I am not a coffee drinker but my husband is. He is from Cuba. He already had a regular coffee maker but wanted to expand his coffee bar to include an espresso machine, so he could have his afternoon "cafecito". But espresso machines take up a lot of room. This little device is slightly smaller than a standard coffee maker, so it fits the space we have perfectly! There was a bit of intrepidation about learning how to use it, but he read the instruction manual and watched the video from the vendor's website. It turns out that it's really easy to use and so much quicker than using his traditional Cuban stovetop coffee maker. He is very pleased with it and recommends it!
Delicious, vacuum-brewed siphon coffee may be the star of the show, but our versatile Siphon Brewer also serves as a tea brewer and water boiler -- all in a small footprint. With a 30-ounce capacity for brewing tea and coffee, and 17-ounce capacity for boiling water, the compact brewer will surely find a permanent spot on your counter. The seals and all parts fit perfectly and perform beautifully when taking the time to line them up. Incredible results...Highly recommend.
Bought this for a late Christmas gift . Hoping for a sturdy durable coffee pot to be used on a wood stove . My son says it was beautiful and just the right size but there was a rivet missing . Looks like there might have been one there but wasn’t when he opened it . Disappointed .
Best space savor coffee maker that is 2 style coffee makes in one. I love that I can make a pot to share or a use a any K-cup single serve. I have this in my office and the stainless steal thermos keeps the coffee hot and it does not burn if it sits for a while like traditional coffee makers that have a warmer. The single serve has a reusable brew basket that can be stored under the cup stand for brewing.
Meh… got extended warranty maybe next one will work sending it back. When it worked it made the BEST coffee!!!!!
I purchased this coffee pot after Chipping my old Mr. coffee pot. This coffee maker is easy to operate and I like the features such as timer and brewing options.
Pleasantly surprised buy the quality of espresso this thing makes. The 18 bars of pressure makes the difference.
I have liked this product but it quit working properly after 12 months. It will not brew when you hit ‘Start Brew’ power is on, all buttons seem to work. FRUSTRATING!!
From the pictures and description it seemed like a good buy however, when it arrived there was few things wrong with it right away 1. I noticed that there was grease marks in side where the coffee and water would be tried to clean it with soap and water with little luck there was still some residue left over 2. In addition at the bottom there was almost some sort of dent like markings which may lead to leaks in the future did not try to brew coffee due to grease not coming out 3. The plunger was not long enough as it was off a different "mini" french press, and the filters cannot be removed as stated in instructions the top screwed off instead of the bottom Sending item back right away, will invest in better quality you do get what you pay for this is absolute waste of time pure garbage!
This coffee pour over set is nice. The glass cone easily separates from the bamboo base. The bamboo base has a cool rubber gasket that holds it tight. I don’t have any #2 Melitta filters so I just used a #4. It was fine. Since the cone is glass I pre warmed it so it wouldn’t suck the heat out of my coffee. Maybe unnecessary but I did it anyway. I like that the bamboo ring seals the top of the coffee cup. Clean up was easy. Nice product just wish it was a little bigger.
My Keurig stopped working prematurely again so I’ve written them off. I would consider this a decent replacement. I like the simplicity of the functions, it makes coffee in the same amount of time as any single serve maker. It’s sleek and modern looking. I love the blue lit screen and bonus points for the time display. The reservoir is big enough for multiple uses before having to fill up. I’m glad the water gets low enough before saying “add water” my Keurig before would be 1/4 filled with water and always screamed at me to refill prematurely in my opinion. I refill my reservoir with bottled water so I’m not handling it and attaching it to the maker full of water. Since there’s no handle I’d assume carrying that around would be slightly challenging or at least irritating. There’s two heat settings “hot” and “Xhot”. I have it set to hot and it’s hot enough for me to enjoy immediately with added cold creamer. The hidden side door with the reusable coffee filter is a pretty neat idea. Im glad they made a space for it so it won’t end up just rolling around in a drawer. The big downside for me is that this thing is ridiculously LOUD. I’ve attached a video if you’d like to hear what it sounds like. If your kitchen is far away enough from bedrooms I don’t see why it’ll bother anyone. The other thing I dislike is the mess it creates. This is the messiest coffee maker I’ve ever owned. There’s so many coffee drip marks on the counter. It’s tolerable but if you’re rushing out the house the last thing you want to be worried about is wiping up your coffee area.
So this is easy to use, easy to clean, it looks gorgeous, and the coffee tastes AMAZING! Mine has a brushed copper finish and silver lid. the know on top it glass and all inards are metal. I don't use coffee filters because the basket inside filters enough for me. Are there a small amount of grounds in the last cup? Yes. Is it a big deal? No. If it's an ussue for you, make a little extra so you aren't stuck with the absolute last coffee in there. Also, it lights up when done! LOVE ❤ P.S. it does get hot so keep out of reach of small children.
A very good product with easy instructions. Looking at the instruction manual you’d think this was more than the 25.00 spent. Happy oh great way to make coffee for two or one. Nice to get to get more use out of my electric hot water kettle.
Ok, so this claims to be "equivalent to a coffee machine", and faster too... The part of coffee brewing that takes the most time is heating the water. This "coffee maker" doesn't have any means of doing this at all. You can wait all day. It won't help. You can make pourover coffee with it, using hot water, but that is a far cry from "equivalent to a coffee machine". It claims to be waterproof and dishwasher safe, and yet the first instruction is "do not immerse in water", and further describes how soaking or immersion in water can cause damage or electrical faults. It also fails to provide any basic use instructions. I couldn't figure out how to get the stirring function to turn on until I watched the listing video. It certainly doesn't provide instructions on brewing coffee with it. It also advertises "Protein to meal replacement, effortlessly". I don't know what that even refers to, or how this coffee cup would provide that. 3 stars. This is a decent travel mug, with a stirrer and a thermometer and a pourover filter built in, but it is not as advertised in several respects.
We had to learn the appropriate amount of steep time vs press time…but once we figured out our perfect brew it was great for traveling.
