I recently received this coffeemaker from my registry for a wedding gift. Before, I had the Hamilton Beach Brewstation for the last 4 years. The Brewstation operates a similar way to this one which is what I was looking for. I love the dispensing feature opposed to a carafe. This one is definitely worth the money. It has everything that I wished my Brewstation had. It has the dispensing feature along with all of the different settings such as brew strength, a timer to set, a length of time for it to remain warm, etc. It makes me a little worried in the future about the touch screen buttons failing but we’ll see! My biggest complaint with my Brewstation was that it always seemed to be dirty and hard to clean. This one has an inner carafe like holding place for your coffee that you can take apart and clean. Because of the material it’s made from it doesn’t seem to look like it would get gross and moldy easily. I also love that this comes with a charcoal water filter especially since I have hard water! This coffee maker also alerts you every 30 cycles to clean it. And it actually has its own built in cleaning cycle to descale the heater for 30 minutes and then it will empty into the holding part for you to dump out. It’s very convenient and easy to use. My biggest complaint is that it will not dispense until it’s done brewing but for a 14 cup coffeemaker it doesn’t take long!
I bought some higher end coffee to make cold brew at home. My package got delivered and I started making the cold brew since it takes 12-24 hours. It had a hole in the glass container. Coffee was not salvageable so a waste of money on both products!
13 oz is smaller than I thought but I love it. It's so cute and my coffee comes out great. Good size for travel. Sleeve can get pretty hot, be careful.
Apenas la empecé a usar hace un par de meses y dejó de funcionar, la llevé a revisar y ya no funciona. Durante funcionó estuvo bien, pero para mi no fue un buen producto debido a la poca duración.
I just love the look of this French press! It even matches the manual grinder I have. But thats not all! It's super easy to use and to clean. It even came with instructions on how to use it and how long to steep the coffee. It also keeps the coffee nice and hot. Plus it's got a good grip and the handle goes down nice and smooth. A great French press to get for yourself or for someone as a gift.
Good except for the fact that the lettering fades off. I ordered one in February 2019 contacted cuisinart in April and they sent me another one and here we are in October and they same thing. Posting a picture.
I don't normally write product reviews, but THIS pour-over coffee maker is simply amazing! Hubby and I are coffee snobs and this replacement for our old Cuisinart coffee maker had to be rock solid and make a great cup of coffee. I ordered it yesterday, received it today(!!), and excitedly made our first pot-- OMG!! What a difference this machine makes!! Absolutely NO bitterness and an amazingly delicious, rich, complex and velvety taste I was never able to achieve with our old machines. This is our first SCAA-certified, pour-over style coffee maker and I did my homework before choosing this one. I expected to pay two to three times our usual $70 investment in a coffee maker, comparing with Technivorm Moccamaster, Brevlle and other very pricey machines. Interestingly, there were very few reviews of this Cuisinart machine on YouTube, but I have to say it is one of the few pour-over machines that is programmable (able set the start of brewing for the next morning, and able to program the hot plate shut-off after brewing is completed). It was also about half of the $300+ price tag of the Moccamaster which was not programmable. After tasting this coffee, we are simply thrilled with this machine. Beyond that, the machine itself feels very well made and sturdy, and is very simple to clean and operate. The glass carafe does not dribble either. I just can't say enough good things about this machine. It makes just 8 cups of coffee in one brewing which is perfect for our morning coffee routine. HOWEVER, ....[BONUS ALERT!!].... I discovered that our old 12-cup Cuisinart glass carafe is exactly the same height and lid construction as this new one and is perfectly compatible with this coffee maker! So if we have company over, I can simply use the larger pot and run two brews. I purchased this machine myself and was NOT paid for this review. If you love EXTRAORDINARY coffee that knocks your socks off, look no further. This coffee maker is the BOMB!!
This pour over dripper comes in a no nonsense cardboard box, and no filters or anything. But it takes #2 filters perfectly, and #4 fit just fine too, just with some overlap. The color is beautiful; the handle is delightful. The three holes provide what I would consider just the right slow pour over experience. Not too slow by any means. I think it's just the right amount of flow; I just wouldn't want the holes any bigger. The resulting coffee tasted wonderful. Totally recommended. It's also very ceramic, so I felt comfortable throwing it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher. I guess if you're taking it camping, I would pack it as carefully as you would anything ceramic.
I have owned this coffee maker for a year now and I absolutely love it. I used a french press at home for years but I was ready for something more consistent and less work. The zojirushi can't make a cup of coffee better than the PERFECT cup out of a french press or pour over, but it makes really good coffee every time. The coffee comes out around 158 degrees. I took a temperature measurement for my second cup an hour after brewing and it was still approximately 149 degrees. I haven't had any issues with the display lights failing. To clean, the instructions tell you how to remove the rubber seals from the lid and how to pull the central rod out that opens and seals the lid. I wish the lid could be further disassembled, but you can clean it by pouring water through or with a pipe cleaner. I use the proposed amounts of coffee grounds from the scoop that comes with it. I would highly recommend this coffee maker, I am considering spending the extra money to get a second one to replace my work coffee machine.
Me encantó esta cafetera de muy buena calidad la entrega muy rápida de seguro lo volvería a comprar gracias al vendedor
I used this 3 times and loved it. But went to fill it up a few minutes ago and the glass on bottom busted right off
It's lightweight. Has an window to see progress in color of beverage. Comes in black or white. It's an everyday french press. Probably going to go test it even though it's late!
The pictured latch must be moved and locked to brew. However it is very stiff and difficult for someone with arthritis in their hands. It hurts! Otherwise the coffee is great. I would not have purchased if I had known it took so much hand strength to use.
We bought this coffee maker to replace our *8 year old similar model Cuisinart grind and brew*. Like the other reviews, 3 months into daily use the unit CAUGHT FIRE in our kitchen! Smoke pouring from under the unit, like the other reviews. My husband grabbed the coffee maker and ran outside with it. (See pic below for it's new location in our driveway) Scary! I'm extremely disappointed in Cuisinart. Apparently they've forgotten how to make a quality product that at least passes the bar of *not catching fire in your kitchen.* Buy at your own risk!
Seriously, why would you make such a thin glassed coffee pot? Do not buy this.
