This new coffee maker covers so many options for coffee in our household! We can make a single cup… make a pot or fill up a travel mug and head out and about. Love this Flexbrew Coffee maker!

  • I know that this is probably one of the trendiest ways to make coffee nowadays. But truth be told, when I was a little girl my father had a very similar coffee maker. that he would set up first thing in the morning and after dinner. I loved the ritual of watching him make coffee the pour over way. When April came and I was looking for birthday gift ideas, I wanted something that I would get use out of, and that was not very expensive . So I thought about my coffee habit. I do not drink a lot of coffee, but I love coffee . From my keurig, French press, regular drip maker, etc. I thought this would be a good addition to my coffee family. There is a much pricier, well-known brand, very similar in look, and style, to this one. Until I knew what I wanted I was not willing to invest, just yet. I chose this one because of the price, and the look, and the reviews. Now that I have had it for a few months, I don’t see any reason to get anything else. It’s easy to clean, for me. One thing to keep in mind, is to rinse it immediately after you're done using it. I like that the cork is 100% removable to make cleaning a breeze A little bit of hot water, white vinegar, and a soft brush , and it’s as good as new. This item comes with a measuring spoon, and a reusable filter, which I appreciated. I tried the paper filters that came with this package -just to see if there was a difference in taste/quality, and quite honestly my guests and I did not notice a difference, to justify using only paper filters. But then again, I am a newbie to this game, So, I might be missing some slight nuances of flavor, or coloring, or what have you. Overall, this pour over maker is a thorough complete package. If you are on the fence about switching over to the “pour over life“ , looking for a pour over maker of your very own, a gift, etc., I don’t see how you could go wrong with this specific item.

  • The pump piston popped out after a year of light usage. That was about ~4-5 shots/week, never left the house with it and cleaned it religiously after each use. Looking at the piston, there are two lugs that hold it in place, but the lugs are just tiny bumps molded into the plastic of the piston. One of the lugs broke and there is no way that I can see to fix it on my own. I'm frankly quite surprised that it has lasted even this long. Customer support was contacted with a detailed account of what happened and a photo of the issue. It's been over a month and there has been no response (better no news than bad news?). I have to admit that while the thing still worked, it made pretty decent coffee. However, I don't think the coffee is so good that I'm going to buy a replacement annually. Time to move on to a more serious (and durable) solution.

THREE YEAR UPDATE March 31, 2022 Three years in we have learned to live with and love this coffee maker. It is true that other makers made coffee hot enough that the carafe could keep it for longer. Our new normal became warming our creamer in the microwave for 20 seconds or so so that it doesn't cool off the coffee. We didn't have to do this with other makers, but we also replaced those other makers nearly annually! This one is still kicking 3 years in like it never skipped a beat. A feature I learned to use when I am in a hurry is the fast brew. If you are pressed for time it will make the coffee in like 3/4 of the time it usually takes. Nice option. The timer works great although we seldom use it also. Overall I am very pleased. This pot was more expensive than the ones we usually buy but the fact it has lasted 3 years now easily makes it worth every penny. I was pretty hard on this maker in my first review. Reading it again I stand behind every word, but once I overcame the primary challenge of cold creamer cooling down the coffee I have to say that I love this coffee maker. I can not pronounce its name, but I love it! The following is our March 2019 review: I want to like this coffee pot. In every way but one it is exactly what we are looking for, but that one drawback is crucial for a coffee lover. The coffee just isn't hot enough. We have used thermal carafe coffee makers exclusively for at least 15 years and each has had its own set of challenges. Most just don't keep the coffee hot enough, but they at least make hot coffee. I think this one just doesn't make coffee hot enough to start with. If you don't take cold creamer from the refrigerator then you might be okay. We understand that the carafe has to be filled with hot water and emptied before brewing so the cool carafe is not cooling the coffee as it is made and we have done this with all of our thermal carafe coffee makers. Some coffee makers will make hot coffee but the carafe is poorly made and cools too quickly. It is a little hard to judge this carafe's ability to keep coffee hot since it seems the coffee might not be hot enough to begin with.

I purchased this to bring on a trip so that I wouldn't have to use the hotel coffee pot. The pros: I saved money & had fresh coffee each morning. The cons: The coffee wasn't as strong, cleanup of the filter was not as easy (recommend purchasing cloth pods instead), the included cup is cheap and doesn't keep coffee warm. As the picture shows, my box was pretty torn up. Thank goodness it didn't affect the product and it wasn't a gift. So, eh?

  • Delivered the next day. Received in good condition. Very light and easy to bring with us when traveling. Does not take much space.

Bought because the height was perfect, it was 12 cups, and reviews were good. I disagree with the reviews. 1) coffee is actually on the watery side no matter how strong my coffee or much I use. 2) overflow hole in tank is set at 12.000001 cups- you can’t fill TO the pot’s 12-cup line. 3) the heating surface started peeling after the 3rd pot! Only used a sponge- soft side- to wipe, but off it came. Easy to use -the hour and minute buttons are great- but marginal coffee compared to my former coffee makers, which cost less.

coffeemakers.us.com’s return policy has changed. Can’t return, the item broke in 2 months due to the manufacturer defect. I want my money back.

This is a very cute gold ole coffee maker. It is well made and looks amazing on the kitchen counter. The o ly downside is the size, it is a little small and can hardly make than two coffee cups. Otherwise it is great

  • The filter is attached loosely via plastic to the plunger. The plastic joint cannot be tightened or removed to screw it to the stem better and what space is available leaves a loose attachment to the filters. Good if you have to clean it, bad for everything else. It does not stay attached when using the press as intended. Attempted to try and fix it but nothing has worked. Cheaper to take the loss than to ship as a return.

I love everything about this coffee maker except the coffee temperature. It doesn't get hot enough and when you add milk, it's just about warm. I brewed with a thermometer in the cup and it didn't get higher than 164°. Ultimately, coffee is perfect brewed between 190° & 205°. We were going to try to deal with the low temperature but decided that's not going to be an enjoyable cup of Java. I've returned it and will try the Ninja CM401

  • This is the second espresso machine I've owned - the first being a major brand - so I have that baseline of comparison. Operation is straight forward so worries for the new initiates. Do get some good quality coffee with the right grind and use the included tamper to be sure the coffee is well compacted. Like computer programming says: garbage in - garbage out. So the better the coffer the better your brew. Turning the power on gets you brew-ready within 30 seconds. This machine boasts a higher bar pressure (20) yet the finished cake (what's left when you're done,) always has additional water on the top and is not completely solid when knocked out. Last machine I had did not do that - not sure why the difference. Nevertheless, a good cup of espresso. Steamer works as it should - if your new to doing that, find a vid to watch as there is a real art to getting the right level of foam and then lay it on top of your brew. I like the clear and removable water reservoir - easy to see if I need more water and then fill it without needing to move the machine or find another picture. The footprint of the machine is very slender and looks great in our kitchen when lined up with our other stainless and black mix of appliances.

  • Price was better than what he have found in stores- better than Starbucks! I use purified water too- maybe that helps make it better tasting/ but I was really shocked at how it tasted better than any coffee I have ever had and I’m 65 years old!
