working after 2 weeks, so this was a replacement I received exactly 4 months ago. Now the warming plate on this one stopped working. On both units, the heat from brewing caused the yellow plastic retainer in the picture to soften and deform, so the lid won’t stay open when putting grounds or water in. I chose this unit because of the 4-hour warming plate shutoff, but I’m going to have to try a different brand.

  • So compact and works wonderfully. It’s on my counter nicely and the color looks great on my counter. Very nice design!!

  • This coffee maker is exactly what I've been looking for! Here are my favorite things about it: - It looks really nice. Love the stainless and black look. - It allows you to program the time you'd like it to start brewing. Is there anything better than waking up to the smell of fresh coffee? - The glass pot is very light even while full of coffee. Most coffee makers have heavy pots that make me feel like my wrist will snap when I lift it. Not this one! - The brewing time is fairly short compared to that of past coffee makers I've owned. - It comes with a reusable filter. Now this may not be all that exciting to most people, but it's my first time having one of these. I love it! - It's easy to clean. I've not found a single thing about it that I dislike yet, but I'll be sure to update my review in the future if I do.

Makes the most delicious cup of coffee. I recycle the grinds in my plants, very easy to clean.

  • I've only used it twice, but I love it already. The carafe amazing. Its comforting to know that I can drop it and the worse thing that would happen is a dent. I made the decision to go back to a french press because my BonaVida kept stalling out and I don't want to shell out the $200 for a coffee maker that makes a proper cup of coffee. Unlike a machine if a part breaks, the replacement plunger isn't overly expensive. My Aeropress is great, but a little too time-consuming for the work week. The traditional French Press plunger produces too much sediment for me. The plunger system on the Espropress is fabulous. The paper filters look ridiculously expensive, but I'm sure I could find a DIY hack. Even without the paper filter, this method produces a pretty clean cup of coffee. I've read some complaints about the amount of coffee that is left unused. It's minimal and I would never finish cup French Press anyways because of the sediment at the bottom. Initial impressions are extremely positive. I can't believe it took somebody this long to come up with this idea.

  • I bought this a couple years ago and it's one of the best coffeemakers.us.com purchases I've made. It's a very simple design of a handle with a lid, and a cylindrical filter with a couple of gaskets. I use a large 3 pint mason jar with mine and it makes excellent cold brew coffee as long as you brew it the night before and stick it in the fridge. After all the times I've used it every week for the last couple of years there is no leaks or cracks of any kind, this is a high quality item. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys cold brew coffee and doesn't want to pay to get it at the coffee shop everyday.
