  • I chose a Used machine. Was NOT lucky this time.. came with NO instructions, and did NOT even START ! I will have to make tome to contact coffeemakers.us.com to get some.. I have purchased Used products before from coffeemakers.us.com and they were GREAT !

  • This is bigger than your average French press. It's nice to be able to make more than just 1 or 2 servings at a time, which is handy when you have guests over. I also like that it's insulated so the water stays hot much longer than in the standard glass presses. The mesh works great with a secure fit, allowing minimal grounds to get through, if any.

  • Updated 8/26/24: I am adding to my review the instruction pamphlet that comes with the cold brewer. If you scroll to the bottom of the product information, there is a PDF link that will bring this up for you to print. I have also included the link. https://f.media-coffeemakers.us.com.com/images/I/C1f9NejQsUL.pdf I'll admit, I was hesitant to buy this. I just knew I'd have coffee grounds all over the place and in my iced mocha. But I didn't! This mason jar is the bomb! It was incredibly easy to set up and the cold brew is amazing! I've been using a Keurig for years making iced coffee out of a hot brew that melted all of the ice and still wasn't cold. The Keurig is no longer needed! Save yourself a lot of money and buy this!

  • Hi there fellow coffee enthusiasts. This is a warning. These units break frequently. Three year warranty. But Braun/DeLonghi makes claims a wicked PITA. I have been trying to get them to honor a claim since late December. It's February now. Multiple "upload a photo with cord cut" email exchanges, see attached images. Basically, these coffee makers are great, but unreliable and backed by crappy warranty service designed to make you give up in frustration. Hence the review. What's up Maria, Borys, Jose, Joselyn & Ronnie? Y'all were my reps for every stage of getting jerked around. Two days minimum between emails, but at least y'all were polite. I don't blame you, just doing Corporate's bidding. Gross. I'd hoped for better from Braun/DeLonghi. Nope.

  • Not sure how to contact anyone but received this December 1 the 2nd batch i made i pulled out of fridge December 24,and this happened ,not sure even why i just went to pull it out and a chunk broke luckily majority fell inside container but still no reason as to why ... on plus side the 2 weeks that I did use it before this happened i really liked it 🙍‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️

  • I mostly love this french press. My primary disappointment with it is that after a little over a year of ownership, the paint has started peeling from the top! The aesthetic of the matte black finish was really important to me and now it feels as though I'm stuck with this ugly (yet practical) french press. I'm keeping it around for now, but I'm not happy about it.

  • Nice coffee maker, great for my office, and a quick coffee pot. It does brew the coffee well and it keeps it warm for serving. The filter is reusable and removable and is very simple and easy to clean even with just a quick rinse. It serves around 5 cups which is exactly what I needed and not more.

This thing is ridiculous. We have hard water in Dallas and this thing handles it like a boss! It's probably at least 10-12 years old... My parents gave it to me when i moved out in 2014 and they'd already had it a while when i was gifted it. Haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. We run vinegar through it once every year or so. It handles DAILY coffee making, and has just been overall amazing. The coffee it makes tastes like coffee lol. In the picture i shared, it has vinegar in the carafe, that's why it looks weird.

  • I purchased the Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker as a Christmas gift for my husband as he LOVES coffee. We live in Arizona and I thought it would be a nice change from his daily hot cup/s. After purchasing we found out his esophagus is scarred and is supposed to reduce his coffee intake. Then I discovered that cold brew is much less acidic than normally brewed hot coffee, so this worked out perfectly. We were EXTREMELY pleased with the quality of all of the individual pieces of the unit, how well they fit together, and how the unit has performed... FLAWLESSLY. My husband hasn't had a cup of hot coffee since Christmas Day. I purchased the Ultra-Purewhip Nitrogen chargers and again...Everything is working perfectly and we are 'Cold Brewers' now...LOL.

I really wanted to love this French press. It has a beautiful design, but there are a few design flaws IMHO. 1. Nut at bottom of plunger rusts after only a few uses which leads me to believe that all parts are NOT stainless steel. 2. Filter leaves something to be desired, perhaps they should include a double filter for fine sediment. For the price, I would have thought I would have been getting a fine quality press. I ended up returning it and buying one for $15 cheaper that worked much better.

A very easy to use carafe to make coldbrew but the plastic used to make the handle, filter, and lid are very cheap. The lid split the second I removed it to make more coffee. perhaps i may be a gorilla but it looks to me like it could be better designed.

As you can see in photo, drain in bottom of basket is not in the center. This prevents you from re-using basket from other Mr. Coffee models with this one -- and the basket in this model is flimsy. What a gyp. Employee who proposed this design change should be fired.
